Kena Bridge of Spirits The Village Collectible Locations

The Village contains 65 Collectible Locations in Kena Bridge of Spirits. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in the Village Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

• 8 Flower Shrines
• 3 Spirit Mail
• 6 Cursed Chests
• 3 Meditation Spots

It’s recommended to grab what you can during the story and clean up the rest after the story. Nothing is missable, you can return everywhere. After finishing the story you will be put back in the Title Screen and can click Continue to spawn before the final cutscene. From there you can keep searching for Collectibles. After the story you will have all abilities and access to all map areas, so it will be easier to find your way around. During the story some regions can’t be fully explored on first visit and some Rots and Hats are story related rewards from later on. On the map there’s a collectible counter for each region that tracks how many collectibles you found of each type, except for Meditation Spots which aren’t tracked.

It’s recommended to keep the Village for last. This is because the area won’t be completely open just yet as you’ll need all 10 Spirit Mail to collect everything. This guide assumes that you’ve at least collected every other Spirit Mail from the other regions. Once you have all Spirit Mail collectibles, you can open up the entire area and grab whatever collectible is locked behind their gates.

#1 – Rot Hat (Mushroom) 1/21
You will automatically be given this as part of the story.

#2 – Rot Hat (Pot) 2/21
Next to the Rot Hat Cart.

#3 – Rot 1/24
On a market stand, directly across the Rot Hat Cart.

#4- Rot Hat (Clover) 3/21
Next to the Rot Hat Cart, by the stairs leading up, next to a barrel.

#5 – Cursed Chest 1/6
Now follow the road to the back of some market stands, which is right next to the chest you’ve just opened. In here you will find this Cursed Chest. Defeat all enemies.

#6 – Flower Shrine 1/8
Next to the area you’ve just entered, in the Main Street of the village, is an area that needs to be unlocked by one 0f the Spirit Mail collectibles you’ve found in the other regions of the game. In here you can summon a spirit. Guide it outside of this area and directly across you will find this Flower Shrine

#7 – Rot 2/24
Now enter the house directly across of you (it should be behind you if facing the previous Flower Shrine). You will find this Rot stuck in a drawer by the cabinet.

#8 – Rot Hat (Star) 4/21
Now go open the area at the very beginning of the Village’s Main Street. You will need one of the Spirit Mail collectibles you’ve found in the other regions of the game to enter. Inside one of the houses here is this Rot Hat.

#9 – Rot 3/24
Retrace your steps to the very first garden you’ve fought some enemies in after unlocking this area by means of Spirit Mail. In here you should find some ledges leading you to a rooftop. Complete the shooting challenge.

#10 – Rot 4/24
Now go open the area that’s at the very end of the first detour on the left from the start of the Village. Climb up the stairs and you will eventually reach a corrupted area with some enemies. Once you’ve gotten rid of them, check the frog pond. The frogs will give you sequence you need to shoot the crystals. Starting from the left frog, the right sequence is middle, right, left. Once you’ve hit all crystals in the correct order, you will reveal this Rot.

# 11 – Rot Hat 5/21 (Frog)
Automatically earned after collecting the previous Rot.

#12 – Rot 5/24
Now lower the bridge and get to the other side. Keep climbing up the stairs until you spot a pink lantern. Use your Pulse ( ) to reveal this Rot.

#13 – Cursed Chest 2/6
Now go down the stairs and you will eventually find Cursed Chest this under a market stand. Defeat the two enemies.

#14 – Rot 6/24
Now make your way back to the center of this part of the Village. Next to a garden and by some broken wheels you should find some rock you can blow up. Blowing them up reveals this Rot.

#15 – Flower Shrine 2/8
Directly across from the last spot are some enemies. Defeat them all to reveal a Forest Tear. Guide the spirit all the way opposite where you are to find this Flower Shrine, past the bridge.

#16 – Rot Hat (Dinosaur) 6/21
Scattered around this area are three owl statues you can have your Rots carry. These three statues will have to be placed on specific stands found by the bridge you need to activate in this area. One statue is by the Forest Tear, one is behind the location you need to place them in, one is by the water. Once you’ve placed them all you will receive this Rot Hat.

#17 – Rot 7/24
Now open the area that’s directly next to you by means of a Spirit Mail collectible you’ve found in the other regions. Once inside, defeat all enemies first. Once you have, approach the crane and inside a bucket hanging from the edge is this Rot.

#18 – Rot Hat 7/21 (Fishing)
Automatically earned after collecting the previous Rot.

#19 – Rot Hat (Dog) 8/21
Now go all the way back to the very first bridge you’ve activated in this area. Instead of crossing, go up the stairs like you did when collecting the Rot from the pink lantern. Instead of going downstairs like we did earlier, cross the bridge this time and go right to find a chest containing this Rot Hat.

#20 – Rot Hat (Cat) 9/21
Now make your way to the entrance to the Storehouse. Instead of going inside the Storehouse, take a left and go all the way to the back to find a chest containing Rot Hat.

#21 – Meditation Spot 1/3
Now use the nearby fast travel point and warp to the Warrior Path where you will find this Meditation Spot right in front of you.

#22 – Flower Shrine 3/8
Now jump into the water and swim all the way to the two small patches of land you can find halfway through. On one of these is a Forest Tear you can use to cleanse the corrupted Flower Shrine found on the other patch of land.

#23 – Spirit Mail 1/3
Now go back to where you’ve picked the Forest Tear, but this time look behind you to find some climbable ledges. Once you’ve reached the topmost rock, look below to find some rocks you can blow up. Use these rocks to get closer to flower you can grapple onto. Drop down and enter a new area where you need to fight some enemies. Killing all enemies reveals a purple portal or you to dash through. In the new area you will find this Spirit Mail collectible.

