Hogwarts Legacy All Demiguise Statue Locations

Hogwarts Legacy has 33 Demiguise Statue Locations (Demiguise Moons). Finding all Demiguise Statues unlocks the Demiguise Dread trophy and achievement. They are also needed to complete Side Quest “The Man Behind the Moons” and to upgrade your Alohomora spell that lets you open Level 2 & Level 3 Locks. The ability to open Level 3 locks is essential for fully exploring the game, that’s why Demiguise Statues are so important to get.

The Demiguise Statues become available after Main Quest #25: The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament. This is about halfway through the game. They can’t be collected before this point! This story quest introduces you to Demiguise Statues and automatically gives you the first 3. They are called “Demiguise Moons” in-game but “Demiguise Statues” in the trophy description. From this quest you also unlock “Alohomora” spell which lets you open locked doors. Many statues are behind level 1 or level 2 locks. Initially, you can only open level 1 locks. To open level 2 locks you must bring 9 Demiguise Statues to Gladwin Moon, to open level 3 locks you must bring him another 13 (9+13 = 22 total). Level 3 is the highest level of lock in the game. You can see Gladwin Moon’s location by tracking side quest “The Man Behind the Moons“.

Demiguise Statues can only be collected at night! You can advance time by pressing R3/Right Stick in the map screen (at bottom of map screen it shows the “Wait” button prompt). They still spawn at day but can’t be interacted with. Only at night you can collect them. They also glow blue at night. The demiguise statues look like small furry monsters holding a blue orb. None of these Collectibles are missable, you can still grab all of them after the story in free-roam.

This guide is in the optimized order in which you can access the statues. We will begin with easy open world ones that either have no lock or only a level 1 lock. Then you bring the statues to Gladwin Moon to upgrade lockpicking to level 2. After this you can get all the remaining statues (none are behind level 3 locks).

Unlike most other collectibles, demiguise statues are not marked on the map. You can keep track of how many you found by fully zooming out on the map and checking the regional collectible tracker in the top right corner of the map. In Hogwarts you can click on the wings of the castle (flag icons on map) to see how many you found in that section. On PS5 you can see how many you found in total via the PS5 trophy tracker. To make navigation easier it’s recommended to unlock all Floo Flames (fast travel points) first, especially the ones within Hogwarts Castle.

In Hogsmeade, inside Tomes and Scrolls. Walk behind the shopkeeper to find it in the back corner of the shop near an eye-chest.

Bring 9 Demiguise Statues to Gladwin Moon
Before continuing you need to upgrade Alohomora Spell to Level 2. Give 9 Demiguise Statues to Gladwin Moon in Hogwarts Castle > The South Wing > Faculty Tower.

#13 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in a house with a Level 2 lock, upstairs. From Tomes and Scrolls enter the first alley north-west to find this house’s front door on the left.

#14 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, inside Hog’s Head pub, in the back room behind the barkeeper.

#15 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in a house with a Level 2 lock, upstairs. It’s one of the houses at the western edge of the Hogsmeade, the next house to the north of J. Pipppin’s Potions.

#16 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in “The Three Broomsticks” inn, on the top floor behind a Level 1 door lock. It’s the big building in the center of Hogsmeade.

#17 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in the next house directly east from “The Three Broomsticks” inn, which has a Level 1 lock on the front door, upstairs in this house.

#18 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in “Dervish and Bangles”, which is the house immediately west of Gladrags Wizardwear. It sits on the counter in front of the shopkeeper.

#19 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in a house on the hill in the north-east of town, with a Level 1 door lock. After entering the statue is right in front of you on the ground floor.

#20 – Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, in a house in the north-west of town before the bridge/river, it has a Level 1 door lock. After entering it’s straight in front of you on a shelf, ground floor.

Open World – Part 2 (Cleanup)

#21 – Feldcroft Region
In Feldcroft town, in a house in the east of the town, with a Level 2 door lock. After entering the statue is on the left, ground floor.

#22 – Manor Cape
In Bainburgh town, in a house in the north of the town with a Level 1 door lock, after entering it’s on a chair on the left.

#23 – Cragcroftshire
In Cragcroft town, in a house at the west edge of the map, to the right of a merchant that you can buy items from. The door to the house is open, the statue is upstairs.

Hogwarts

#24 – Hogwarts > The South Wing > Clock Tower Courtyard
In The South Wing of Hogwarts castle, in the bathroom behind a Level 1 door lock, go through the middle toilet door to find it. From “Clock Tower Courtyard” fast travel point, go through the door to the immediate right of where the green fast travel point is on the wall, then through a short outside section enter the next door in front (can only go one way here), down the stairs in front and take a left. Then it’s the second door on the left. Enter the bathroom and go through the middle toilet stall.

#25 – Hogwarts > The Great Hall > The Great Hall
Fast travel to “The Great Hall” (fast travel point). From where you spawn walk forward and to the right to find a Level 1 door lock, open this to find the statue behind it.

#26 – Hogwarts > The Library Annex > Divination Classroom
Fast travel to “Divination Classroom”. From where you spawn go up the stairs in front of you, all the way to the top. At the top of the stairs a ladder will appear, climb up to the Divination Classroom. Statue is inside the classroom, on the teacher’s desk.

Bring 13 Demiguise Statues to Gladwin Moon
Now you can upgrade Alohomora Spell to Level 3. Give 13 Demiguise Statues to Gladwin Moon in Hogwarts Castle > The South Wing > Faculty Tower.

#27 – Hogwarts > The Library Annex > Potions Classroom
Fast travel to “Potions Classroom”. From where you spawn, go through the door in front, then turn left and go downstairs. Go all the way to the end until you reach a Level 1 door lock, open it. This leads to a hallway, enter the first door on the left with a Level 2 door lock. This contains the statue.

#28 – Hogwarts > The Library Annex > Library
Fast travel to “Library”. From where you spawn, turn around, then walk straight to the end where the bookshelves are (north on the minimap), then turn right to walk between the bookshelves and go through the gate to the Restricted Section. Head downstairs and follow the linear path forward, the same path you took during the story in Main Quest #10: Secrets of the Restricted Section. At the end of the path down the stairs you will find the statue at the end.

#29 – Hogwarts > The Bell Tower Wing > Beasts Classroom
Fast travel to “Beasts Classroom”. From where you spawn turn around, face the green floo flame on the wall. Enter the 2nd door to the right of the floo flame which has a Level 2 door lock. Inside is the statue.

#30 – Hogwarts > The Bell Tower Wing > Hogwarts North Exit
Fast travel to “Hogwarts North Exit”. From where you spawn, turn around, then walk along the left wall until you reach stairs leading up. Don’t go up the stairs, instead enter the door below the stairs (Level 1 lock). Statue is behind the door.

#31 – Hogwarts > Astronomy Wing > Transfiguration Courtyard
Fast travel to “Transfiguration Courtyard”. From where you spawn, turn around and enter the door left of the Floo Flame. Immediately after going through the door look to the right to see another Level 2 door lock, behind this is the statue.

#32 – Hogwarts > Astronomy Wing > Transfiguration Courtyard
Fast travel to “Transfiguration Courtyard”. From where you spawn, turn slightly left to see a dragon statue. Walk in this direction, go through the big doors straight behind the dragon statue, then head to the right and down the stairs to enter a cellar. In this cellar on the left is a Level 1 door lock, open it to find the statue in this room.

#33 – Hogwarts > Astronomy Wing > Professor Fig’s Classroom
Fast travel to “Professor Fig’s Classroom”. From where you spawn, enter the door in front of you, go through Fig’s Classroom and enter his office. This is found inside Professor Fig’s office.
