Introduction
Welcome to the Judgment (Judge Eyes) Trophy Guide! Judgment is a new game by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, developer of the Yakuza game series. This is a spinoff of that series featuring similar gameplay and taking place in the same world, but with an all-new cast of characters and story unrelated to the main series. Trophies are similar to Yakuza 3 through 0, requiring you to earn 100% in game completion and complete the game on LEGEND difficulty in a second playthrough (though can be done in NG+). The game has a similar missable setup to Yakuza 0, with missable trophies every couple chapters related to doing specific things, then one game-spanning missable that you need to pay attention to from the start of a playthrough. Everything else though (including the 100%) isn’t missable and can be completed post story in free roam.
Step 1: Play through the story, getting missables during the main story, find Stray Cats
The first step is basically just finishing the story of the game. You can get all of the missables out of the way in this playthrough if you want to, or play blind and clean them all up in your LEGEND playthrough. You can do side content as it becomes available, or leave it until the end of the game, whichever choice you want. Aside from the missable story trophies and the cats everything is available to be completed in Premium Adventure. For the 100% in-game completion nothing is missable, as you can still do the required tasks in free roam after the story.
Also pay attention the 3 missable skill books for trophy “Skill Master” (Rush Training, Secret Technique: Reverse Beatdown, Secret Technique: Front Beatdown). Even though they can be bought if you miss them, they are very expensive, so it’s better to pick them up for free during the story.
» Judgment Skill Book Locations
Make sure you get all Stray Cats at the first opportunity because they are highly missable.
» Judgment Stray Cat Locations
If you’re unsure about any decision in the game, refer to the Walkthrough linked below, it’s written for 100% trophy completion and includes all missables and important choices. This will get you all missables in 1 playthrough:
» Judgment (Judge Eyes) Full Walkthrough – All Chapters
Missable trophies in chronological order:
- I’ll Make it Double (Chapter 2)
- Way Too Thorough! (Chapter 5)
- The Art of Conversation (Chapter 7)
- Professional Password Presenter (Chapter 8)
- Hung Jury (Chapter 12)
- The Final Nail (Finale)
- Oh Look, a Cat! (Spans entire game, is earned in Finale)
Step 2: Continue playing in Premium Adventure to earn 100% completion in KamuroGo
After the story is complete you can continue playing in Premium Adventure, which is just post-story free roam. All side content is available to complete mostly in any order you want at your leisure. Your goal for the 100% is to complete everything in the KamuroGo app in the pause menu, meaning complete all Shop and City Missions, befriend all 50 characters, and complete all 50 Side Cases.
Step 3: LEGEND difficulty in NG+ and earn any remaining missable trophies (if you didn’t in first playthrough)
LEGEND difficulty is unlocked when you complete the story once on any other difficulty, then can be started in NG+ by choosing NEW GAME then “Start a new game using clear data” from the main menu. This carries over all your skills, money, and items, which makes it much easier to do this playthrough. If you didn’t earn “Oh Look, a Cat!” in your first playthrough you will have to make sure to get every cat again during this playthrough to earn that trophy, as all cats must be spotted in one playthrough.

The Game is Afoot Retrieved the money from the Horseplayer Detective. |
||
Chapter 1: Three Blind Mice
After the second Search section where you can view the drone cam, make an immediate save. The next section consists of your introduction to chase sequences, then a one on one fight with the target you were chasing. You need to complete the chase sequences then win the fight against him to retrieve the money. The trophy pops after the next cutscene following the fight. |
||
Trust Issues Completed Chapter 2 |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you reach the save game screen following Chapter 2. |
||
I’ll Make it Double Doubled your chips at L’Amant. |
||
*Missable*
Chapter 2 After meeting Kaito in the Koi Bride shop and defeating the group of thugs you’ll be directed to go downstairs. After you are given the Key to L’Amant and the free 300 chips make a save. While you’re in the Casino waiting for your informant you need to double your chips (earn 300, so that you get to a total of 600). This has to be done during this section of the story, it can’t be done later. You also can only play one of the games (Poker or Blackjack) and once you stop playing either the story advances, so make a save when you’re in the Casino before starting either game, so if you lose too many chips you can start over. The choice between the two games is up to you. Poker you can win more quickly, but it’s against 3 people so you’re more likely to lose and you can’t bait the AI to fold that easily as there isn’t an option for All In. Blackjack is only you against the dealer and is a more basic win condition, but you can’t earn as many chips as quick. Poker was my personal preference. Note that if you do this trophy in NG+ you don’t actually need to double the amount of chips you start with (you keep all your chips from first playthrough when starting NG+) You just need to earn 300 more. |
