Judgment Chapter 2 Walkthrough

This Judgment (Judge Eyes) walkthrough will guide you through all the main choices of Chapter 2 for 100% completion.

Chapter 2 Choices

At the start of the chapter you’ll be talking to Kaito at one of the prior crime scenes. Select any dialogue to him, it doesn’t matter which you pick. You’ll then have to head over to the location of the second crime scene.

Active Search: In the location of the second serial murder “Investigate where the corpse was found.”
First find the cat for this chapter, it’s on the left side from the entrance, on the ledge above the yellow crates

Then search the bags on the left side, just under the location of the cat

Next, search the small sparkle on the ground just to the right of the garbage bags. You won’t find anything useful, but then a masked man will go by who’s being chased by the police and grab your phone. You need to chase him down to get it back. Once you do Kaito will text you to let you know he got in touch with Ayabe, and he’ll let you know when he’s ready. In the meantime you need to head over to the Law Office to speak with Genda.

Before you get anywhere you’ll be stopped by a homeless man in the park, who wants you to go to the sewers to find a doctor for his friend. When you get there tell him “Kondo is calling for you”, and you’ll head back over and the doctor will help him out, then you’ll have access to Moroboshi’s services in the sewer. He will heal your mortal wounds, and you can buy health kits from him that let you do that on your own. Now you can head over to speak to Genda.

You’ll be introduced to side cases here, and you’ll be given one to help a woman find out if her husband is cheating on her. Head over to the marked location on the map, then you’ll have to tail the man to his destination. He’ll pick up a woman, then you’ll be tasked with taking a photo of them as evidence of his infidelity. Wait for them to get over to the entrance to the hotel, then get close and snap a picture of them that fulfills all the conditions on the side when they are entering the hotel. You’ll then have to tail the woman for a bit to find out who she is. Once you finish that you’ll be back at your office, and the side case will be complete. At that point you are able to accept cases from the board in your office or by speaking with Saori at Genda Law Office.

Head outside and you’ll be stopped by Kim Won-Soon, who is being harassed by a gang. They’ll come over and attack you too, and you will have to deal with them. The game will then introduce you to the threat mechanic, where you’ll be attacked by the Keihen gang at certain points. After you leave the restaurant after speaking with Kim some drones will go by, and you’ll have to head over to the front of Millennium Tower. There a man will tell you about drone racing, which you can then participate in from the counter in the Millennium Tower lobby. Kaito then gives you a call, and asks you to meet him over at Koi Bride.

Speak to him inside, then you’ll be attacked by a group of thugs. The man at the counter reveals it was a test to make sure you were good to enter L’Amant, which is a casino hidden in the basement of the shop. Head down there, and press to use that key on the door.

MISSABLE –   I’ll Make it Double – Double your chips at L’Amant.

After meeting Kaito in the Koi Bride shop and defeating the group of thugs you’ll be directed to go downstairs. You are given a free 300 chips while you’re in the Casino waiting for your informant, and you need to double your chips for this trophy (earn 300, so that you get to a total of 600). This has to be done during this section of the story, it can’t be done later. You also can only play one of the games (Poker or Blackjack) and once you stop playing either the story advances, so make a save when you’re in the Casino before starting either game, so if you lose too many chips you can start over.

The choice between the two games is up to you. Poker you can win more quickly, but it’s against 3 people so you’re more likely to lose and you can’t bait the AI to fold that easily as there isn’t an option for All In. Blackjack is only you against the dealer and is a more basic win condition, but you can’t earn as many chips as quick. Poker was my personal preference.

Note that if you do this trophy in NG+ you don’t actually need to double the amount of chips you start with (you keep all your chips from first playthrough when starting NG+) You just need to earn 300 more.

Once you’ve earn the correct amount you can exit the game, and you’ll go over and speak to Ayabe. He’ll give you the info you were requesting, then you’ll have to head back over to the Detective Agency. Once you get outside you’ll be attacked by a group of masked me with baseball bats before you can enter your office. After you beat them head inside, then interact with the case file on your desk to examine it. You’ll then have to head over to a business named Konban Wife to get more information.  At the counter select the shortest duration, and Kanae-Chan. Some story events will happen, then you’ll have to head over to the Matsugane Family office.

Head inside and go speak to Matsugane in his room in the corner. You’ll then need to head over to Cafe Alps to meet with Hamura. You’ll get taken out in the back alley, where you’ll have to fight a bunch of thugs, with a small boss fight after you defeat the first guy. Once the fight is over you’ll be in a chase sequence, escaping the thugs chasing you. After you complete the chase, the chapter will end.