#24 – Rot Hat (Samurai) 10/21
Next to the previous Spirit Mail collectible.

#25 – Rot 8/24
Now make your way back to land and open the Spirit Mail area found next to where you’ve docked. In here climb to the very top to find this Rot tucked away in a chest.

#26 – Rot Hat (Bunny) 11/21
Go back down the way you came from and you’ll find a chest with this Rot Hat on your way out.

#27 – Cursed Chest 3/6
Now go lower the bridge which is near the owl statues we rounded up earlier. Climb up the stairs to find this Cursed Chest hidden inside a cave. Defeat all enemies without getting damaged.

#28 – Meditation Spot 2/3
Now use any of the closest fast travel points to warp to the Mask Maker Path. Go where you’ve fought the mask maker version of Toshi and one of the overlook points here is this Meditation Spot.

#29 – Spirit Mail 2/3
Climb back down and go all the way past the fast travel point until you can see two houses and a tall skyscraper-looking structure. At the very top is this Spirit Mail. The entrance is at the back of this building.

#30 – Rot Hat (Mask) 12/21
Now make your way back up until you eventually have to destroy some pillars to make your way forward. Once you’ve made your way past the destructible pillars, you will find a chest with this Rot Hat in a house.

#31 – Flower Shrine 4/8
Inside the same house are some story-related items you can interact with. Put on your mask to reveal a memory and once you’ve done so, a Forest Tear will appear. Guide it down the stairs and to the right to find this Flower Shrine.

#32 – Rot 9/24
Make your way back to the Main Street of the Village and continue to the mask altar. Take a right to reach the bank of a pond. In here, under a rock, you will find this Rot.

#33 – Rot Hat (Toshi’s Mask) 13/21
Now go back up, climb the stairs, then the bridge. Blow up some rocks by the waterfall to reveal a path and continue on until you can find a Spirit Mail area on your left. Open it up and inside the house you will find a chest with this Rot Hat.

#34 – Rot 10/24
Next to the previous Rot Hat’s location.

#35 – Flower Shrine 5/8
Now go uphill until you can find a Forest Tear location. The drop is hidden inside a nearby bucket, by the house. Guide the spirit past the two vines of corruption and you’ll find this Flower Shrine in plain view.

#36 – Rot Hat (Zajuro’s Mask) 14/21
Enter the house next to the Flower Shrine to find a chest with this Rot Hat.

#37 – Rot 11/24
Now go all the way downhill to find yet another Spirit Mail area. Enter the building and go all the way underground to find some enemies. Kill them all and then cleanse the area. Now go back the way you came from and back outside. You will find this Rot hidden in a white lantern by some bamboo stands.

#38 – Rot 12/24
Using the nearby fast travel point warp to the Main Street of the Village and make your way to the area that leads to Taro’s Tree. Ignore the Spirit Mail portal that you see on your left for which you shouldn’t have the required Spirit Mail collectible yet. Instead, continue on to the left past the Flower Shrine to find the Spirit Mail portal we need to unlock. Cleanse the area and then go to the back to find this Rot under a log.

#39 – Rot Hat (Ladybug) 15/21
At the back of this house.

#40 – Flower Shrine 6/8
Now go back to the main path that leads to Taro’s Tree and summon a spirit from the very first Forest Tear you find. Guide it back to the Flower Shrine we passed earlier.

#41 – Spirit Mail 3/3
Across from you, as if you were to go back to the Main Street of the Village is an area with a big bucket your Rots can move. Place it by the imprint on the ground, climb up on it and enter the building by means of the ledge to find this Spirit Mail collectible.

#42 – Rot 13/24
With the final Spirit Mail collectible we’ve just collected, we can now open up the Spirit Mail portal find across the street. Rid the area of the enemies and the corruption and then head to the back to find this Rot tucked away behind a bowl.

#43 – Rot Hat (Yellow Mushroom) 16/21
Now enter the house we’ve just cleansed and open the chest to reveal this Rot Hat.

#44 – Rot 14/24
Now continue up the main path as if you were going to the Taro’s Tree region. Instead, take a right at the very top of the hill to find a bridge you can lower. Cross the bridge and defeat all enemies. Then, approach the lever to initiate a target shooting challenge. Complete the challenge three times to reveal this Rot.

#45 – Rot Hat (Baseball) 17/21
Behind the target shooting challenge is a house with a chest where you can find this Rot Hat.

#46 – Flower Shrine 7/8
Summon a spirit from the Forest Tear found on your way to Taro’s Tree and guide it past the bridge we lowered earlier. Take the first hill on your left to eventually find this Flower Shrine.

#47 – Meditation Spot 3/3
Go downhill and use the fast travel point to warp to the Hunter Path. Here you will find your final Meditation Spot in the Village.

#48 – Flower Shrine 8/8
From where you are start following the white lantern path. Do not dash through the purple portal. Instead, continue on until you can find a Forest Tear. Guide it up the hill to find this Flower Shrine.

#49, #50, #51, #52, #53 – Cursed Chest 4/6, 5/6, and 6/6, Rot 15/24, Rot Hat (Unicorn) 18/21
Make your way back to the Village Center and open up the Spirit Mail portal found at the top of the stairs. Drop down to find three Cursed Chests. Once contains a Rot, one some crystals, and the third and bigger one a Rot Hat. Each Cursed Chest requires you kill some enemies before the time runs out.