||
Skeletons in the Closet Completed Chapter 4. |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you reach the save game screen following Chapter 4. |
||
Way Too Thorough! Fully investigated Terasawa. |
||
*Missable*
Chapter 5 This is earned when you are investigating in the ADDC in Yagami’s flashback. You are lead to the room of the original murder victim by a lady named Terasawa, and when you are in the room searching for clues you have to view 3 search spots on her as well. Note that this takes place in the past, so you don’t have the investigation skills such as the rumble when you’re near an investigation point. The aim of the trophy is to basically creep on her, by investigating her face, her chest, and her posterior. After you view all three of those spots and Yagami chides himself for staring and you earn the trophy. |
||
The Kansai Factor Completed Chapter 6. |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you reach the save game screen following Chapter 6. |
||
The Art of Conversation Entertained the customer flawlessly. |
||
*Missable*
Chapter 7 During Chapter 7 you’ll be getting Saori to go into a Hostess Club to get information about the murder victim you’re investigating. Make a save before you head into the hair salon, as you can’t save after this until you complete the next section, so need to do the whole thing over if you mess up. Once you’re inside the club you play as Saori engaging with customers. During the dialogue you need to make the following responses: First two customers: When speaking to the other hostess in the dressing room: With the next customer: If you did the above 4 dialogue choices with the customers correctly the trophy will be awarded immediately after making the final one. |
||
Blowing the Lid Off Completed Chapter 8. |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you reach the save game screen following Chapter 8. |
||
Professional Password Presenter Got the password right on the first try. |
||
*Missable*
Chapter 8 In Chapter 8 when going to the Gambling Hall to find Hamura, you are given a password by a man in L’Amant. When you go to the door in Champion District, respond in the following way (make a save before starting just in case you mess up). Three Times The trophy is awarded immediately after the third choice if you didn’t mess up any of them. |
||
Enemies of My Enemies Completed Chapter 10. |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you reach the save game screen following Chapter 10. |
||
Hung Jury Saved Suguira with less than 10 seconds left. |
||
*Missable*
Chapter 12 This trophy is earned in Chapter 12 when you’re inside the abandoned hotel looking for the secret lab. After Sugiura gets grabbed you’ll head into another room where two guys have him hanging from the ceiling. Once you enter they kick the bucket out from under his feet and you have 3 minutes to beat them, and for this trophy you have to do it when there’s 10 seconds or less left on the timer. The two guys aren’t overly dangerous, so your best bet is to defeat one (preferably the stronger guy) then chip the other guy’s health down a bit so you can take him out once the timer is at 10 seconds. You basically just want to run around the room once you have one guy left with low health trying to avoid the other. If he grabs you be very careful, your best is just letting him perform a throw, because when you do a grab escape by tapping you’ll damage the enemy slightly when you knock them away. Once the timer starts beeping and flashing red is when you want to knock the second guy out. If done correctly the trophy will be awarded immediately once the cutscene starts showing you untying Sugiura. |
||
Politics of Justice Completed Chapter 12. |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you reach the save game screen following Chapter 12. |
||
The Final Nail Present the right evidence to the judge on the first try. |
||
*Missable*
Chapter Finale During the court case in the Finale Chapter, you have to present all evidence correctly on the first try. Follow the choices below to present all the evidence correctly: It created cushy retirement positions. The trophy will be awarded right after making the above choice. |
||
Thank you! Completed all of the main story. |
||
Story related and cannot be missed.
This trophy is awarded once you finish the Finale Chapter and complete the main story. |
||
Detective of Legend Completed the game on LEGEND difficulty. |
||
LEGEND difficulty is unlocked once you complete the story on any other difficulty. It is the hardest difficulty in the game and disables retrying encounters during the story. When you fail, you have to reload your last save. It is recommended you wait until you have earned the trophy for 100%ing the game on your first playthrough, as you can do LEGEND in NG+ (New Game Plus) which carries over all your skills and items, allowing you to be as powerful as possible.
When playing through on LEGEND be sure to save often, as you must reload your save if you fail encounters, which can set you back quite a bit. |
||
On the Case Cleared 10 side cases. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you complete any 10 side cases out of 50.
Local Detective Cleared 30 side cases. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you complete any 30 side cases out of 50.
