Guardians of the Galaxy Chapter 7 contains 12 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in Chapter 7 in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Outfits, Guardian Collectibles, Compendium Items, Archives.
All of the Collectibles are missable, the reason being that your progress reverts in Chapter Select to the progress you had when you played the Chapter for the first time (except Outfits which do stay). Finding missing items in Chapter Select doesn’t add them to your save later in the game. In other words, whatever you find through Chapter Select doesn’t get saved and doesn’t count towards trophies & achievements. Because of this it’s recommended to save in a different Manual Slot at the start of every Chapter. If you miss something you can reload the save to replay the Chapter right away. Make sure you save in a different slot each time, because the autosave automatically keeps overwriting the active Save Slot.
Chapter 7 – Canine Confusion
Archive: Warning
After unlocking the Electricity Element for Peter’s blasters, you must go back through the big hall where you were flying in anti-gravity earlier. At the end of the hall you must use your electric guns in visor vision to shoot a circuit that opens a door (it’s the only way forward, linear story path). After going through that door you come to a red-lit area, check for the archive on the right side.
Archive: Cadet Gold’s Attendance
From the last collectible, go up the stairs just a few steps away, crouch under the blue obstacles, then immediately turn to the right. There’s a locked door. Use Nikki’s Personal Device to open this door (the item you obtained in Chapter 2 by siding with the girl Nikki in elevator ride and keeping her secret from her mother Ko-Rel). If you didn’t get the Personal Device in Chapter 2, you won’t be able to access the door and will miss out on this and the next Guardian Collectible! After going through the door, destroy the grey goo on the right and squeeze through the gap, crouch under the obstacle, go straight ahead to the end of path to find this Archive on a grate.
Guardian Collectible: Drax’s Rap Sheet
From the last collectible, turn around and look up. Shoot the grey goo above you to make some big crates fall down that you can then jump up to reach the upper floor.
The collectible can be in two spots here, which got changed with patches.
Before Patch 1.02: On the upper floor, on the right side behind a crate in a dark corner. It’s only here if you’re playing the disc version without having downloaded any patches (the original spot BEFORE Patch 1.02).
After Patch 1.02: On that same floor, behind the crates there’s a red-lit corridor leading to a grate overlooking the last archive’s location. On that grate you find Drax’s Rap Sheet AFTER patch 1.02.
Outfit – Rocket: Nova Corps
After fighting the first two enemy groups in this chapter, you’ll be in a circular red-lit room and must reroute the power by shooting circuits with your electric guns. There are two side rooms where you can command Groot to raise a platform for you. Do this in the room left of where Rocket is standing at a computer console, after raising the platform you can jump to an air duct and crouch through, then you come to a locked room with more circuits to shoot. The power line leading to the right side is connected to a door, activate it to find the Outfit chest behind that door.
Trophy: No Way, Nova Corps
In the next enemy section you will encounter the enemy type “Nova Centurion” for the first time. Weaken and/or stun such an enemy to get a / button prompt to show up. Press this button and with some luck Gamora will perform her Call of Action. If she doesn’t simply restart the last checkpoint and try again.
Outfit – Gamora: Nova Corps
As you look for Ko-Rel and Nikki, you’ll come to a point where you must command Groot to make a bridge for you and then go down 3 flights of stairs, which is the same path you took with Nikki in Chapter 2. Make it all the way to the bottom floor and you’ll see electricity in the water. This is the chest you could see in Chapter 2 but couldn’t reach back then. You must use your electric gun to shoot the switch behind the water (yellow in visor vision), which stops the electricity. Then command Gamora to slice through the pipes in the flooded area, which reveals the Outfit chest behind it.
Galactic Compendium Item: Chewbacca Toy
Automatically picked up from a cutscene in Nikki’s Hideout, in her private room (unmissable).
Archive: So Many Thoughts
Same room as above, on a red pillow.
Archive: Urgent Quarantine Warning
Immediately after leaving Nikki’s Hideout, it’s to your right on a yellow crate.
Guardian Collectible: Galactic War Commendation
Inside Ko-Rel’s Office, when Rocket tries to hack the computer and you get the objective to search the office for clues. The collectible is on the ground left of the computer where Rocket is.
Archive: Upcoming Accuser Visit
Same area as above – enter the first room on your right to find this collectible on the floor by the yellow bed (Ko-Rel’s bedroom).
Trophy: Drax the Dismemberer
The next enemy you encounter will be a big robot with a laser eye, called Inquisitor. Against this enemy type you must perform Drax’s Call of Action when a / button prompt shows. The prompt will show up when the Inquisitor is at low health and/or stunned. However, it won’t always be Drax attacking it, you need some luck. You can either let the other team members get knocked out, or restart the checkpoint until Drax performs this attack.
Archive: Cycle Reminders
Shortly after fighting the first “Inquisitor” type enemy (robotic enemy with laser eye) you’ll come to a command center with a big globe-looking sphere in the middle. From the entrance, go to the back left side of the room to find this on a desk.
Archive: Golden Shadows
Same room as above, on the right side of the room.
For all other Chapters, refer to Guardians of the Galaxy Collectibles Guide.

There is no Guardian Collectible: Drax’s Rap Sheet on the box for me. Did they change its spot?
SkinnyHippo says
It seems so. If you keep going down the hallway its at the end.
PowerPyx says
Looks like they changed it in Patch 1.02.
I updated it here in the guide and also in the video. Thanks for bringing it up! 🙂

I think Drax the dismemberer is a bugged trophy, been in there for like 5 hours now and got no luck. Staggered the Monster for like 7 times with drax alone. All party member dead but nothing. If in full party, only gamora and groot responds to “call to action”, can we report this one?
Smashed says
You can’t get it while he’s staggered.
Tmt says
Drax call of arm isn’t triggered by stagger. He has to catch the bots arm and it has to trigger .
Josh says
I was having a ton of trouble with this trophy too. I noticed in the video that the Drax call to action was a bit different looking than the Groot and Gamora ones. I decided to avoid hitting the first call to action like they did in the video and instead wittle down the health to get another call to action during the second health bar phase. So I didn’t stun the robot, got into it’s second phase/health bar and then wittled down it’s health. I didn’t actually fill the stun bar I just damaged it until Drax went for the call to action and that worked. So maybe try that?
Victor says
There’s an easier spot to get this trophy: at the end of Chapter 8 you get to fight an Inquisitor with just Drax and Groot, which improves the odds of getting it. Don’t use Drax’s stagger ability, just damage the inquisitor and stun it with electric bullets.
Tyga says
For gamora nova Corp outfit it seems unaccesscible if you progress pass it and try to go back I can’t hit the switches. Any fixes?
BodyChipper says
If you skipped buying anything in chapter 6 it seems like picking up the Galactic War Commendation should trigger the Managerial Skills trophy for having all of Peter’s collectibles and the Thoughtful Captain trophy for having half the Guardian Collectible.
Would be good if this can be confirmed in the guide and added so player’s know they are on track properly, though I know I am late making this comment.
MunVP says
I’m triggering the Managerial and
Thoughtful Captain trophy too when i pick up War Commendation, although i buy 1 of those collectible in chapter 6 (I bought those thing that give you 1 out of 3 dolls/toy) i guess it’s because those thing you buy didn’t count as collectibles
