Introduction
Welcome to the Grand Theft Auto III Definitive Edition Trophy Guide (aka GTA Trilogy / GTA 3 Remaster on PS4 and PS5)! The 2021 remaster of a 20-year old classic, this definitive edition includes upgrades and quality of life updates such as updated graphics and lighting, updated driving controls, updated gunplay mechanics, a GPS system and a full map, as well as several other features that are beneficial to playing.
Unlike the PS2-to-PS4 port of GTA3, cheats will disable all trophies in this version, so you will not be able to use cheats to your advantage. The game also has a tendency to crash, so it is recommended that you save regularly, especially when doing stuff without autosaves such as collecting hidden packages, doing vehicle missions or unique jumps. The game will only autosave upon starting or completing a named mission (story or side).
You will need to get 100% Completion in order to obtain the platinum, which consists of doing all story and side missions in the game, collecting all hidden packages, completing all unique jumps, finishing all rampages and completing all import/export lists, amongst some other smaller requirements. Several of the story missions are missable if you don’t finish a character’s missions before doing certain other missions. To best avoid this, you will simply want to complete all missions for one character before moving onto the next. For more information regarding 100% completion, please see the 100% Completion Guide & Checklist.
Most other trophies fall under the 100% requirement, however there are some you will need to go out of your way to do, such as the mission-specific trophies. There are four of these in the first island, Portland, which are missable. The story itself can be completed within roughly 10 hours, with the platinum requiring 20-25 hours, however it is highly recommended you do all content on an island before doing story missions, as certain content (such as Rampages and Vehicle Missions) will become considerably more difficult to do after completing certain story missions which will make the gangs hostile towards you.
100% Glitch Warning: When going for 100%, do not leave the pay phone mission “Kingdom Come” until last. If this is your final item for 100% completion, Is That All You’ve Got? will not pop despite it saying 100% completion in your stats. Make sure you leave something else to complete last.
Upon completing D-Ice’s Pay Phone missions on Shoreside Vale, the Purple Nines gang members will no longer be available. While this is not an issue normally, if you start a new playthrough, this will carry over to the new playthrough, which will stop you from being able to complete D-Ice’s first mission, “Uzi Money”. Because of this glitch, if on your first playthrough you miss something required for 100% and need to start a new playthrough, make sure to delete all of your saves via saved data management on your console. Alternatively, when you first start the game and get the ability to save, you can make a save on a separate save slot and never overwrite it, so that in the event that you need to start a new game, you can simply reload this save and the glitch will not be in effect.
Step 1: Portland Rampages, Vehicle Missions, Hidden Packages and Story Missions
As soon as you start the game and finish the initial mission, it is recommended that you work towards completing all the rampages and vehicle missions before progressing too far into the story. The Triads will become hostile after completing “The Pick-Up” and the Mafia will become hostile after completing “Sayonara Salvatore”, which makes doing these optional missions a lot more difficult.
Completing Paramedic Level 12 (Playing Doctor ) is highly recommended on Portland as it’s the smallest island, the only one with no initially hostile gangs, plus upon completion you will unlock unlimited sprint, which can be very beneficial when moving around. Attempting to do this on other islands with hostile gangs, or on Portland once the gangs there are hostile is incredibly difficult as your ambulance will be destroyed quickly.
You will also need to complete 100 total Taxi Fares, put out 20 fires as a Firefighter (must put out 20 fires per island for a total of 60), and kill 20 criminals as a Vigilante (must kill criminals 20 per island for a total of 60). While doing these it is worth trying to get 15 of each in a single attempt, as this is necessary for Splish Splash and Going Rogue respectively. Without access to cheats the Vigilante mission can be a bit difficult due to the limited access to weaponry, however you can unlock the Uzi at Ammu-Nation by completing “Cipriani’s Chauffeur”, or by collecting 20 Hidden Packages.
Collecting the Hidden Packages is something you can do at any time, however it is recommended early on to have access to guns, as every 10 hidden packages you will unlock a new weapon at your safehouse (or armor at 50 hidden packages). Without cheats, this is your best way of getting weapons early on.
When you do progress through the story missions, make sure to complete all missions for Luigi and Joey before you complete all missions for Salvatore, as otherwise these missions are missable. There are also four missions which have mission-specific trophies that are missable:
- Mike Lips Last Lunch: Without a Scratch
- Farewell ‘Chunky’ Lee Chong: Planned Ahead
- The Fuzz Ball: Got This Figured Out
- Triads and Tribulations: Mob Boss
Step 2: Staunton Island Rampages, Vehicle Missions, Hidden Packages and Story Missions
Once you complete “Last Requests”, you will unlock Staunton Island. Much like with Portland, it is recommended you do all the optional content on here before progressing the missions, as the Yardies will become hostile after completing “Kingdom Come” (this is a Pay Phone mission, not a story mission). Once again you will need to put out another 20 fires as a Firefighter, kill another 20 criminals as a Vigilante and complete all rampages. This isn’t quite as relevant as in Portland, but it is still recommended as it not only makes the tasks easier, but once again unlocks more stuff for you.
Collect the Hidden Packages if you like, as you will be able to get over 50 now, which will unlock the armor. This is essentially double health and is very beneficial when doing all sorts of content.
When doing the story missions, make sure to complete all of Kenji’s missions before you do “Waka-Gashira Wipeout” for Donald Love, and make sure to complete all of Asuka’s missions (up to and including “Two-Faced Tanner”) before you do “Grand Theft Aero” for Donald Love. Kenji’s and Asuka’s missions will be missable otherwise.
Step 3: Shoreside Vale Rampages, Vehicle Missions, Hidden Packages and Story Missions
Once you complete “A Drop in the Ocean”, you will unlock Shoreside Vale. The Colombian Cartel will get AK-47s upon completing the final mission, “The Exchange”, so once again it is recommended to do all content here before you do that mission. Finishing up the last 20 fires for Firefighter and 20 criminals for Vigilante will complete those respective missions, as well as unlock a flamethrower and the last of the police bribes at your safehouses.
With full access to the map, you can also collect all the Hidden Packages for the remaining unlocks, as well as do all the Unique Jumps now. These simply reward money but are necessary for 100% completion. You will also now be able to complete the 3 Import/Export lists, which are also necessary for 100%. Complete everything that you want to complete, and then finish up the story.
Step 4: 100% and Cleanup
Once you finish the story, simply clean up anything you decided not to do previously, whether it be side missions, vehicle missions, hidden packages, unique jumps, rampages, import/export lists, or just miscellaneous trophies.