Got to the Bottom of It Cleared all of the side cases. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you complete all 50 side cases available in the game. Side Cases become available as you progress through the story and gain reputation level by befriending characters in the game. For the final two side cases you need reputation level 50, so you have to earn A Guy Everybody Knows before you are able to earn this trophy. This must also be done on one save, as doing NG+ resets your Side Case progress for that save.
A Friendly Guy Made 10 friends. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you have made any 10 friends out of the available 50.
A Popular Guy Made 30 friends. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you have made any 30 friends out of the available 50.
A Guy Everybody Knows Made 50 friends. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you have made all 50 available friends. You are introduced to the friend mechanic in the first chapter, then after that more friends become available to interact with as you progress the story. Some friends have simple requirements, such as just buying things at their store or speaking to them multiple times, whereas some have long chains of events to complete to befriend them and require completing most of the game. All friends are available after the story, so you don’t need to worry about doing any at certain points or missing them.
Going Steady A girl revealed her true feelings. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you complete the dating chain with 1 of the 4 available girls.
Ladies, Please Two girls revealed their true feelings. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you complete the dating chain with 2 of the 4 available girls.
Now You’re Just Bragging Four girls revealed their true feelings. |
||
This trophy is awarded once you complete the dating chain with all 4 of the available girls. Dating becomes available after you complete specific Side Cases related to the 4 girls in question, after which you will get them as contacts in your phone and you’ll either message them or they’ll message you to set up dates. You aren’t able to explicitly mess up the dates or lock yourself out of being able to go out with the girls. The game explains you can go on dates as much as you want, so if you wish you can do these without a guide and just choose the answers and gifts that you feel are best. Once you reach the next affection level each time you’ll advance to the next dating step. At the end of the dating chain each girl will reveal their feelings to you, which is what is actually required for this trophy, you can commit to being the boyfriend for as many of the girls as you like, there’s no actual penalty or overlap for doing this. When you are shown the unskippable cutscene following the final date is when each of the trophies will be awarded at 1, 2, and all 4 girls reaching that point.
Skill Dabbler Obtained 30 skills. |
||
This trophy is awarded for purchasing any 30 of the 126 available skills in the Skills app.
Skill Pro Obtained 60 skills. |
||
This trophy is awarded for purchasing any 60 of the 126 available skills in the Skills app.
Skill Master Obtained all skills. |
||
This trophy is awarded for purchasing all 126 of the available skills in the Skills app. From the start of the game you are able to see all skills and SP costs in the menu, but many will be locked. Some become available to purchase through story progression, while others becoming available after finding Skill Books or QR Codes around Kamurocho. Skills are purchased using SP, which is obtained from Story Objectives, Side Cases, defeating enemies, playing minigames, and drinking Hug Bomb drinks. None of the Skills or items to unlock skills are outright missable, but there are 3 Skill Books that are available during the story in locations you can’t get back to when you leave. If you miss picking up these books, they are made available later to purchase from Onodera in the Sewer once you meet him, but they cost SP to buy from him and are quite expensive, so you’re better of finding the books during the story and saving yourself SP.
Once you are post story and working on other content the fastest way to earn SP is to purchase the Hug Bomb drinks. Normal Hug Bomb is always available, but you will want to complete the Quickstarter funding for the next three tiers so that you can buy Hug Bomb Omega. This drink costs 140,000 Yen each time and gives 770 SP. Don’t worry about this until the very end of the game and you need more SP to clean up some remaining stuff, as you will need the money for other requirements until you can get the free pass for Paradise VR to play Dice and Cube as much as you want. |
||
KamuroGo Shopper Completed five stores in KamuroGo’s Shop Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing the requirements for any 5 shops listed in the KamuroGo app.
KamuroGo Trendsetter Completed 10 stores in KamuroGo’s Shop Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing the requirements for any 10 shops listed in the KamuroGo app.
KamuroGo Socialite Completed all of KamuroGo’s Shop Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing the requirements for all 34 shops listed in the KamuroGo app. The Shop Missions are completion requirements for the various locations you can do things at around Kamurocho. 22 of these are restaurants, where the only requirement is trying one of each of the available food items at each store. The remaining 12 are locations where you can participate in a variety of minigames, where the requirements for completion vary depending on each location and what you can do at each. Some locations aren’t available immediately, but they are all available to be completed after you have done the story.
