Kena Bridge of Spirits Rusu Mountain Collectible Locations

Rusu Mountain contains 25 Collectible Locations in Kena Bridge of Spirits. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Rusu Mountain Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

• 1 Cursed Chests
• 1 Meditation Spots

This guide is intended for use AFTER the story. During the story some regions can’t be fully explored on first visit and some Rots and Hats are story-related rewards from later on. Nothing is missable, you can return everywhere. After finishing the story you will be put back in the Title Screen and can click Continue to spawn before the final cutscene. From there you can keep searching for Collectibles. After the story you will have all abilities and access to all map areas, so you will be able to reach all Collectibles. On the map there’s a collectible counter for each region that tracks how many collectibles you found of each type, except for Meditation Spots which aren’t tracked.

#1 – Rot 1/13
Along the main path near the start of Rusu Mountain region, where you have to cleanse a corrupted area, you can find it in the right-side corner under a rock.

#2 – Flower Shrine 1/3
To the left of the main path. Use your rot on the nearby tear drop to destroy the vines blocking the way.

#3 – Rot 2/13
In the section with the slope you can slide down. Go to the very top and during the sliding jump it’s on the right cliff. Press to reveal the Rot.

#4 – Rot 3/13
From the Ruins fast travel point you can climb down a ledge next to it to find the Rot there.

#5 – Spirit Mail 1/1
During the first big climbing section at one point you will have the choice between entering a cave or climbing to the right. The cave is the regular path, the way to the right will have the Spirit Mail waiting at the end.

#6 – Rot 4/13
After the climbing section instead of following the main path climb up to the north-most area to find it there. This is just a little bit before coming to the broken bridge (if you reach the bridge you have gone too far and must backtrack to where the climbing section ended).

#7+#8  – Cursed Chest 1/1 + Hat 1/6 (Bird’s Nest Hat)
When you meet the kids at the bridge instead of interacting with it, go to the right and find the chest there. Defeat the 4 enemies and you will be rewarded with a hat.

#9 – Flower Shrine 2/3
Can be found in the bow training area (Rusus’s Lookout fast travel point), close to the spot where you had your first target practice after obtaining the bow from Rusu. To reveal it, you need to first use a tear drop that’s on the path to the right of the Shrine. To get the Tear, shoot the blue crystal on the tree. Then use your rot on the Tear Drop to summon your spirit and use that to cleanse the shrine.

#10 – Rot 5/13
In the bow training area shoot the purple vase (hanging from tree) to reveal the Rot.

#11 – Hat 2/6 (Whirlyhat)
Granted for finding the Hat Store in Rusu’s Lookout (bow target practice) area.

#12 – Hat 3/6 (Rusu’s Mask)
Reward for finishing ALL 4 different Archery Challenges. The first 3 only have 1 phase each. But the 4th challenge (the one at the cliffside) consists of 3 phases which you must all complete. Rusu’s Mask will pop up in the top left corner of the screen after all Archery Challenges are complete in this area. 1st challenge starts by using the lever next to the Flower Shrine (shoot the small blue targets hanging from trees, after shooting the first one there will be white sparkles showing you the rest). 2nd challenge is from pulling lever in middle of area (shoot 4 big targets on tree). 3rd challenge by shooting the pots on the left side of the area (then shoot the 3 flying objects in the air). 4th challenge by pulling lever at the cliffside next to hat cart but must win this 3 times in a row (each time you must shoot flying objects, they change each try).

#13 – Meditation Spot 1/1
After lowering the bridge with your arrow, instead of going down the path to Rusu’s house, take the right, jump across the gap and use your bow to grapple to a ledge with the Meditation Spot.

#14-16 – Rot 6-8/13
3 Rots are granted automatically for defeating the Wood Knight (story-related, unmissable).

#17 – Rot 9/13
After defeating the Wood Knight check the drawer inside of Rusu’s House just in front of you.

#18+#19 – Rot 10/13 + Hat 4/6 (Flower Hat)
In the small water area with gears, there will be a Rot disguised as a flower running around, use the Pulse ability to stun it and catch it.

#20 – Flower Shrine 3/3
In the small water area with gears, shoot the crystal on the owl statue. Afterward, use the Rots to destroy the corruption on the left of it and keep destroying it until you reach the exit where the shrine will be.

#21 – Hat 5/6 (Feather Hat)
From where you found the previous Flower Shrine, jump up the ledge and use Rots to repair the gears, shoot the crystal to activate them. Jump over and around the corner to find a lift, use it and afterward pull yourself to the other side using the flower you have to shoot with your bow. There in a chest you will find the hat.

#22+#23 – Rot 11/13 + Hat 6/6 (Squash)
Next to Rusu’s House shoot the targets above the small waterwheel. Afterward activate the tear and use your Rot army to water the plants. Then use Pulse to free a Rot from the vegetable with butterflies flying around it.

#24 – Rot 12/13
Fast travel to the “Gorge” fast travel point, in the west of Rusu Mountain. In the area with the broken bridge use your bow to grapple to the small island on the map to find the Rot there.

#25 – Rot 13/13
From the “Gorge” fast travel point, swim in the river towards the waterfalls. To the left of the waterfalls is some land you can go on to find this Rot.