King of Liberty City Unlock all trophies. |
||
Earn all other trophies in GTA III Definitive Edition (PS4/PS5 Remaster) to unlock Platinum.
First Day on the Job Complete “Luigi’s Girls”. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
This is the first mission in the game which simply introduces you to mechanics. |
||
Without a Scratch Deliver Mike Lips’ car without a scratch on first attempt. |
||
Missable!
Mission: Mike Lips Last Lunch (Joey) For this mission you are tasked with stealing Mike Lips’ car, rigging it with a car bomb, and returning the car where you found it. To complete the trophy you must do this whole process without damaging the car at all. Take care while driving and keep an eye out for nearby cars, as civilians love to merge lanes at full speed. If you damage the car, you will be instructed to go repair it at the Pay’n’Spray, which will fail the trophy. In the event this happens, you can simply fail the mission by blowing up the car, getting wasted or busted and restart it to try again. |
||
Escape Artist Use 20 police bribes. |
||
Police bribes are floating police badges that can be found around the game, which when picked up will remove 1 level from your wanted level. This will likely come naturally, but in the event it doesn’t you can get up to 6 police bribes to spawn at your safehouse by completing the Vigilante missions. Once you have some at your safehouse, simply get a wanted level, collect the bribes and repeat.
Disposing of the Evidence Crush a car at the junkyard. |
||
The junkyard can be found in Harwood in Portland. You can take cars here and leave them in the cordoned off area to have the crane collect it and put it in the crusher. This will be done as a part of the mission “Dead Skunk in the Trunk” for Joey.
Mob Boss Keep the two mafia members alive during “Triads and Tribulations”. |
||
Missable!
Mission: Triads and Tribulations (Toni) For this mission you are tasked with killing 3 Triad Warlords, and have 2 Mafia members tag along to assist you. There are 2 Triad Warlords in Chinatown, while a third one is behind the walls of their Fish Factory. As long as you don’t get into any extended fights with the Triads then the Mafia members should survive without too much hassle. This is easiest with an Uzi, as the first warlord in Chinatown you can simply kill via drive-by. The second warlord is in the walking-only section of Chinatown and is the only time your Mafia members might be at risk, but as long as you quickly run and kill the warlord before returning to your car, they should be safe. The last warlord at the Fish Factory can be killed with no threat by going up the slight hill behind the Fish Factory and shooting him over the wall. In the event either of the Mafia members die, simply fail the mission by getting busted or wasted and restart it to try again. |
||
Street Sweeper Waste 100 gang members. |
||
There are 7 gangs in the game: Triads, Mafia, Diablos, Columbian Cartel, Yakuza, Yardies and Southside Hoods. Kill a total of 100 members from these gangs for the trophy. This will come naturally, in particular while doing the rampages.
Planned Ahead Take out Chunky Lee Chong with a car rigged with a bomb. |
||
Missable!
Mission: Farewell ‘Chunky’ Lee Chong (Joey) For this mission you are tasked with killing ‘Chunky’ Lee Chong in Chinatown. Normally when you get close to his Punk Noodles stand, he would flee to his car down an alleyway and you would be forced to chase him down and kill him. However with 8-Ball’s bomb service unlocked in Joey’s previous mission, you can take advantage of that to get this trophy. Once you start the mission, head to Chinatown and go to the southeast, where you will find Chunky’s Perennial parked around the corner from where he is. Grab his car and take it to 8-Ball in Harwood, and rig it with a car bomb. Once rigged with the car bomb, return the car to where you found it, and trigger the bomb with . Then go around to the north entrance of the alley where Chunky is to make him flee. Make sure you come in from in the north, as if you come in from the south he will out the opposite way and no get in his car. Once he gets into his car, it will blow up and you will get the trophy. In the event you fail to rig the bomb or forget to trigger it, simply fail the mission by letting Chunky escape and restart it to try again. |
||
Got This Figured Out Use a coach to pick up all 8 prostitutes in the mission “The Fuzz Ball”. |
||
Missable!
Mission: The Fuzz Ball (Luigi) For this mission you are tasked with picking up at least 4 of 8 prostitutes around Portland delivering them to the Old School Hall. In order to get this trophy though, you will first need to get a coach. You can find a coach at the bus depot just east of Joey’s Garage. Once you have the coach, simply drive around and collect all 8 prostitutes. The coach can hold all of you at once. Once all 8 prostitutes are on board, head to the Old School Hall and the trophy will pop immediately upon dropping them off, even if they don’t all get off the coach in time. There is plenty of time to complete this even with getting the coach after the timer starts, but in the event you struggle for time you can grab a coach from the bus depot before you start the mission. |
