Immortals Fenyx Rising Trophy Guide & Roadmap

December 3, 2020 by DK 93 Comments

Immortals Fenyx Rising Trophy Roadmap

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 40-50 Hours
  • Offline Trophies: 51 (1trophy, 2trophy, 10trophy, 38trophy)
  • Number of missable trophies: 0 – if you make a save before the final dungeon (Point of No Return – the game will notify you when this happens). So be sure to make a Manual Save when the game warns you of the Point of No Return. Technically, “Look, No Hands!” could also be missed if you’ve already completed all Vaults (they close after finding all items in them), but this trophy should come naturally before then.
  • Glitched trophies: There are reports of basically any trophy potentially glitching out, but they are isolated and rare cases (most players have no issues). There isn’t one trophy that is more bugged than another, some can just be bugged at random. If you don’t get a trophy for some reason, try reinstalling the game and redoing the trophy requirement.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, can do everything on the easiest difficulty
  • Minimum Playthroughs: 1
  • Free-Roam / Level Select after Story?: No – must make a Manual Save before the final boss (Point of No Return) to go back. Then reload the save after the story to return to Free Roam. The game will warn you of the Point of No Return when you reach it.
  • Release Date: December 03, 2020

Introduction

Welcome to the Immortals Fenyx Rising Trophy Guide! The greek mythology in a less serious story than God of War. You are Fenyx, a shield-bearer who ends up having to save gods from the evil Typhon in a story told in a comedic way.

Gameplay is a mixture of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Zelda Breath of the Wild. It doesn’t matter if you do story first, side stuff afterward or switch between those 2 by clearing each region first – play however you want. The only things to look out for are to find all loot in 22 of the Vaults of Tartaros and to make a Manual Save before the Point of No Return (before the final boss, the game will warn you that you can’t go back after this point).

Here are some general gameplay tips before you start:

  • Always collect all chests in a Vault of Tartaros – you will have to do that in at least 22 of them for a challenge in the game and also find all loot in the Arena Vaults, so start early.
  • Think outside the box – even though you only have a double jump doesn’t mean you can only jump twice – you can use the :l1: + :x: skill to add more height to your jumps when you have enough stamina for it.
  • Aphrodite’s area is a good starting point, but afterward it’s really up to you where to go.

Step 1: Finish the Story (Any Difficulty) & Make Manual Save before Point of No Return

In Immortals Fenyx Rising you can do everything in whatever order you like. Your main priority should be the Story. You can already start working on all the other side tasks and Collectibles as you go through the game, but for some of them you might not have enough Stamina on the first visit. You can still return to all regions later.
It’s recommended to play on the easiest difficulty. The game is still enjoyable on easy and it eliminates fall damage which will make traversing the climbing sections more enjoyable.

While the amount of items on the map looks overwhelming at first, you actually don’t have to finish everything on it. Only about 90% is needed for platinum.

The following item types are only partially needed:

  • Ambrosia (needed to fully upgrade Health): You don’t have to collect all of the Ambrosia on the map. There is more of it than actually needed.
  • Vaults of Tartaros: Only 25 are needed for trophy trophy Hades’s New Neighbor. However, you will have to find all the loot in 22 of them for a Hermes Challenge (trophy More than Twelve Labours) and also you will have to find all loot in the Arena Vaults which are marked on the Collectibles Map below.
  • Chests: Not all Chests are required but you should try to open as many as you can anyway since you will need a lot of resources for upgrades.

Keep in mind there is no free roam after the story! The game will let you know when you are about to enter the final dungeon, which is the point of no return. The game will ask if you want to create a save for that, so do it. After defeating the boss you can reload that save and continue before the final dungeon. (There is nothing in the dungeon you need, except for the trophy for beating the game)

Step 2: Collectibles & Cleanup

If you made a Manual Save before the Point of No Return, reload it after the final boss and finish up anything you still have left. See the Collectible Map below for the items you need.

