Horizon Forbidden West All Melee Pit Locations

There are 4 Melee Pit Locations in Horizon Forbidden West (HZFW). Each of them has between 3-5 melee challenges, which are little combo trials. They are needed for the trophy “The Enduring”. For the trophy you must win all challenges at each Melee Pit and defeat each Pit Master. After winning them all you can track the Errand “The Enduring” to challenge the Tenakth melee master. Defeating the Melee Master then unlocks the trophy “The Enduring”.

None of the Melee Pits are missable. You can still find all of them after the story in free-roam.

Warning: The Melee Pits require having unlocked the combos in the “Warrior Skill Tree”. You should prioritize buying those skills. If you’re missing a melee skill the challenges won’t be playable! If you need more skill points, play side quests or complete other points of interest marked on the map.

Tenakth Melee Master: The Enduring
After winning all challenges at all 4 Melee Pits you can track the Errand “The Enduring”. It will give you a waypoint north of Scalding Spear. Go there to challenge the Melee Master. See the location below.

That’s all of the Melee Pit Locations in Horizon 2: Forbidden West (HZFW). After defeating the Tenakth Melee Master you will also unlock “The Enduring” trophy. The Enduring also upgrades your spear to deal more melee damage.