||
By a Mile Complete the “Turismo” race in under 180 seconds. |
||
Mission: Turismo (El Burro)
Turismo is the first pay phone mission you get from El Burro in Portland. You will be tasked with racing around Portland, hitting checkpoints along the way. There are 3 opponents in sports cars, but don’t let that fool you as it’s very easy to get in the lead and win this with plenty of time to spare. As long as you have a half decent car like a Stallion or a Sentinel you will be able to get a firm lead very early on, just make sure not to flip or wreck your car and this shouldn’t be an issue. In the event you complete the mission but are over 180 seconds, you can replay the Turismo race after completing all of El Burro’s pay phone missions. |
||
Wreckless Driving Perform a perfect insane stunt. |
||
Perfect insane stunts are for launching a vehicle off any sort of ramp and landing it cleanly on your wheels. While this may not happen naturally, it absolutely will happen while you do the 20 unique jumps for Wheels Up .
Wheels Up Complete 20 unique jumps. |
||
Unique Jumps are specific jumps off makeshift ramps that require you to land in a specific zone or area to complete. When you initiate a Unique Jump, your camera will slow down and go into cinematic mode, and if you are successful there will be a text notification on screen indicating this. They can be found across all three islands with varying levels of difficulty. These are best done with sports cars such as the Banshee, Cheetah or Infernus.
For a complete list of Unique Jumps, please see GTA 3 Definitive Edition – All Unique Jump Locations. |
||
Come Out to Play-y-y-y Kill 25 gang members with melee weapons / fists. |
||
This is best done against either Triads or Diablos, as these gang members only ever have baseball bats and pistols. Get a baseball bat from your safehouse and head into one of their territories (either Chinatown or Hepburn Heights), and kill any that you find.
Where To? Complete 100 taxi fares. |
||
Taxi Driver missions will require either a Taxi or Cabbie. When in a Taxi or Cabbie, you can start Taxi Driver mission by pressing . You will need to complete an overall total of 100 fares to complete this, and it does not need to be done in a single sitting or on any particular island. This will simply require driving from point A to point B, picking up fares and dropping them off. As the game has a tendency to crash, it is recommend to only do about 25 fares at a time before saving, so that you don’t lose all your progress in the event of a crash.
Once you complete 100 total fares, you will unlock the Borgnine Taxi at the taxi company in Harwood. |
||
Liberty City Minute Survive with less than 10 hp for 1 minute. |
||
You don’t need to be in combat for this, so simply get down below 10 HP by any means (fighting someone with a pistol or fists is easiest). Once you are below 10 HP, get out of combat and after a minute the trophy will pop.
Full Artillery Use every weapon in the game at least once. |
||
There are 12 weapons in the game to use, all of which you will use naturally if you are doing all the rampages (with the exception of fists/baseball bat). If you are not doing the rampages, you will be able to access all the weapons from collecting all hidden packages, completing the firefighter mission, or buying them from Ammu-Nation or Phil’s Army Surplus.
|
||
A Marked Man Complete “Last Requests”. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
Last Requests is the final mission for Salvatore Leone, and is also the last mission on Portland. For this you will simply take a boat ride over to Staunton Island. Before you complete this mission, make sure you have completed all missions for Luigi and Joey, otherwise they will be missed! |
||
Offshore Delivery Complete “A Drop in the Ocean”. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
A Drop in the Ocean is the 3rd mission for Donald Love, and completing it will unlock Shoreside Vale. You will take a boat to the end of the airport runway, where you will await a plane that you must shoot down. Once you shoot it down and collect the packages from the water, you will need to return to Donald Love’s building with a 4-star wanted level. |
||
Not So Fast Complete “The Exchange”. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed.