Collectible Map

This Collectible Map contains the following items needed for trophies:

  • Mounts (Green Star)
  • Mystical Creatures needed for Phoenix Skins / Phosphor Skins (Orange Star) – only 12 are found in the world, the rest comes from Story & Hermes Challenges
  • Arenas (A)
  • Mythical Bosses (MB)
  • Night Chests (NC)
  • Wraith Lairs (WL)
  • Lieutenants (Purple Star) – needed for Wings

Bird’s-Eye View
Unfog the whole map.
The map can be unfogged by using the sync points in each region. All but one you will visit automatically during the story progression. The final one at Gates of Tartaros is located at the southern peak of the volcano.
Tippy-Top
Reach the highest point on the island.
After fighting your brother, climb to the peak of the location of the boss battle to get this trophy (can return there at any time after the fight via fast travel).
The Floor is Lava
Glide a total of 1,000 meters in one go.
You will need 2 things for this trophy: a high starting point and a lot of stamina. You can get this trophy by starting from Hephaistos’ statue and gliding towards the canyon area. You will either need about 10 stamina bars or a bunch of stamina potions. You will also have to unlock the skill “Glide Boost” which lets you glide faster with less stamina consumption by holding :square: .
Oceancookie
Tame an Epic mount.
See Fenyx the Horseman below.
Among the Stars
Solve a Constellation Myth Challenge.
In order to finish a constellation you will have to collect blue marbles in the area surrounding it and place them in the correct holes on the board, shown on a mural next to it. You will run across one automatically early in the game, additionally the blue marbles will be marked on your map when getting close to them, so you will know what to look for. The marbles are usually very closeby within 100 meters of the constellation.
Fenyx the Horseman
Tame all mounts.
In order to tame a mount you will have to approach it slowly with :circle: and then press :x: button to tame it. There is a total of 25 mounts in the game.

See the Collectible Map at the start of the Trophy Guide where they are marked with green stars.

To Good Health
Fully upgrade your Health.
You will need Ambrosia in order to upgrade your health. Luckily you can simply get to a high location and hold :r3: to start scouting mode. This allows you to mark stuff on your map with :r2: – it lets you mark Ambrosia as well. You will also be granted Ambrosia as reward for tasks in the Hall of Gods. There is more Ambrosia in the game than you need.
Projectile Pro
Defeat a flying enemy with any thrown object.
With :l1: + :triangle: you can grab objects and throw them with :r2: . Grab a small rock and throw it at a flying enemy.
C-C-C-Combo
Reach the final Combo stage.
You will need to finish Ares’ questline first since one of his blessings unlocks the final combo stage needed for the trophy. You will need a total of 84 hits in a combo to reach it, which sounds difficult at first but is very easy once you upgrade all your skills. To reach 84 hits all you have to do is basically spam :l1: + :square: for Athena Dash and you will get a ton of hits by doing that alone. Can be done basically everywhere against any type of enemy because you get very high hit counts with fully upgraded skills.
Your Own Medicine
Defeat an enemy with their own projectile.
By pressing :r1: + :l1: at the same time you can parry attacks as well as projectiles. Parry a projectile to kill an enemy with it.
It’s A Bird!
Perform a 25 hit combo while in air.
First you’ll want to fully upgrade your abilities, which makes it very easy to gain more hits. Then use :l1: + :triangle: to pull yourself up to a flying enemy and spam :l1: + :square: for easy hits.
Look, No Hands!
Defeat 10 enemies using traps inside the Vaults of Tartaros.
*Potentially Missable – if you already completed all Vaults*

Some Vaults of Tartaros will be fighting arenas with traps. You will have to lure enemies to traps to have them killed with it. The pressure plates with spikes work perfectly for it.

Odds are this will come naturally, but it is technically missable if you’re already completed all Vaults. The problem is that the Vaults close after finding all items in them. While items remain in a Vault you can still re-enter, but after finding everything in the Vaults they close and cannot be revisted.

