Closer Analysis
There are 42 hidden intels to collect in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Every mission has 3 intels except the third one called U.S.D.D. In this single mission there are absolutely none intels – it’s just a long cutscene anyway. As soon, as a new mission starts I’m blending it in during the video. All intels are in the order they appear in the game / in the mission!

Death to Dictators
This event occurs in the very first mission called operation 40.
You need to take down Castro with a headshot.

Slingshot Kid
You have to destroy all 3 targets with only one slingshot per target. This can only be done in the 2nd mission called Vorkuta. Just aim slightly above the target – the video shows how it can be done easily.

Vehicular Slaughter
You need to destroy all moving vehicles during the prison break. This is the very last part of the mission named Vorkuta. The first things you should destroy are the two trucks, followed by the helicopter and motorcycles.
In case you don’t get this trophy or achievement you probably missed one of the motorcycles. Just don’t jump on the train and you’ll get another chance.

Tough Economy
For this trophy / achievement you need to destroy an enemy tank with every single missile you fire. 6 shots – 6 tanks. This video should help you getting the job done.
Note: In the end the trophy doesn’t pop up, for some reason it unlocked 1 minute later for me and I just cut the video then.

Heavy Hand
If you use the grim reaper to destroy the MG emplacement you will earn this trophy / achievement. This one is story related and can only be done during the victor charlie mission.

Up close and personal
For this story related trophy / achievement you need to take out 3 enemies silently. This can be done in the Victor Charlie mission.
In this video I show you the place where to do it. Just use your knife to make sure they don’t hear you.

Lord Nelson
For Lord Nelson you need to destroy all targets and structures while making your way up the river. This is a part of the mission Crash Site and is story related.

Mr. Black OP
In the mission ‘WMD’, you will need to take out the first two enemies with your AUG. After that, use your crossbow on the lone enemy right in front of the 2 enemies next to the truck, then proceed by killing those 2 guys with your AUG. Use your crossbow to kill a guard that’s on the truck (your ally will take out the other guy). There is another guard, standing on top of a building. Use the AUG to take out 2 more soldiers shoveling next to a building. Use the Crossbow against the guy patrolling outside and continue by taking out the guard sitting around in a hallway. The last guy is at the bottom of the stairs, do whatever you’d like with him. Make sure that if you mess up at any time with any of these, grenade yourself before you get a checkpoint, which will happen after you kill the last guy.

Russian bar-b-q
In the mission Payback, you will come to a cave. There is a guy with an AK-47 which has this flamethrower attachment. You should definitely do this on recruit difficulty! Otherwise you will probably get into trouble with the enemies.

Light Foot
For this story related trophy you need to run for your life in the ‘Project Nova’ mission. You have to escape the ship with 2:15 left on the timer in Veteran to get the trophy. You will come to this point in the very end of the mission. The most important part while doing this is the start. You should know exactly where to shoot at. Then run up the broken structure and just kill the first 2 enemies you come across. After that just run, run and run. Especially the last part can be dangerous and maybe you’ll die a few times until it works. If you think you need to kill a few enemies then do so, there should be a few seconds remaining anyway.

I hate monkeys
This trophy is a bit tricky if you don’t know where to do it and how to do it. You need to kill 7 monkeys in under 10 seconds. To throw grenades is the easiest way here and takes less than 1 second to kill 7 of them. The shown place in the video should help you. You get to this point when you are in the labs, it’s where all the offices and lots of enemies are in. Right before the room with a glassed, yellow center in the middle.

Double Whammy
In the mission “Redemption” (the last one) you need to destroy both helicopters with one Valkyrie rocket from the deck of the ship to get this trophy or achievement. Just wait until the helicopters are very close to each other and then hit the one which is flying behind the other one. In case you fail this just kill yourself with a grenade. Good luck.

