Horizon Forbidden West Full World Map

February 17, 2022 by PowerPyx 8 Comments

Horizon Forbidden West has a huge World Map. This page reveals the full in-game map in high resolution.

The total map size of Horizon Forbidden West is ~24km² (2800m height x 8700m width). However, some parts are narrower and it’s not a perfectly square-shaped map. The actual explorable area is about 16km². Flying from the east end to the west end of the map takes about 12 minutes using the flying mount. There are areas of all types, from meadows to deserts, snowy mountains, jungles, beaches and oceans.

Below you can find the full Horizon Forbidden West World Map (In-Game Map):

The map stretches far further from east to west than it does from north to south. Your journey starts in the east and will take you west during the story. There is also a small prologue area that’s not part of the main map. Additionally, many underground caves can be entered and explored as well.

For all Machine Sites, refer to Machine Locations.
For all Settlements, refer to Settlement Locations.

There’s not a single website detailing the name of every major “city/village” settlement. Easy clicks and views for that helpful information if you can quickly make up a article or page etc

I liked your idea, so I set this up: Horizon Forbidden West: All Settlement Locations.

I did all the metal flowers and firegleam, but some of them still show up on the map (e.g. at Tilda’s mansion). Were you able to clear them all out or did some remain on the map?

My map has huge pixelated black spots where it goes up high into the mountains. Is there a way to fix it to look like yours or do I just have a broken copy?

Please tell me, does World Datapoint #63 exist, or was it omitted? I have everything else 100%. Have logged 300 hours in this game playing, completing and searching for this and am about to give up. Please let me know. Thank you.

I got stuck in the middle of the DLC Burning Shores. Slightly bugged, so am replaying this incredible game. This playthrough I am doing every possible quest, side quest, errands, hunting grounds, melee pits, rebel camps, and outposts, cauldrons and collectables. Love the flying mount.