Wraithless in Battle
Defeat a Wraith.
You will encounter a Wraith automatically during Aphrodite’s questline. Once you defeat a shade of Wraith its lair will unlock and you can enter it just like any other Vault of Tartaros in order to fight the Wraith.
Ornithology
Acquire all Phoenix skins.
12 Phoenix skins are obtained by defeating the Legendary Monsters (Mystical Creatures) in free roam. The rest comes automatically from the Story and Hermes Challenges. See the Collectible Map at the start of the Trophy Guide for the 12 Open World Locations.
Wing Nut
Acquire all Wings.
Wings are obtained by defeating lieutenant bosses in the free roam. See the Collectible Map at the start of the Trophy Guide.

Also, a set of wings called “Wings of Dawnlight Revels” is given to you after completing all Fresco Challenges and visiting Ikaros’ Workshop.

Who’s the Boss?
Defeat the Mythical Monster bosses.
For this you need to defeat all Mythical Monster bosses. They are marked on the Collectible Map at the start of the guide.
Hades’s New Neighbor
Complete 25 Vaults of Tartaros.
Vaults are mini-dungeons. Each one is unique and different. Some have puzzles, some are more focused on combat, and some are more about traversal mechanics. For example, doing little puzzles, shooting arrows, evading lasers etc.

There are far more than 25 in the game. In order to reveal Vaults on the map use the scout mode by holding :r3: and press :r2: to mark them.

Don’t Shoot the Messenger
Meet Hermes.
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
Shard Miner
Destroy 10 Shards Clusters.
While traversing the world keep your eyes open for small cristal clusters which you can destroy with melee attacks. They will grant you currency according to their color.
Armed and Dangerous
Fully upgrade everything at the Forge of Hephaistos.
You will need a lot of resources for fully upgrading everything. Blue currency is obtained from every chest in the game and in battles. The other colors (yellow, red, purple) come from the different types of chests – normal chests, epic chests, and chests that have a riddle you have to solve first. Additionally, you can destroy the crystal shards in the world while traversing through it. It is a bit of a grind, but nothing difficult.

In order to reveal Chests on the map use the Scout Mode by holding :r3: and press :r2: to mark them.

Moonlight Treasure
Open a Night Chest.
Some chests only appear at night. Hold down the Options-Button :opt: to rest. This will change the time to night. Find a night chest on your map (moon icon) and kill the enemies next to it to unlock it. You will have to find all of them for a task of Hermes anyway – see the Collectible Map at the start of the Trophy Guide.
Toot or Boot?
Equip a matching helmet and armor.
You will unlock a lot of different armor throughout the game. Just compare helmets and armor for the same set name and equip them both.
From the Ashes
Find Phosphor.
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
Not Too Close to the Sun
Equip new Wings.
You will unlock new wings by defeating lieutenants throughout the world map. Simply equip one of them. See Collectible at start of Guide for their locations.
Servant to the Gods
Complete the gods’ side questlines.
Each god will give you a task once you have freed them. Finishing them all will grant you this trophy. Those side missions are always marked on your map, so nothing you can miss.

These are the questlines you must complete for the trophy:

1. Saving Our Hides (Quest Giver: Aphrodite, after freeing her)
2. Ozo-Meanie (Quest Giver: Athena, after saving her / defeat Mythical Boss Ozomene)
3. Hot Pot / Pot Ajar / Pay-Bagock (Quest Giver: Ares, after freeing him)
4. Dark Arts, Forged Friendship and Spring Hope Eternal (Quest Giver: Hephaistos, after freeing him).

One Chore Down
Complete a task from Hermes’s Heroic Tasks Board at the Hall of the Gods.
See “More Than Twelve Labours” below.
More than Twelve Labours
Complete 36 tasks from Hermes’s Heroic Tasks Board.
Tasks are divided into 4 categories:

  • Elimination – defeat a certain number of enemies.
  • Vault of Tartaros – challenges for completing Vaults in total, clearing Vaults of all the loot and similar
  • Exploration – finding crates and other loot
  • Island Activities and Heroic Tasks – finishing challenges like arrow shooting, music challenges etc.

You can check your tasks on the Board in the Hall of the Gods. Sometimes a challenge will count retroactively if you finished the task already and sometimes it won’t depending on the challenge.

Important locations like Arenas and Night Chests are marked on the Collectible Map at the start of the Trophy Guide.