If you view the Shops section of the app you can select each shop tile and it will list out all the requirements for each location. Once you complete all missions for a location the menu will display a gold crown in the top right corner of the menu image. For restaurants, the menu will display each item, and you can also see which you have purchased when at the store itself as there will be a red checkmark in a box in the food selection menu. Any menu items listed in the menu with “???” means it’s an item that’s not available yet, these are all made available after you befriend the shop owner for that location. After befriending Haoyu Xiu you are given a skill book which unlocks the Bottomless Stomach skill for purchase which allows you to eat food even when your health is full, but I wouldn’t recommend buying this until the end of the game if you still have restaurants to finish. Making sure to go to different ones each time I was able to finish all stores shortly after completing the story, so buying it early and spending a bunch of money on food when I didn’t need to would have been a waste of SP. For locations related to minigames, the menu will list your progress towards cumulative requirements, such as the number of dice thrown in Paradise VR. Any that require doing a list of things will display the list if you press while viewing the menu item. All requirements for these must be done at their specific location, the only exception to this is the Darts requirements listed under Club SEGA (Theater Square), where you can also do the requirements at the Dart Board in the bar Bantam. |
||
KamuroGo Tourist Completed 10 KamuroGo City Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing the requirements for any 10 City missions listed in the KamuroGo app.
KamuroGo Local Completed 30 KamuroGo City Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing the requirements for any 30 City missions listed in the KamuroGo app.
KamuroGo Guide Completed all KamuroGo City Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing the requirements for all 87 City missions listed in the KamuroGo app. City missions are ones that don’t have a specific location to do them in, such as all the ones related to combat or ones like total chips earned that can be done at multiple locations. Many have 3 levels to each, with increasing requirements and SP rewards at each level. Like the Shop missions any that are for a total will show your cumulative progress towards that, and any that require a list of things will display that list if you press over the menu item. All missions can be completed post story in Premium Adventure, but you should make an effort to work towards some as you go, such as enemies defeated using the two combat styles or using weapons or wall jumps.
Pawn Star Sold 100 items in Ebisu Pawn. |
||
This trophy is awarded for selling a total of 100 items at Ebisu Pawn. This is a store that’s in the alleyway just South of Yagami Detective Agency. Here you can sell any of the consumables, materials, or other assorted non0key items in your inventory. To earn this you can either wait to do it naturally or if you like you can just save beforehand, sell all the sellable items in your inventory, then reload your save.
Retail Therapy Shopped 100 times. |
||
This trophy is awarded for making 100 total transactions at the shops around Kamurocho, this doesn’t count at restaurants. Each time you exchange money counts as shopping one time, so if you want to get this out of the way or get to the end of the game and still haven’t earned it you can go to one of the Poppo locations and continually buy one item over and over until you earn the trophy. There isn’t a way to track how many transactions you’ve made though, so you’ll just have to keep buying items until the trophy is awarded.
The Bird’s the Word Controlled the drone for over an hour. |
||
You gain access to the drone midway through Chapter 1, then after that you’ll be able to pull it out by selecting the Drone app from your phone screen. For this trophy you just need to control the Drone for a total time of one hour, whether this is while flying it around in free roam, through story events, or in drone races. Between these 3 you will fly it for well over an hour before you earn 100% completion, so there shouldn’t be any need to idle for drone flying time.
Electronic Perspective Flew the drone in first person mode for 60 seconds. |
||
You gain access to the drone midway through Chapter 1 when you’re looking for someone inside a building. Once you gain control of the drone you can switch between 3rd or 1st person flight by clicking . Hit it once to switch to first-person view, then just stay in that view for a minute to earn this trophy.
Oh Look, a Cat! Found all the stray cats while in search mode during the main story. |
||
*Missable*
While in search / investigation mode you will occasionally find cats that you can inspect which will give a small amount of SP. You’ll know they are around because you can hear a fairly loud meowing until you spot them, at which point the meowing stops. This is HIGHLY MISSABLE. You must inspect all 14 Stray Cats during story events, and if you miss one you are locked out of the trophy for that playthrough. You have to find all 14 required ones in one playthrough, so you need to be very aware of looking for the cats during the story. Cats in Side Cases aren’t required for this trophy or 100% completion, but are still listed in the guide as they still give some SP. |
||
Zombie Apocalypse Survivor Obtained 50 pickups in Kamuro of the Dead |
||
Kamuro of the Dead is a minigame that you can play at the Club SEGA (Theater Square) location. It is a rail shooter more or less being a clone of the House fo the Dead games, also made by SEGA. During it you can find pickups that you can shoot, which are metal drums that give more grenades, or wooden crates that increase your health. For this trophy you have to shoot these a total of 50 times while playing the minigame. There isn’t a way to track how many you’ve shot, so you just need to keep playing through the minigame continually shooting the pickups until you’re awarded the trophy. There are 2 – 3 pickups in each of the 6 levels, so you have to play through the game a fair number of times to reach the required number. The trophy will be awarded during the minigame once you’ve shot your 50th pickup.