The Exchange is the final mission in the game, and can be started at the Cartel Mansion in Cedar Grove. For this mission you will need to fight your way out of the mansion, then follow Catalina’s helicopter to the dam, where you’ll fight through more cartel. Once you reach the helipad at the end of the dam, you will receive a rocket launcher, with which you can shoot down Catalina’s helicopter. After completing this mission you will gain access to the Rhino tank at Phil’s Army Surplus at the northern point of Staunton Island, but at the same time the Colombian Cartel will upgrade their weapons to uzis and AK-47s, so it’s best to hold off doing this mission until you’ve done all rampages/vehicle missions around Shoreside Vale. |
||
A Gift from the King Complete the “Kingdom Come” mission. |
||
Kingdom Come is the final pay phone mission for King Courtney, which is located at the pay phone in Staunton Island. For this mission you will have to drive to a carpark in Bedford Heights and enter a vehicle. Upon doing so several suicide bombers will arrive in vans. Bombers will spawn from these trucks until they are destroyed, so destroy all four while being chased (this is best done with grenades as you can drop them near the vans while running). Once all vans and bombers are destroyed, the mission is completed.
Upon completing this mission, the Yardies will become hostile towards you, so it is advised to hold off completing this mission until you have done all Yardie-related rampages. |
||
Man Toyz Complete every RC Toyz mission. |
||
There are 4 RC Missions in the game, and these can be activated by getting into a parked TOYZ van at their respective spawns. These do no appear on the map at all, but their locations can be found on the map below. These missions will require you to blow up a certain type of gang car as many times as possible in 2 minutes, using a remote explosive. For the purpose of the trophy though (and for 100% progress), you will only need to destroy one car for each mission to count.
|
||
Splish Splash Extinguish 15 fires during a single Fire Truck mission. |
||
You will want to do this while working towards completing the Firefighter mission, which requires extinguishing 20 fires on each island, for a total of 60. Extinguishing 15 fires in one attempt isn’t too hard, as long as you don’t have hostile gang members trying to destroy your fire truck. This is best done on Portland before the Triads or Mafia are hostile, as it is the smallest island and fires are easy to get to. You will quickly build up extra time while doing this so you can take your time with it. Be careful not to accidentally ram into one of the burning vehicles however, as this will blow it up and end the mission immediately.
Playing Doctor Complete Paramedic level 12. |
||
Paramedic missions will require an Ambulance. You will need to complete all 12 levels of the Paramedic mission in one go to complete this, which makes this the hardest of the 4 vehicle missions. This mission tasks you with picking up injured civilians around the map, and returning them to the hospital, granting time both on pick up and (sometimes) on drop off, with the number required to rescue going up by 1 every level. The Ambulance has very poor handling and can flip very easily, so while doing this it is recommended to drive cautiously, and brake with when going around corners to avoid flipping. It is highly recommended to do this on Portland before completing any story missions, as it is the smallest island and the easiest to navigate, plus has no default hostile gangs. Use your map to plan your route for picking up injured civilians, as your Ambulance can only hold 3 people at a time, so on higher levels you will need to do multiple trips.
If you didn’t complete this on Portland and have to do it with the gangs being hostile, your best bet is to do it on Staunton Island while attempting to avoid the Yardies and Colombian Cartel in the north area of Staunton Island. Gang members can very quickly destroy your Ambulance with their guns and there is no way to repair your Ambulance during a Paramedic mission, so you will have to avoid gang members at all costs. Once you complete level 12 in one sitting, you will unlock unlimited sprint. |
||
Going Rogue Kill 15 criminals during one Vigilante mission. |
||
You will want to do this while working towards completing the Vigilante mission, which requiring killing 20 criminals on each island, for a total of 60. This is best done on Portland before the Triads or Mafia are hostile, as it is the smallest island. In order to do these efficiently on Portland however, you will need an Uzi to perform drive-bys, which you can get either by collecting 20 Hidden Packages, or by completing Joey’s “Cipriani’s Chauffeur” mission to unlock it at Ammu-Nation. With this you can deal with the criminals without threat from gangs, however you will still get wanted levels, in which case use the police bribes around the island while doing the mission.
