Guardians of the Galaxy Chapter 13 contains 11 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in Chapter 13 in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Outfits, Guardian Collectibles, Compendium Items, Archives.
All of the Collectibles are missable, the reason being that your progress reverts in Chapter Select to the progress you had when you played the Chapter for the first time (except Outfits which do stay). Finding missing items in Chapter Select doesn’t add them to your save later in the game. In other words, whatever you find through Chapter Select doesn’t get saved and doesn’t count towards trophies & achievements. Because of this it’s recommended to save in a different Manual Slot at the start of every Chapter. If you miss something you can reload the save to replay the Chapter right away. Make sure you save in a different slot each time, because the autosave automatically keeps overwriting the active Save Slot.
Chapter 13 – Against All Odds
Galactic Compendium Item: Glarnot Mask
After crashlanding your spaceship in the snow, you can walk around the spaceship. Go into Rocket’s room, interact with the mask on his desk and exhaust the dialogues to have this added to your items. Only available if you picked it up in Chapter 12.
Outfit – Gamora: Black Vortex
After the first enemy encounter in this chapter (2 big enemies with spores on their skin), there’s a wall for Gamora to climb on the right wall. Command her to boost you up there. At the top is the purple chest. BEFORE commanding Gamora to cut through some icicles.
Outfit – Groot: Five O’Clock Sprouts
After shimmying across a ledge, you’ll enter a dark cave and this chest is to the immediate right of the entrance, around the corner.
Guardian Collectible: Xatar’s Blade
From the last collectible, exit the cave and make it through an ice tunnel with poison gas, then defeat some tentacle enemies. After the enemy encounter, Groot will automatically make a bridge for all Guardians. Cross it and you will notice a wall for Gamora on your right. Have her boost you up and you’ll find this Collectible on the ground.
Outfit – Star-Lord: War-Lord
After unlocking the Plasma Element for Peter’s blasters, you’ll have to go through a cave and melt some ice along the way. At the end of the cave, after melting ice at the ceiling and jumping over a dinosaur skeleton, look up again to see more ice you can shoot. This will reveal a pad for Groot. Have Groot interact with it and lift the platform halfway up to access a hidden alcove with a purple container. This is just to the left before the cave exit.
Guardian Collectible: Deeproot Plant
After the previous collectible, you’ll get to a location with venomous spores. On the right side of this area is this Guardian Collectible, at the very edge of the area, looks like a small flower pot.
Archive: The End of My Hunt
Same area as above, to the immediate left of where you entered the area, there’s a rock with 3 poison spores. On that rock is a hunting marker with an archive next to it.
Outfit – Rocket: The Stinger
Same area as above, straight ahead from where you entered the area, at the end of the area (3 poison spores here).
Archive: Wendigone!
After defeating the Alpha Wendigo, use Groot’s help to lift up a platform. There you will find the archive straight ahead on the ground. It’s on the main story path and in plain sight.
Archive: Unsent: Major Setback
After meeting the survivor at the burning camp, go up the hill left of the survivor to find this straight ahead, basically on the main story path.
Outfit – Drax: Katathian Monk
Just after leaving the burning camp, you’ll be doing a long ice slide. After that, there are some more poison spores on the left side. Climb up where they are to find the outfit chest at the top.

War-lord chest has glitched on me, it’s not spawning after checkpoint load, oddly I can scan it but it isn’t there on the floor

So wierd thing, I have the War-Lord suit in my Outfits. There’s no way I collected it, scanned the chest but that chest wasn’t opened because it wasn’t physically there to open

Had the same issue – turns out it’s automatically unlocked if you have your Square account linked. Perhaps should be included in the description.

Sh*t.. Me too.. I was going to replay whole chapter starlord outfit war-lord..not spawned in place but had it already in collection but didn’t even know it.. in game english-polish localisation game gone too deep with this one

Look in your outfits and you if you see the warlord outfit equip it

Achive: End Of Hunt make sure you aren’t being poisoned by spores, if you are the Triangle prompt won’t show and you’ll have to reload

It’s a pre order item you can get earlier, chest is endgame thing since everything can be obtainable of skins. So if you haven’t pre ordered or played earlier version you find it in chest or it’s empty.

You probably already have it if you look in your outfits, I got it automatically from linking my Square Enix account. So while I could scan where the chest would normally be, it wasn’t physically there since I already had it.

I’ve got the war-lord reward via square enix but i don’t have that outfit in game. Also, there’s no chest where it’s supposed to be
