Hogwarts Legacy Tangled Web Walkthrough

Tangled Web is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Tangled Web side mission.

Location: Hogsmeade
Quest Giver: Crispin Dunne
Quest Level: Level 25
Requirement: Having Finished Main Quest: Charles Rookwood’s Trial & Side Quest: Absconder Encounter
Reward: Conjuration Spellcraft, 180XP
Mission Info: Crispin Dunne in the Three Broomsticks is looking for someone to check on a friend.

Objectives:

• Talk to Crispin Dunne
• Check on Mary Portman in Aranshire
• Protect the hamlet from the spiders
• Find Mary
• Find the source of the infestation
• Search for the nest
• Destroy the Egg Sacs x12
• Find the source of the eggs
• Defeat The Insatiable Spider
• Return to Crispin Dunne in Hogsmeade

Starting Location: Tangled Web

Talk to Crispin Dunne

Just talk to Cirspin inside the Three Broomsticks, he wants you to check on his friend Mary.

Check on Mary Portman in Aranshire

Follow the quest marker to Aranshire on the east side of the Map.

Protect the hamlet from the spiders

Defeat the spiders in front of Mary’s house.

Find Mary

After defeating the spiders, enter Mary’s House. Interact with her body.

Find the source of the infestation

To find the source, get out of the house and go to the backside and enter the cellar.

Search for the nest

Inside the cellar, follow the given path and climb down the ladder at the end.

Destroy the Egg Sacs x12

You will have to destroy 12 eggs, you will find them all around the area in a group of 2-3 eggs.

Find the source of the eggs

After destroying all 12 eggs, follow the quest marker to find the source.

Defeat The Insatiable Spider

The source of the eggs is a big spider. Just defeat it, Incendio works wonders here.

Return to Crispin Dunne in Hogsmeade

After defeating the spider boss, return to Crispin and report.

This finishes Tangled Web Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy.