In the event you are unable to do it on Portland, you can do it either with an FBI Car (obtained from FBI at wanted level 5) or a Rhino (obtained from the Army at wanted level 6, or Phil’s Army Surplus after completing “The Exchange”). This will make it significantly easier as the FBI Car can be resprayed to repair the car and lose your wanted level, whereas the Rhino can simply destroy all vehicles with its cannon. |
||
Dirty Money Amass a fortune of $1,000,000. |
||
$1,000,000 sounds like a lot, but it’s really not much at all. Over the course of completing everything else, you will likely have over $7,000,000. Collecting all Hidden Packages alone will grant you $1,000,000.
Right-hand Man Earn a criminal rating of 2,500. |
||
Criminal Rating is a general statistic of how much mayhem you have caused in Liberty City. It will go up based on NPCs killed, vehicles blown up and damage done. Completing everything else in the game will get you above 5,000 criminal rating, so this will likely come naturally while working towards other trophies. you can see your Criminal Rating at the top of the stats screen.
Furious First Responder Complete Paramedic, Firefighter, Vigilante. |
||
In order to unlock this, you will need to complete the three emergency vehicle missions.
Paramedic missions will require an Ambulance, and you will need to complete all 12 levels in one go. For details on Paramedic, please see Playing Doctor . Completing the Paramedic mission will grant you unlimited sprint. Firefighter missions will require a Fire Truck. You will need to put out 20 fires on each of the 3 islands, for a total of 60 fires put out. You will need to extinguish 15 fires in a single go for Splish Splash , but otherwise you can do these 20 fires in as many attempts as you wish. This is the easiest of the vehicle missions, as the fires are usually pretty close together and there is little to no threat while doing them (unless gangs are hostile). Once you extinguish 20 fires on each island and complete the Firefighter mission, you will unlock the flamethrower at your safehouses. Vigilante missions will require any law enforcement vehicle, including the Police Car, FBI Car, Enforcer and Rhino. You will need to kill 20 criminals on each of the 3 islands, for a total of 60 criminal kills. You will need to kill 15 criminals in a single go for Going Rogue , but otherwise you can do these 20 criminal kills in as many attempts as you wish. Vigilante can be a bit annoying to do, as the criminals will drive very recklessly and can be difficult to stop at times. The best way to do this is either by spinning out the car with a PIT maneuver and blocking it so the criminal gets out, using an Uzi to perform drive-bys on the car until it catches fire, or by using an M16 or Rocket Launcher to destroy a car by intercepting its path. If you have an FBI Car (obtained from FBI at wanted level 5) or a Rhino (obtained from the Army at wanted level 6, or Phil’s Army Surplus after completing “The Exchange”), this can be made significantly easier as the FBI Car can be resprayed to repair the car and lose your wanted level, whereas the Rhino can simply destroy all vehicles with its cannon. For Portland in particular, it is recommended to either collect 20 Hidden Packages to get access to the Uzi at your safehouse, or complete “Cipriani’s Chauffeur” to unlock the Uzi at Ammu-Nation, so that you are able to do the mission without the Mafia being hostile, as when hostile they have Shotguns and will destroy your vehicle almost instantly. For every 10 criminals you kill on each island, you will unlock a police bribe at your safehouses, for a total of 6 police bribes. |
||
Liberty City Secrets Collect 100 hidden packages. |
||
There are 100 Hidden Packages in the game, and these are your typical collectibles. Every 10 packages you collect will unlock a weapon/item at your safehouses. Many of these are hidden in obscure or hard to access areas. Below are the rewards for collecting them:
For a complete list of Hidden Packages, please see GTA 3 Definitive Edition – All Hidden Package Locations. |
||
Is That All You’ve Got? Achieve 100% completion. |
||
Glitched and Missable!
Glitch Note: When going for 100%, do not leave the pay phone mission “Kingdom Come” until last. If this is your final item for 100% completion, Is That All You’ve Got? will not pop despite it saying 100% completion in your stats. Make sure you leave something else to complete last. 100% completion is what you’ll be working towards the whole time while playing this, and aside from a few miscellaneous trophies it will encompass everything. Your completion percentage can be seen at any time on the stats screen. In order to get 100% completion, you will need to complete the following:
Several of the main story missions can be missed if done in the incorrect order, and most other content (like Rampages and Vehicle Missions) are made noticeably harder if you don’t do them before doing Story/Pay Phone Missions that make the gangs hostile. For a complete guide towards 100%, please see GTA 3 Definitive Edition – 100% Completion Guide & Checklist. |

