In Hogwarts Legacy you must use the Mysterious Map Fragment to find the treasure for Side Quest: Cursed Tomb Treasure. You get the treasure map as part of that quest. This guide shows the mysterious treasure map solution location.
To solve this you need to go to the location indicated on the treasure map, then activate 3 floor plates with Flipendo.
- The treasure map solution starts at “Tomb of Treachery” in Poidsear Coast. Enter the tomb from the fast travel point.
- Advance through the tomb until you reach a door with 3 moth/butterfly imprints. Cast Lumos on the moths to lead them to the door. Two are to the right of the door, one is on the left. The left one requires using Wingardium Leviosa (or Accio) to move a box, then climb up.
- After placing all 3 moths on the door it will open. Defeat the group of Inferius enemies behind, they are vulnerable to fire magic.
- In that same room you will see the floor plates from the treasure map on the floor. Cast Flipendo on the 3 floor plates shown in the image. It doesn’t matter in which order you hit them.
- When done correctly a chest will raise up from the pedestal in the middle of the pressure plates. Open it to finish the mysterious fragment treasure hunt. If it doesn’t work first try you might be looking at the floor plates from the wrong side, so just retry and make sure you hit the correct floor plates.
