San Bakar’s Trial is the forty-fourth main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of San Bakar’s Trial Main Mission.
Requirement: having completed Lodgok’s Loyalty, Level 24
Reward: 260 XP, Graphorn Beast entry, Graphorn Mount,

The One Who Mastered the Memories
Quest Info: I met Fig at the location revealed to us by Professor Bakar’s portrait. We deduced that only a Graphorn could open the passage to the Pensive chamber. I found a Graphorn called the ‘Lord of the Shore and tamed the terrifying beast. I rode it to the chamber and its presence unlocked the door. Inside, San Bakar’s Pensive memory revealed the terrible truth: Isidora was experimenting on Hogwarts students. The Keepers confronted her and the resulting battle killed her. I returned to the Map Chamber and the Keepers said I have the materials to build a unique wand that will open the final repository. I am to ask Mr Ollivander to construct the wand. Is this the beginning of the end?
Objectives:
- Go to the Map Chamber

Starting Location: San Bakar’s Trial
Lodgok was killed by his own brother and now we need to share with the Keeper that we’ve just found out about Ranrok and his plans.
Go to the Map Chamber
Warp to Hogwarts Castle > Secret Room > Map Chamber and head to the quest marker.
Speak with Professor Fig
Head into the Map Chamber and talk to Professor Fig.
Meet Professor Fig at San Bakar’s Pensieve Chamber
Head to the quest marker, using any nearby floo flames to get there faster.
Find the Clue to Open the Pensieve Chamber
Cast Revelio and use Confringo on the ivy on the wall to reveal the clue.
Search for the Lord of the Shore
Proceed to the next quest marker, all the way to the south of the region.
Enter the Graphorn’s Den
Proceed to the next quest marker.
Subdue the Lord of the Shore
For the entire fight, you can solely rely on Damage Spells (red spells). None of the others have any effect on the Graphorn. So, rotate these and avoid its attacks when prompted. When charged, use Ancient Magic attacks. After defeating the Graphorn, kneel when asked to choose. This unlocks the Graphorn as a ridable mount. The Graphorn has a powerful charge attack that deals a large amount of damage to enemies and certain barricade. Hold

to initiate. Keep <an eye on the Graphorn’s stamina meter as charging will drain it.
Return with the Graphorn to the Pensieve Chamber
Ride the Graphorn to the Pensieve Chamber or directly warp to Cragcroft Shore floo flame. If you warp, you then need to release the Graphorn from the Nab Bag with

. Stand on the platform and the Graphorn will automatically open the door.
Witness the Pensieve Memory
Dismount the Graphorn and enter the chamber. Continue on until you unlock a cutscene with San Bakar. Continue on and interact with the Pensieve to view San Bakar’s memory.
Use the Magical Passageway
Approach the crystallized door to use the magical passageway back to the Map Chamber.
Speak with the Keepers
Now approach the Keepers’ portraits to talk to them.
This finishes San Bakar’s Trial in Hogwarts Legacy.