Thank you for the trophy guide. When I saw you were the first person to earn the Platinum trophy on PSNProfiles and that you were a guide writer for PowerPyx, I thought that a trophy guide was probably incoming but didn’t expect it to be so soon. I’m assuiming this means that Vice City and San Andreas Definitive Editions will also get trophy guides which I’m looking forward to (good luck with Take the Cannoli).
This trilogy isn’t exactly being received well because of the bugs and crashes so I guess I’ll wait for patches before buying the PS4 physical edition (which isn’t even releasing until 7th December 2021).
JawD says
Is it recommended to do going rogue when you got the tank?
Archavia says
I did it on Portland with a regular Police Car and an Uzi to perform drive-bys, but if you’re struggling to complete it that way (or the gangs are hostile), then it is probably worth waiting until you have a tank or FBI car to try it that way.
JawD says
I just finished Going Rogue. If you want to do it in Portland, then I highly recommend getting the Uzi. You can repair your cop car by parking it in your garage(safehouse). Park the car against the wall so it’s all in, go outside the garage and let the door close. When you re-open the door your police car will be fixed. Note that the time still ticks.

Phew, I wasn’t aware of missable story missions but managed to complete 73/73
thank you for the guide!

OMG PARAMEDIC MISION IS SO HARD !!!!
anyone got ideas how to pass it ?
TeppichPilot says
I got it nearly two times (f’ing game crashed both times in mission 12). It is not that difficult if you try to plan ahead.
– Once a new Mission starts (Blinking time), look at the map and plan a route to get 2 or 3 people.
– If you are low on time, get the 2 or 3 people nearest to your position.
– Don’t drive too fast and don’t break too hard, in other words avoid risky maneuvers overall.
– Try not to take any wrong turns, instead use the map and count the crossings or learn the map.
– Accelerate once a patient starts his animation to enter, the animations prevents him from falling off.
– Just hope the f’ing game doesn’t crash!
It is not that hard after all, all you need is a little bit of patience and practice.
Chris says
Start a new game. That’s what I did. Do it on the 1st Island. Do it before you do any missions. So no gangs are hostile. This is very important… take your time… I can’t say that enough. Trust me. You have time to finish it. You don’t have to rush. I got it in one try.