Toil and Trouble
Craft your first Potion.
There are 4 types of potions in the game which can be crafted. Your first opportunity for it will be during your first Hall of the Gods visit. Approach the cauldron and choose whichever ingredients you want to use for a potion.
Potion Professional
Fully upgrade the Potion tree.
You will need a LOT of Golden Ember for this. All the normal chests have 3 of those. Also pay attention to trees. The ones with a glowing ring at the bottom will reveal an Ember once cut down.
Powered Up
Fully upgrade the Godly Powers tree.
You will have to finish all the Challenges like Running, Constellations etc. in the game anyway (for trophy More than Twelve Labours). Those will always give you coins you can trade for skills. There are way more coins in the game than actually needed so don’t worry about missing it.
Show Your Moves
Fully upgrade the Skills tree.
You will have to finish all the Challenges like Running, Constellations etc. in the game anyway (for trophy More than Twelve Labours). Those will always give you coins you can trade for skills. There are way more coins in the game than actually needed so don’t worry about missing it.
Weapon Master
Fully upgrade one weapon to its final tier.
You will need a lot of resources to fully upgrade a weapon. Blue currency is obtained from every chest in the game and in battles. The other colors (yellow, red, purple) come from the different types of chests – normal chests, epic chests and chests that have a riddle you have to solve first. Additionally you can destroy the crystal shards in the world while traversing through it. It is a bit of a grind, but nothing difficult.

In order to reveal Chests on the map use the Scout Mode by holding :r3: and press :r2: to mark them.

Join the Creed
Perform 10 Stealth Attacks.
Sneak behind an enemy and press :triangle: for a stealth attack. Do this for a total of 10 times.
Fully Charged
Fully upgrade your Stamina.
In order to upgrade your stamina will have to collect Zeus’ Lightning. Each Vault of Tartatos has one as a reward at the end of it. Additionally, you will be able to find one in each of the bigger Story-based Vaults and get some as rewards for tasks from the Task Board in the Hall of the Gods.
Down in Flames
Complete Phosphor’s questline.
Rescuing Phospor is necessary as part of Athena’s questline but it can also be done earlier if you manage to get close to the quest location. Once Phospor has been saved you will have to finish a series of quests for him for this trophy. All the quests will be marked on map so nothing you can miss.
Last Hero Standing
Defeat all Wraiths in their lairs.
The first wraith will attack you during Aphrodite’s questline. The others will attack you close to the Gates of Tartaros when traversing the map. Once a shade is defeated you can enter its Vault. See the Collectible Map at the start of the guide for their locations.
Beauty’s in the Eye
Change your appearance at the Hall of the Gods.
Approach the barber chair in the Hall of Gods and change any part of your appearance for the trophy.
Photobomb
Take a photo.
Press :l3: and :r3: at the same time to start photo mode and take a picture with :x: .

For Who’s the Boss, check the Collectible Map at the start of the guide for the “Mythical Bosses” (MB) marked in black. Defeat all of them, it should pop after that.

For Servant to the Gods, only the questlines given by the gods matter. Hidden quests are not needed. Might be bugged.

I was able to get “Look, No Hands!” in one of the Live Task. Specifically the one titled “High-Strung”. It puts you in a timed challenge vault where you can only use your bow to attack enemies and activate traps. Could be an alternative way to get the trophy if all vaults have been close.

Even though I have written it in the guide, I dont consider the trophy as missable personally. The enemies are so incredibly dumb in the vault arenas, they will run into the traps on purpose, I got it in my very first arena.

Servant to the Gods is not unlocking for me. I believe I’ve done every side quest as I’ve finished the story and there are no more mission icons on the map. I’ve exhausted all dialogue of the Gods. I had to speak to Athena to get her quest to kill the mythical beast, did that thinking that’d be it and nope??

    ’Wing Nut’
    Hi,
I wonder if the Trophy is glitched or if I’m actually missing a Wing?
I have 15 Wings and with those is the Wings of Dawnlight Revels from Ikaros’ Workshop included.

