Horizon Forbidden West Relic Ruins: Isle of Spires Guide

February 17, 2022 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Relic Ruins: Isle of Spires is a collectible in Horizon Forbidden West. This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of Isle of Spires Relic Ruins.

Location – Relic Ruins: Isle of Spires

Walkthrough – Relic Ruins: Isle of Spires

Step 1: Start at the campfire in the north-east of the ruins. There are yellow climbable ledges going up the skyscraper wall. Climb up there.

Step 2: You’ll come to an elevator with a battery socket. To power it on we must retrieve and charge a battery. Follow the path around this floor, ignore the battery and battery charger for now. The first charger you come across is too far from the elevator and the battery would drain before carrying it over. Instead, head into the room behind the battery charger and use pullcaster to tear down the vent at the ceiling.

Step 3: Go through the vent. In the room where you land, there will be a 2nd battery charger and a firegleam. Destroy the firegleam.

Step 4: Take the battery from the room next to the firegleam.

Step 5: Put the battery in the charger in the room where the firegleam was.

Step 6: After it’s charged, carry the battery to the elevator and put it in the socket. This is timed, if you take too long the battery will drain and must be recharged.

Step 7: This powers on the elevator. Press the elevator button and ride the elevator to a flooded area below.

Step 8: Step out of the elevator and look for a crate in the water on the right. Use pullcaster on the crate to pull it out of the water.

Step 9: Push the crate in the water section to the right, leading to a metal flower.

Step 10: Swim over to the metal flower and use pullcaster on the crate to pull it in front of the broken wall with a ladder behind it (can scan it through wall with :r3: ).

Step 11: Stand on the crate in the water, aim through the broken wall and shoot the red lock on the yellow ladder. This will lower the ladder.

Step 12: Destroy the metal flower. You unlock the vinecutter ability during Main Quest 12: Seeds of the Past.

Step 13: Immediately after the metal flower, head left and into the water. Swim to the ladder of which you shot the lock in Step 11. Climb up the ladder and from the top ledge press :circle: to jump backwards to the floor above. There you find the key module to open the door to the relic.

Step 14: Jump back down in the water, swim a little bit to the right of the ladder and then immediately swim left to reach a red-glowing locked door with a code console.

Step 15: Enter code 2109109 to open the door. Grab the relic behind it. Normally, you’d have to scan the datapoints on the 7th and 9th floor and combine their code numbers (2109 & 109) but you can skip all this and enter the code directly.

This finishes Relic Ruins: Isle of Spires in Horizon Forbidden West.
