Horizon Forbidden West Purgewater Location

Purgewater is a crafting resource in Horizon Forbidden West. It is used to craft ammunition and traps that deal Purgewater damage to drench enemies, neutralizing their elemental attacks and increasing their vulnerability to Frost and Shock attacks.

Item Description: A processing liquid used by machines to regulate internal functions. Purgewater Canisters can be detonated by shooting them with a Purgewater Arrow.

Purgewater Location:

• Bought from Salvage Contractors, for example the one west of Barren Light.
  
• Bought from some Hunter Merchants, for example the one in Plainsong.
  
• Dropped by machines that use Purgewater Weapons or carry Purgewater Canisters/Sacs, and by tearing off parts using these components, as seen in Notebook > Machine Catalogue. For example, Widemaw and Shellsnapper have a 100% drop chance.
• Sometimes found in Resource Chests (random).