Drone Champion Won first place in every D-League race. |
||
You are introduced to Drone Racing during Chapter 2 of the story, then can participate in races and championships from the Drone League booth in the B1 level of the Millennium Tower. For this trophy you have to win all races in the Champion League, which is also required for the Shop Mission “Drone Conqueror”. Before each race make a save, then if you don’t come in first in that race reload your save and try again. You need to come in first in every race in this league in one go at it to earn the trophy and Shop Mission completion. If you mess up and can’t reload your save you have to start the Championship over (and you can replay it if you complete it).
For drone parts you want to get a lot of the high end ones, especially there ones you get access to by finding all of Sebastion Hutton’s QR codes. Below are the two setups I used for the Champion League. For races 1,2,6, and 7 which are on the fairly straight tracks you want as much speed as possible. Using the high cost/low durability SMZ frame so you can put the highest level speed parts in allows you to rip through these tracks quickly ahead of the other drones. You will likely also want to use this setup for the time trials, but those can be done in single race where the other drones aren’t as fast as the Champion League ones so getting bumped isn’t as big a deal. If you feel you can use this for all the races though then feel free, you are basically limited to two hard hits before your drone is toast though so it’s fairly difficult. For races 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 10 you’ll likely want to switch to the high level S-ONE frames, which offer the highest durability but a 50 point cost limit reduction from the SMZ frames. This means you can’t go as fast but you can afford getting bumped by the other drones or hitting a few obstacles if you’re not used to the tracks as much. You can very much get through the races with this setup, so will stop the need for reloading your save if you get knocked out trying it with the low durability setup. |
||
Drone Enthusiast Obtained all drone parts. |
||
Drone Parts are developed from the Drone Part booth in the B1 level of the Millenium Tower. All parts aren’t available to develop right away, you need to progress through the Drone League levels, captured all QR codes for Sebastion Hutton, and fund parts through Quickstarter to be able to make all parts. This is a gigantic money sink to do, so it’s highly recommended you don’t start making all drone parts until the very end of your 100% goals (making all parts is required for Shops missions for the Drone League booth). While working through the Drone League itself I would recommend just making the parts you need, recommendation being winning the first league then making the high-level ones you unlock from Sebastion to win the rest of the Leagues and races.
Yagami Party Completed all Dice & Cube courses and rules at Paradise VR. |
||
You are introduced to Dice & Cube during Chapter 3 of the story, after which you can play it at your leisure using Play Passes earned during the game. For this trophy you have to get to the end of each of the 6 Dice & Cube courses by reaching the final spot before running out of dice rolls. The courses and their unlock condition are as follows:
More play passes can be earned through various ways: they are dropped by enemies occasionally when knocked out, they are given when you complete Batting Center courses, and can be traded for at the Gambling prize counter for 1,000 Chips or Wood Tags. You also get a free play pass when you collect the 6 Free Pass Vouchers, which is required for a Shop Mission for Paradise VR (and is how you get money quickly once you are finished the game). |
||
The Gamer Life Played every arcade game. |
||
Arcade games can be found at the two Club SEGA locations in Kamurocho. You need to play each one of them one time to earn this trophy. The arcade games are as follows:
Club SEGA (Nakamichi St.)
Club SEGA (Theater Square)
|
||
He Just Doesn’t Quit Defeated the opponent in the side case, “A Final Request”. |
||
A Final Request is the last Side Case in the game that you will be able to complete. It is accepted from the board in the Yagami Detective Agency, and first requires completing all 49 other Side Cases, which has a prior requirement of befriending all 50 friends. Once you have done those things you are able to accept this Side Case, which involves fighting a character who will be familiar to people who have played prior RGG Studio games.