    The Wings I have:
    Blazing Wings
    Broken Wings
    Ravishing Wings
    Sharp-Fire Wings
    Smoldering Wings of Zeus
    Spark of Genius Wings
    Wings of Daidalos
    Wings of Dawnlight Revels
    Wings of Ikaros
    Wings of Moonlight Revels
    Wings of Vanity
    Wings of Zeus
    Wings of the Dreadful
    Wings of the Hideous
    Wings of the Monstrous

Will also add that Wings of the Dreadful didn’t ”drop” first time I killed that Lieutenant. I got the kill and completed the Hermes Task to kill all Lieutenants, but after looking through all my Wings I noticed that this one was missing.
That one I actually had to get in New Game+, but still the Trophy doesn’t pop.

Thanks for the guide. there is two things worth to be mention in the guide:
    – All challenges must be completed as you are going to the “More than Twelve Labours” Trophy you will face a task to complete all of them and they are 80 in total.

    – For looting chest I have small advice and that is you put the armor with 20% chance more ingredients when looting

Completing “Legendary or Bust” quest, which you get for clearing all the Wraiths Lairs, is required for Servant of the Gods trophy. I had completed all of the 4 gods side quests but didnt recieve the trophy. I cleared all the Wraiths Lairs and completed the Legendary or Bust quest which popped the trophy.

I was having the same issue for the trophy not popping, but no questlines showing on the map. The solution for me was that I had to talk to athena, but you have to be standing in her bonfire in order to get the prompt to talk to her. I would imagine this standing in the bonfire to talk to the gods thing might work for other gods too. After talking to Athena, I got her quests triggered and was able to unlock the trophy. Hope this helps.

Wanted to make you aware of a glitch. I have it on PS5. When I beat Typhon, the trophy did not pop. I’m trying it again now to see if it will pop the second time. I hope so because it is the last one I need before plat.

Update- I tried just reloading the final boss fight and the whole game force shut before I could finish the fight. When I reloaded the game the most recent save was right before I entered the vault to I had to redo the whole thing, puzzles and all. However, once I finished it and beat the final boss, the trophy popped and the plat to follow. Thank so much for the guide! I hope this helps anyone who might come across the same issue.

I found a fix for servant of the gods trophy, if athena dosent let you talk to her just keep jumping around her spot until the talk interaction comes out.

Need to report a bug for Who’s The Boss and Servant of the Gods trophies. If you defeat Osomene and re-challenged Osomene from that daily challenge couple days ago before saving Athena you will get locked out of getting the 4th and final mythical fragment which is needed to unlock both trophies. There doesn’t seem to be any fix for this and Ubisoft needs to patch this otherwise worse case scenario you’ll have to start a new game or new game plus and redo ALL those requests again.

Potion Professional was my last trophy. I had found all chests and still was 18 under for unlocking all skills. I strongly recommend just going into New Game + and reaquiring the basic chests for the missed ember. Only took me another hour to do so.

You can also go around the larger island in the opening area and cut down trees over and over to find some. The trees will respawn by the time you make a circuit so just keep farming. It might be a little longer, but I wanted to get all the other trophies first and THEN beat Typhon for the final trophy to be done at that point.

For anyone struggling with the combo trophies, simply equip the Brood of Typhon breastplate at lvl 4 or higher, which gives a 10% chance of adding 12 to the combo meter on any hit, and also use the Gleam of Helios at a higher level, which adds 5 to the combo meter on a perfect dodge. Makes it super simple, assuming you find/have those items. I don’t remember where I got them. Find a large enemy, put the difficulty to at least normal, and jump attack and spam Athena’s power and you’ll have both easy. Best I had ever done “naturally” was around 65 or so.

i found an easier method. once you upgrade your armor to level 4 choose the armor that give +4 per hit with godly powers go to ajax fort in war’s den and there will be a group of enemies, go to the middle of them and press L1+X and the trophy will pop

Hi Powerpyx, I want to report a glitched trophy. I’ve googled this and it’s also glitched for a few people on Reddit.

