Piercing Spike is a crafting resource in Horizon Forbidden West. It is used to craft ammunition that can pierce armor or inflict high tear damage, often needed for Spike Thrower ammo crafting.
Item Description: A razor-sharp metal spike harvested from a machine’s claws, horns, or jaws.
Piercing Spike Location:
- Bought from some Hunter Merchants, for example the one in Plainsong
- Dropped by powerful machines with Horns, Fangs, Claws, or Tusks. For example, Ravager has 100% drop chance, Snapmaw has 100% drop chance.
- Sometimes found in Resource Chests (random).