Pay Your Rent, Yagami Ate all of Tomioka-san’s homecooked meals. |
||
Tomioka-san is your landlady for the building the Yagami Detective Agency is in. You’ll meet her a few times and she’ll bug you about rent, as Yagami isn’t too good about paying it on time. Later you can meet her and gain her as a friend after eating at Smile Burger (Nakamichi St.). She asks you to try out her cooking for you as she wants to open a restaurant in one of the floors of the building, and Yagami agrees to give her feedback on the food in exchange for a break on rent. She puts food in the fridge in your office, and you’ll have to go back regularly and eat it then give her feedback. After you’ve raised her friendship to maximum she’ll continually put more food in there that you can eat at any time to raise your health and give SP. You need to eat 5 different types of food at this point, which are as follows:
The food that is in the fridge is random, so you’ll have to keep going back to your office and eating the food regularly until you get all 5 types of food. Once you eat the last one you’ll be awarded the trophy. |
||
KamuroGo Master Achieved 100% completion in KamuroGo. Wow! |
||
This trophy is effectively the last trophy you will earn aside from LEGEND completion or missables, as it is awarded for completing everything in the game shown in the KamuroGo app and reaching 100% completion. This means you will earn this after earning the following trophies:
Once you have all of the following and can see you have a Complete Total of 100% in the KamuroGo app you’ll earn this trophy. |
SpeeCas says
Thank you so much for doing this one, guys. I was hoping against hope that you would! I rely on you guys for this stuff!
Extractioner says
Thank you very much for the guide Powerpyx! Can’t wait to platinum this awesome game! 🙂
FierceViper82 says
If Mahjong and Shogi are required for 100 % completion its higher than 4/10 unless you understand how too play them.
Gage says
Shogi you can cheat using a phone or computer app. Mahjong I’ve never played before and got some of the harder requirements and the Friend requirement done in 2 hours of messing around with it last night, it’s not that hard to figure out.
Greidis says
The challenges for puyo puyo and virtual fighter 5: showdown is much more harder. Especially puyo puyo where you need to defeat all characters is insane unless you are a natural in this games. In vf5 you need to actually beat Dural which is really hard if uou never played before. Definitely not 4/10. You spend more than 10 hours only on those 2 challenges and no guaranteed you will beat puyo puyo.
Greidis says
Just found out that you need 23 streak in poyu poyu for last character to appear and it’s not guaranteed cause every next opponent is random rolled
No way says
Wow, wave 23 or more for last opponent? I dunno what the devs where thinking. Majority of minigames list is fair and manageable but this one for Puyo Puyo is the definition of insanity. I can barely get 3 victories.
Greidis says
After 15 hours of trying i’ve done it.
20 streak info was wrong btw.Last character (Ramune or something like that) only appears for me in 35th win, this was totally insane. It’s random but i believe she starts to appear only after 30 wins. I used 3 column wall method and a lot of practice. When match starts you should hold DOWN+RIGHT on your Dpad until you build 3 columns. After that only start thinking about connecting colors, try to match colors to the colors of puyo in the bottom of first two towers and drop it a little and there is a chance that this will trigger chain combo. Don’t take to long you should be hyper offensive or some AI will make huge combos and destroy you (like this damned fish guy whose AI is insane for some reason, if you give him a minute to build huge stairs you are done for, bear is dangerous af too.)
Also i believe AI difficulty is tied to what character you play (based on comments from puyo puyo forums). For example if you choose Ramune or Wich they will destroy you. Even the easiest AI will be moving puyos like crazy. So to be safe choose always Girl with plushy doll (Airie or something like that)
Marcus Lundgren says
Everyone keeps talking about the insane Puyo Puyo challenge.
Well, where is it? All I can see is that you need 30 wins to complete the challenge. And I did that in one go, no problem.
And I don’t know if the game means that you need 30 wins in a row or in total, because I just kept playing until I got bored, and when I quit, I noticed that I’d finished all 3 challenges for the game.
But is that it? Or do you get a harder challenge from one of the friends or something?
Gage says
Beating all rivals, which normally requires getting to 30 wins to get the final two to have shown up. Lots of people playing won’t have experience with Puyo, so it seems pretty daunting starting out, especially if you get slammed by the AI right away when you’re not sure what to do.
FierceViper82 says
I Wish they kept it like Yakuza 6 not too difficult too platinum.
No way says
Oh man i really wished that as well. Just looking at the completion list puts me down. Will just enjoy the story on this one and forget the plat.
Junior says
My trophies of judgment are not sync they pop up, but dont apear in the list
PowerPyx says
Trophy list isn’t live on Sony Servers yet. Once they add it you can sync (the trophies you earn now can still be synced once list is live, nothing gets lost).
DantoriusD says
Hey,
Where do i find the Free Voucher for VR Dice? I got 1 from Batting Cage i think. 2 From the Guy in the Sewer and 3 from the La Amour Casino. Where are 4-6?