I’ve killed all of the mythical bosses, but I’m stuck at 3/4 on the heroic task board. I went through the location of the bosses again, they are not there and will not respawn. Therefore, the “Who’s the Boss?” trophy will not unlock, and subsequently, I’m also unable to unlock “More than Twelve Labours”, because one of the final tasks requires you to kill all mythical bosses and I’m stuck at 3/4.

No fix yet, other than starting over or NG+.

“Hades’s New Neighbor” is bugged. for me I almost cleared 40 Vaults and it did not pop for me.
Dunno if NG+ is enough to give it a new shot or I have to start from scratch.
I have every other trophy this and the plat are the only 2 missing

Servant to the Gods trophy, i didn’t get it because i don’t have the crest of Heracles even if i did kill this wrath so i can’t get the quest “Legendary or Bust” in the secret door under the statute of Athena, you need 4 crest to open the door !! I guess i have to start over a NG+ this bug s*ck.

The mount Larkspur is not found where it’s shown on the guide map. It’s at the pond south-east of guardians hill (just above the ve in Grove on the map)

The mounts move around, they are not stationary.
The marked spots are where their confirmed sightings have been and where they will show up sooner or later (but that doesn’t mean they can’t be found in other areas occasionally).

I think 30-4O hours is a bit optimistic for the Platinum. I’m up to 50 hours now, and still have 4 Trophies to get and a big grind for materials to fully upgrade everything.

Just got my plat. Took me exactly 40 hours. Considering I spent a lot of time just idling and farming crafting materials, I’d say I could easily do it in 30-35 hours.

The broken wings disappeared from my inventory and those are needed for the wing nut trophy, i know many people have the same problem but does anyone know if it voids the trophy? I technically got them in the beginning of the game so im hoping it didn’t get glitched.

You don’t need Broken wings to be in your inventory. In fact, it is impossible to keep them, so, to answer your question, no, it doesn’t void the trophy.

Just wanted to say that the trophy for “Ornithology” can be glitched for some players myself included, locking me out of the trophy and platnium. I have read other posts where this occurs, basically what happens is I have the customization for all of phosphor’s skins, however the tarnished Phosphor does not show under my normal inventory and only as a visual customization, causing the trophy to be locked. It is a reward from doing a vault “Hound of Hades.

While I may be screwed unless I do NG+ or ubisoft patches the issue, I recommend anyone going for the plat to save beforehand before doing this vault and check your inventory to make sure you have the skin and not just the visual customization.

With how far I was in the game before I noticed, only chance I have at it now is NG+ if I feel like rushing to that specific vault to try and unlock.

Hope this info may help someone!

Tried doing the hound of hades fight/quest again on ng+ and saved before hand, only received 2 coins if charon as a reward no phosphor skin. So unless they patch the issue, I am locked out of the trophy and platnium unless I feel inclined tonplay through a fresh game and do everything over again, which I do not.

I remember something similar happening in Shadows of the Tomb Raider, with collectibles not counting towards progress, etc and it eventually getting patched. Oh well, I tried.

For me, its refreshing to have an open world game where the focus isn’t purely on combat the whole time. There were very few puzzles where I had absolutely no idea what to do. I think it also gave all the locations a more unique feels – Valhalla is great, but the side content is very boring and repetitive, whereas in Immortals, I feel I’m at least doing something new in each location. Fair to say if you don’t love puzzles that you should steer WELL clear of this game, but for Ubisoft, I feel it was a pretty fresh game.

On PS4: You click the PS-Button in middle of controller > in the PS4 “Main Menu” you scroll to the trophy icon in the menu bar, click it and select Immortals Fenyx Rising to see your trophy progress.
On PS5: Press PS-Button > scroll to your profile on the right side > click on your profile and select “Trophies”, then select the game.

Task isn’t going up for molten fragments either but it’s in my inventory. I’ve deleted the game and installed again it just won’t complete. I exited the vault right after I picked up fragment.

For those having trouble with the Combo trophy:

Go back to Clashing Rocks near the statue of Hermes there is a teaser mission for the first DLC.
It’s a vault with infinite stamina and maxed abilities.
During the arena fight just spam Athena Dash on a large enemy (got to 100 easily).
