Starting Location: Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial
With the help of Professor Fig, we’ve transformed into Headmaster Black and learned the password from the house-elf Scrope. Now we gain access to the Headmaster’s office inside Hogwarts’ main tower and talk to Professor Fitzgerald’s portrait to start the trial.
Access the Headmaster’s Office
Press to activate your Charmed Compass. This will reveal a golden wisp trail that you can follow to your destination. At the Phoenix statute, whisper the password to get access into the office.
Find the Book in the Headmaster’s Office
Get upstairs and interact with the book. You’ll now be in a black-and-white drawn world.
Make Your Way through the Town Without Being Seen
Head downhill and you’ll trigger a cutscene with Death. After the cutscene, you’ll automatically cast Disillusionment and you’ll have to make your way through the town undetected.
The first area is relatively easy. From where you start, go hide behind the crates on the right and then when the cloaked figures check the sides of the area, proceed to the fallen beam to crouch under it.
Continue on through the town until you see another three cloaked figures. The one on the right won’t move, but the two on the left will. Move when the second of the two moves up the hill.
In the next area with the black smoke, hide behind the barrels and wait for the death figure to move before continuing down the stairs and under the mill wheel. Wait under the wheel for Death to leave and then continue on to the next quest marker.
In the next area, a group of death figures will come flying into the area, so approach and climb up the ladder to hide and continue on along the thatched roofs. Drop down to the other side and hide behind the small wall.
Wait for either of the two death figures on the right to move to the left and then make your way across behind a wooden cart and crates.
In the next section are two death figures, each on each side of the stall in the middle. Wait for the first to turn around and then go hide behind the stall, then repeat the same with the second death figure, thus continue to the next quest marker to see Death again.
As soon as three more death figures arrive, go back the way you came from and enter the door on the left.
Climb the stairs and hide behind the wall before the door.
When two death figures check the corners of the room, the third one walks away from the door and you say “Now it’s my chance”, continue to the other side. Then, continue on to the next quest marker.
Use the Cloak
Use the Cloak of Invisibility at the quest marker.
You’re now completely invisible and can’t get seen by anyone. So, go through the gate and past all of the death figures, including Death itself. You’ve cheated Death.
Now approach the quest marker to wield the Elder Wand.
You’ll now be able to cast spells and charms again, but only a selected few, namely Bombarda, Diffindo, Depulso and Descendo. Cast Bombarda at the wall in front of you.
Continue through the town and defeat the death shadows on the bridge. You will have realized that with the Elder Wand the spell cooldowns are dramatically reduced, allowing you to literally rotate each spell without interruption. Continue through the town, defeating shadows and reaching quest markers.
Eventually, you’ll be able to pick up the third Deathly Hallow, the Resurrection Stone. Congratulations on wielding all Deathly Hallows.
Complete the Trial of the Stone
Enter the graveyard and, after meeting with Death once more, approach the body on the grave.
Witness Niamh Fitzgerald’s Memory
Follow Niamh to the Pensieve and interact with it to view Niamh’s memory.
Return to the Map Chamber
Back in the real world, approach the crystallized door and interact with it to return to the Map Chamber.
Speak to the Newly Arrived Keeper
Now approach the next quest marker to talk to the new and fourth Keeper, San Bakar.
This finishes Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial in Hogwarts Legacy.

Do you keep the hallows?
PowerPyx says
It’s used to craft a new wand later for story purposes but this wand is not usable against enemies. For combat it’s only available during Fitzgerald’s trial.
