How to Set Password for PS5 Console

Wondering how to set an offline console password for your PS5? This is how you do it:

PS5 Settings > Family and Parental Controls > PS5 Console Restrictions > Change Your Console Restriction Passcode

In this screen you can set a 4 button Console Password. So only someone who knows the right button sequence can access your PS5 locally. This way other family members can’t just log in to play on your accounts.