Gage says
Two are from the two prizes counters in Dragon’s Palace, the last one is for winning the final Drone League tournament.
No way says
Oh well, i love the Ryu Ga Gotoku games, even got plat on some of them. But for the sake of my mental health i will not go for 100% on this one. I really not into Puyo Puyo and some other annoying minigames.
Chekov says
6 is an incredibly conservative estimate in terms of difficulty. The ludicrous Puyo Puyo requirements alone make this at least an 8 and beyond the reach of anyone who doesn’t have a Kasparov tier talent for the game.
Jake says
I agree, i was looking forward to get the platinum. But when i saw Puyo Puyo and “defeat all characters” completion i lost the all my desire. They could tweak the difficulty or make the completion a less punishing, but i doubt it will ever happen. If i knew a master on Puyo Puyo i would probably pay him or her to get that for me.
Rayan S says
How can I cheat in Shogi? What is the app i need to use. The guide mentions using an app AI to win easily. So, what’s the app and how can use its AI to cheat.
Gage says
The app I downloaded on android is called “Shogi Free – Japanese Chesse” by Cross Field Inc. Any app that you can set AI difficulty and choose starting side will work though, then you just play the console AI as your moves on the app, and play the app AI as your moves on the console.
Rayan S says
Thank you
Mendoza rerrreee says
I little late but there is an in game ai that you can buy from onodera.
linetto says
Thanks!
Will you write the guide for the game “The Sinking City”?
Gage says
Two of the other guys are working on that, should be up in the next week.
Dragonsss says
The Game is Afoot is NOT missable. If you fail the chase or the fight you get a GAME OVER and must to reload checkpoint.
Naruto says
Why is “The Game is Afoot” is missable? Even if you fail the chase sequence you get to the detective and the game forces to win the fight.
John says
Does anyone know how to unlock the puzzle shogi? I can’t seem to unlock it.
Gage says
You fund the shogi board through quickstarter then go give it to the homeless guys in Children’s Park.
Chad Billingsly says
Also for puyo puyo try not to play as a character you haven’t beaten yet, I’m pretty sure you cant do mirror matches. Definitely use the three tower method, I made it to the final rival at level 27 or 28(cant really remember, my eyes were melting at that point). I had no idea how to play the game when I started but that method came through for me although you will need some practice and some luck. Vf5 is mostly easy as it seems to be set to a lower difficulty but for dural I would suggest starting the fight with a block and alternating between overwhelming her with punches and kicks then blocking when your combos run out. Look out for the fighting vipers game as well. The ai in that game seem much less forgiving although the combat is basically the same as vf5. Good luck to everyone and thanks for the awesome guide!
Marcus Lundgren says
Japanese games are always easy to beat, but their trophies are so needlessly complicated! It’s almost like they have us do the craziest things as a joke.
Which is fine But missable trophies are not.
Why can’t they just put up some sort of disclaimer if you fail?
Something, like: “Are you sure you’re happy with that? Try again?”
Starting over from the beginning because you missed ONE CAT is cruel
IxXFinnyXxI says
Hmm, you think you’ll be able to cheese by hosting a private stream on youtube,then pausing your game and then pauseing your youtube stream to strategize your moves?
IxXFinnyXxI says
For Puyo Puyo?
Gage says
Getting to around 30 wins already takes 20 – 30 minutes playing normal, doing that would make it take hours.
Thomas2400 says
I’m having no look with the champion league drone races, even using all the mods from the qr friendship side mission I can’t keep up with first place in the first race
This there a way to make it easier or something I’m missing can’t imagine how im going to finish 1st in all 10 races at this rate
John says
The only recommendation that I can give you is after every wins, you back out and save, so if you are not the 1st place on the next race, you can still load and try again.
John says
Can anyone help with the drone speed attack? I’m stuck on both the pipeline and pipeline reverse.
Thomas2400 says
I managed to finish them all off after hours of frustration, those two where the hardest for me
The only bit of advice I can give is to keep practising after a while I was taking corners a fraction of a second faster because I knew where all the obstacles would be
If damage is the problem there is DLC drones available that offer better durability
Just keep at it though you’ll get them eventually, the annoying thing for me now is having to build all the drone parts for the drone lab completion when I have no need for them as they are worse than what I already have
cannonball says
This definitely feels like one of the harder RGG games to platinum. I understand why the difficulty is 6/10 when based on actual game play. But it doesn’t feel accurate when you need to grind a multitude of activities in order to gain supplies for others. What criteria goes into making the rating for these guides?