Frag Master
This Guide shows how to kill 5 enemies with one single grenade. This can be done easily in the first mission “Operation 40”. Wait a bit on the shown location when you enter there. After a few seconds there will be lots of enemies, there are also some barrels which can increase the radius of the explosion the grenade causes.

Sally Likes Blood
This is probably the easiest way to get this trophy / achievement in story mode. This video was shot during the Victor Charlie mission. After you destroyed the enemy base with C4 you will get the shown weapons automatically. Fight your way through the village and take out the guy at the MG. Several helicopters and enemies will come – watch out for the first boat that comes. Just aim and shoot and this trophy is yours.

Easy Rhino
To get access to the dead ops arcade mode you need to break free from the torture chair in the main menu. To break free from it just press L2 & R2 rapidly. Then go to the terminal and enter “CD” press on Enter and then type in “DOA” and the arcade game will start.
You can get this trophy in the very first level. Try not to kill any zombies another way. Just walk around them and avoid being grabbed. As soon as there are enough zombies in a row, press R1 to blast them away and get this nice silver trophy.

 

Hands Off the Merchandise
Important: The Thief spawns at casual times! He will only spawn if you are in the shown area and after you completed a round. The only pre-condition to make him spawn is to activate the power station. The trick with the quick revive effect will make it a lot easier for you to kill him rapidly.

Tips for this level: You’ll have to experiment with this game mode & the map a bit before you’re good enough to know how to survive. Make sure to always have a quick revive with you. In case you die it will bring you back to live and as long as you’re down, you will receive powerful weapons. At the end of round 4 you should have your 2750 points + a quick revive left. The first 3 rounds shouldn’t be a problem. In round 4 the hordes of zombies are getting much stronger and faster. You’ll probably get into trouble when you’re doing this in singleplayer. Stay at the elevator the whole time. If you can’t defend yourself anymore there are 2 options: Let the zombies kill you and use the effect of the quick revive to get rid of them (but then you need to buy a new one) or drive to the level below (costs 250) and kill your last zombies there.
I had to survive 6 rounds until the thief spawned. I just used the pistol and M14. If ammunition runs out, go back to the room you start in and refill.

So keep in mind: You will probably need a while until you are good enough to stay alive…
…and it’s a bit of fortune if the thief spawns early or not. Give it a few tries and keep cool.

Sacrificial Lamb
For advanced Tips & Tricks for zombie mode read description of “The Collector”.
You should make sure to do not waste any money on other weapons while you are trying to get this trophy. Do never refill ammunition by buying it. When you come to the mysterious box you can buy a new weapon there instead of getting new bullets. You will probably need lots of tries until you get the weapon you want. It’s all about fortune and you need quite a lot of it to get this done.

The Collector
Tips & Tricks for zombie mode:
– always keep moving! Never run in the direction of the zombies, always run away.
– keep an eye to all sides (360°). Zombies generally come from all sides which will make life a lot harder in high rounds.
– remember to use grenades against huge hordes of zombies. Every time you complete a round you will get +2 grenades (& + 2 claymores if you have some).
– The first 3 rounds should completely be done with the knife & pistol to save quite a lot points
– the zombie mode related trophies are probably easier with more players (up to 4). Of course this is depending on the knowledge the players have.
– on the “Kino der Toten” map it’s a lot easier to get into high rounds. If you play with multiple people the amount of the dogs (coming every 5-7 rounds) will also increase drastically.

To buy all weapons you will need 20650 points in total (+ 500 if you buy quick revive). The weapons cost 13150 and the doors 7500. Just follow this walkthrough, I was trying to make it very detailed with lots of helpful tips and tricks.

Tactic for multiplayer: When you’re trying this in multiplayer, every player has to buy every weapon. It doesn’t count if one player buys the half and the other one the other half of all weapons. To get this done easier only one should be saving all points to buy the weapons later on. So this player should kill much more zombies. The other one plays the role of the “door-opener” – that means his main function is opening the doors and assisting player 1 if it’s needed.
