Horizon Forbidden West All Weapon Locations

Horizon Forbidden West has 10 different weapon types. This guide shows all weapon locations (how to get all weapons). The weapon types are: Spear, Hunter Bow, Warrior Bow, Sharpshot Bow, Blastslings, Tripcaster, Ropecaster, Shredder Gauntlet, Spike Thrower, Boltblaster.

Each weapon class has several weapons ranging from uncommon rarity (green) to legendary (orange). Each weapon has different elemental effects and uses different ammo. Legendary weapons are the best in the game. Most weapons can be bought from Hunter Merchants, a few are rewards from quests or Collectibles. To craft ammo you need resources, the rare ammo crafting resources ones can be bought from Salvage Contractors.

Spears (Melee Weapon)

• Champion’s Spear (Rare): Automatically obtained during 2nd Main Quest: “The Point of the Lance” – Objective: “Modify Your Spear”.

• Lightning Hunter Bow (Very Rare): Reward from Side Quest “Need to Know“.
  
• Death-Seeker’s Shadow (Legendary): Bought from Dukkah (Prize Master) in The Maw of the Arena (80 Arena Medals)
   
• The Sun Scourge (Legendary): Complete all 5 Rebel Camps on the map. Then you unlock a 6th secret Rebel Camp called “First Forge”, track it under Quests > Rebel Camps and you will get a waypoint to talk to Erend. Go talk to him, he will give you a quest to go to the 6th and final Rebel Camp. At the end of the Rebel Camp you fight a boss called Asera, she drops this legendary bow. Loot it from her body. Warrior Bow

• Warrior Bow (Uncommon): Bought from Hunter (Merchant) at Chainscrape (149 Metal Shards)
  
• Shock Warrior Bow (Uncommon): Obtained by talking to the Groundskeeper at Hunting Grounds: The Daunt.

• Carja’s Bane (Legendary): Reward for completing all 4 Gauntlet Runs (Races). After the last Gauntlet Run, a legendary chest will spawn in front of you that you can loot for this bow.

• Frost Blastsling (Uncommon): Automatically obtained during 1st Main Quest: “Reach for the Stars” – Objective: “Search the Ancient Ruins for a GAIA Backup”
  
• Explosive Blastsling (Uncommon): Bought from Hunter (Merchant) at Barren Light (149 Metal Shards + 1 Fanghorn Circulator)
  
• Adhesive Blastsling (Uncommon): ???
  
• Siege Blastsling (Rare): Bought from Hunter (Merchant) in Scalding Spear (632 Metal Shards, 1 Ravager Circulator)
   
• Icefire Blastsling (Rare): Bought from Hunter (Merchant) in The Maw of the Arena (467 Metal Shards + 1 Elemental Clawstrider Circulator)

• Wings of the Ten (Legendary): Reward for collecting all 12 Black Boxes – see All Black Box Locations. After getting them all, trade them for the 12 crafting materials with the Black Box Collector “Untalla” at The Memorial Grove. She will then give you the Legendary Blastslings after trading in all 12 Black Boxes. If she doesn’t, simply talk to her again and select the trade option again, it should then trigger the dialogue for having found all Black Boxes.
