Metal Bone is a crafting resource in Horizon Forbidden West. It is used to craft ammunition for the Tripcasters, Spike Throwers, Boltblasters.
Item Description: A pristine metal rod harvested from a machine.
Metal Bone Location:
- Bought from Salvage Contractors, for example the one west of Barren Light.
- Bought from some Hunter Merchants, for example the one in Barren Light.
- Dropped by every machine in the game, but has a low drop rate (10% for small machines – 28% for large machines such as Tremortusk).
- Sometimes found in Resource Chests (random).
