Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores contains 6 Aerial Capture Locations. Finding all Aerial Captures unlocks 
Recovered All Aerial Captures trophy.
At each location, examine the black box on the ground and then call up your Waterwing to reach the Focus trail’s starting location. Guide the Waterwing along it and press 
when you reach the eye-looking symbol at the end of the course to collect the Aerial Capture.
Aerial Capture 1: North
The Focus trail’s starting location is right off the cliff where the black box’s location.
Aerial Capture 2: Northeast
The Focus trail’s starting location is east of the black box, in the area with the red patches of grass.
Aerial Capture 3: East
The Focus trail’s starting location is all the way east, where Pangea Park is.
Aerial Capture 4: Northwest
The Focus trail’s starting location is right outside the hole in the wall you find the black box in.
Aerial Capture 5: West
To collect this Aerial Capture, you must first track the Stomrbird up into the clouds and then kill it.
Once you have killed the Stormbird, loot it and then interact with the door of the building in the middle to find the black box. The Focus trail’s starting location is right above the shore near the campfire on the island.
Aerial Capture 6: South
Aerial Capture 6 can only be collected once you’ve found the first 5. Once you have, the 6th one will automatically be marked on the map.

The north one is bugged for me, as I have heard it is for other players. They need to patch is as soon as possible. It’s last the trophy I need for 100%

I am another person who has the north one bugged. Aloy crouches down like she is supposed to look at the object and talk about it but she is silent and there is no starting point for the the aerial capture.

It appears the bugged Capture occurs if you complete any other Capture first. To avoid the bug, Aerial Capture 1 must be your first.

Probably a good idea to do it first, but may not be essential. It was my 4th and was bugged but loaded a save from before my 3rd and it was then playable.

North one was bugged for me too. Tried restarting ps5 and reloading a few different autosaves to no avail. Finally got it to work by loading a manual save I had from before completing the previous one I did which was north east. Luckily I only lost that one aerial capture and some other scavenging.

my solution is clear the outpost on the west first
then scan the black box before you press triangle

Guerilla Games need to actually test these before they release it. Absolutely shameful. If I worked for them, especially QA and Testing, I’d resign because I clearly can’t do my job.
I’m utterly disappointed with their lack of QA in Forbidden West and Burning Shores.
You’d think someone would be smart enough to test whether a 6 step collectables quest would break if done out of sequence – a sequence you only know the order of once you’ve completed it successfully may I add. Astounding level of ineptitude.

Have you worked in testing? The capture worked fine for me, and did for most players. And it probably did for their testers too. It’s not easy to know when you are finished trsting.
Game studios have to balance demand for DLC to be released in a timely manner against how fully they’re able to test.
Yes, it is frustrating, but report the bug and wait for them to fix it.
And no, I don’t work for Guerrilla or any other studio.

What the hell men, this was one of the best running and bug free games on release ever not even considering the sheer size of the world, quests, mechanics and game overall.

I’ve got bugged out too. Just reload last base game save prior beginning dlc and just did first 2 quick missions (get to hub + destroy tower orb) to get access to my bird buddy, then started this trophy with north one without bug. Lost 30 minutes but that’s not too bad imo.

The bug that was affecting the North Aerial Capture has been fixed. Make you sure your game is updated to the most recent version.

Can confirm the bug has not been fixed with the 1.022 patch, they just confirmed it was a known issue and being worked on.
Have tested with the latest version myself and it is indeed still bugged.

Patch 1.022.000 does not fix the issue. It only states that Guerilla is aware and is working on a fix.
What worked for me was NOT starting North East box before completing North. In my case I had to find a save before North East. Once this was loaded I went to North box, scanned it first, then triangle to play dialogue which ran normally. Was able to follow flight path and get completion. Gathered all the other boxes but saved North East for last just in case. Trophy popped once last box was complete (South).

Guerilla says the north aerial capture bug has been fixed in patch 1.23. Updated the game, went to the north aerial capture. STILL NOT FIXED.
