Are you wondering how long is Saints Row (2022 Reboot, aka Saints Row 5)? Depending on chosen difficulty and playstyle it can vary quite a lot.
Saints Row Story took me 10 hours to beat. This time is based on a story-only playthrough on the lowest difficulty, ignoring all side activities.
There are 36 missions. They usually last between 10-20 minutes each. However, you must also build up your Empire to advance the story which counts towards the 10 hours story time. It’s worth noting that there are some post-story missions too. The “main story” will be done but there’s a special endgame mission that has time-intensive requirements. Finishing the requirements for that one mission alone takes almost as long as the entire main story.
That’s 36 Quests x 15 Minutes = 9 Hours for all quests. Plus a little bit extra for upgrading your businesses to advance your Empire Rank. On higher difficulties this may take quite a bit longer. See this as the minimum time for the first playthrough. There are also lots of side activities and business missions that combined take much longer than the story itself. See Saints Row 100% Completion Guide.
Saints Row Story Length Estimates:
- 10 Hours Speedrun on Easiest Difficulty, skipping all Dialogue & Cutscenes, ignoring all side activities
- 15 Hours Average Playstyle on Medium Difficulty, watching cutscenes, doing a little bit of exploration
- 30 Hours if you already do all Side Activities as you go through the Story (most are available from the start) and play on highest difficulty
Most Players will fall in the 10-15 hour range.
100% Completion / Platinum Trophy / 1000 Gamerscore:
- To get 100% Completion in Saints Row it takes about 40-60 Hours – this estimate includes having done every single main quest, all collectibles, 100% in all districts, all ventures and other side activities.
- Platinum Trophy / 1000 Gamerscore takes about 40-60 Hours – Getting 100% completion and getting the Platinum are basically the same thing in Saints Row. There are some extra miscellaneous trophies that go beyond what you need for 100% but they are done within a few minutes. Most time is spent getting 100% completion in all districts, doing all venture missions, clearing all other map icons and side activities. After that you will only have some challenges and vehicle special upgrades left.
Nothing is missable. You can still do everything after the story in free-roam. Enemies still spawn after getting 100% completion in all districts and you can still do the Challenges.