Thanks in advance.
Gage says
Grinding isn’t difficult, and it’s not particularly long in this once you get to end of the game where you actually do the grinding. Unless it’s grinding for hundreds of hours or grinding something actually difficult then I rate solely off gameplay elements.
Yukino says
I think the trophy “Retail Therapy” might be glitched or you have to back out of the shop menu and buy one item 100 times over the course of the game.
I really feel after 80 hours i would have made 100 purchases. I know for a fact I’ve made a ton of bulk purchases.
Gage says
That’s what it is, making 100 transactions so that you exchange money and it exits you out of the shop menu.
Jokke says
Exactly. Buying for example five items in one transaction counts as one for “Retail Therapy”.
But are you sure that eating in restaurants also counts on this? Was almost completed with every eating/drinking locations (about 240/288 portions) and still had to buy 30+ items. Since on vast majority of my visits to restaurants did consume only one item per time, seems that this doesn’t quite add up.
Gage says
That would make sense actually, probably only counts the actual stores and not restaurants.
kuro says
i need someone to do puyo puyo for me..
Thomas2400 says
Have you tried the 3 towers technique? It’s easier to search the technique on YouTube than is for me to explain but I got all the puyo puyo challenges in about 30 minutes using it
LadyX555 says
Could someone help with Puyo Puyo, this awful mini-game is driving me insane!
Thomas2400 says
Does anyone know how long it takes for new GA labs quickstarters to show up? I’ve just done the 8th one and aside from a few combat challenges I’m pretty much done with the city missions
Gage says
Final two seems to take quite a while. I was playing for a couple hours after completing the 9th one and resting multiple times before it showed up.
Asuka says
Yumi: Wii need I fou Shop Missions AKA Yurika Tachibana
WhiteRaito says
People said the legend difficulty can be cheesed using 2nd save data prior to the Trial on the Finale. Is it true? because if possible i dont want to waste like 20 hrs.
Gage says
No, you can only do it when starting a new game.
And redoing the story in NG+ takes maybe 5 hours.
Kaz says
“6/10” for difficulty is a total bullshit considering how hard Puyo Puyo is to beat. I have platinum trophy in games like Vanquish, Max Payne 3 or Devil May Cry 5 and honestly this shitty mini-game in Judgment is harder to beat than any of these. Very misleading rating, for the Puyo Puyo alone it should be 9/10 or at least 8/10.
Marcus Lundgren says
It’s really not that hard at all. As long as you keep building 3 stacks of block on the right side of the field, and keep building them when they go down, all you have to worry about is making combos elsewhere.
Before I knew what to do, I only lasted half a minute before it was game over. But by using this method, I won against 40 opponents in a row before I got bored and decided to quit. And you only need to win 23 times.
Amelie91 says
Hello,
if I made a wrong answer choice during one of the main mission can I still have the platinum or do I have to reload my save?
Thank you very much for your work.
Gage says
Outside of the ones specifically related to the missable trophies it doesn’t matter.
Archy says
Definitely not a 6/10…puoy puoy is easy. Drone races on the other hand is a right pain
Dante Ishimura says
Ater 25 hours alone on Puyo Puyo, I have to disagree that Puyo Puyo is easy. The RNG in which the AI can just spawn colours it wants for itself is beyond cheap. People that succeed with this do so with around 80% luck being on there side.
It’s completely wrecked my completion streak unfortunately.
David says
very good i like it thanks
luckyegg says
the ultimate battle pack makes you really overpowered in the game maybe you can mention that in ur guide.
Dante Ishimura says
Thanks for the guide and pic locations. Very well done, Powerpyx. I, like many am struggling with Puyo Puyo and have only got to round 24 once in 25 hours on this mini game alone.
After reading your advice, you says its in your interest to lose after 25 wins. Is this because the next time you play Rulue will appear much sooner? I saw a vid where she appears on round 12 but not sure if thats because the gamer beat her during his/her best run, or they simply reached 25 wins + and this is what unlocks her.
shahin says
puyo puyo,How can it be made easier?
Can 100% be achieved without considering this?
Ak2 says
On PS5 there is no PUYO PUYO but i find fighting games much more challenging. Thats the hardest plat i think i got making it the hardest plat from yakuza games&spinoffs (I still yet to play Lost Judgement)
Ak2 says
Beating Virtua Fighter 2 and Vipers took me like 6 hours. Gotta say because of them i really dislike the Judgement game… even tho story is great.