Hi guys,
is it normal that the rampages in gta 3 are not listed in the stats?

Yes not trackable sadly

Awesome, thanks for this
May I ask if there will be roadmaps for Vice City and San Andreas in the future? Appreciate these aren’t small projects

While I was able to get the GTA3 guide out quickly, I’m now currently in the process of moving houses so the VC/SA guides will take a bit longer, potentially a couple of weeks.

You write “You will also need to complete 100 Taxi Fares, put out 20 fires as a Firefighter, and kill 20 criminals as a Vigilante.” – Isn’t it 15 fires and killing 15 criminals? Or is there something I miss?
And thank you for your work. Always helpful. 🙂
flo82stgt says
I just saw it’s 20 for the Rockstar Social Club Achievement. But only 15 for the PS Trophy.

The reason I wrote 20 is because to complete the Firefighter and Vigilante missions, you need to do 20 of those on each island, for a total of 60. Those don’t need to be done in a single attempt, whereas the trophies for 15 do need to be done in a single attempt. I’ll re-iterate it in the road map so as to avoid confusion.

Thanks a lot. I got it now. 🙂

it is 15 also for the rockstar social club pal

HUGE ISSUE!!!!!
I finished the game and as I completed the last mission, which also put my game at 100%, “Not So Fast”, “Is That All You’ve Got”, and “King of Liberty City” all popped. But when I go to my trophies, it says I do not have “Is That All You Got” (100% Completion) and “King of Liberty City” (Platinum)!!!
I restarted my PS5, and I reloaded the game. I don’t have a recent save before doing everything and the only way I know to MAYBE get these to work is to play the whole damn game again…
Crosvale says
Added info: When I go offline, my PS5 has GTA3 listed as completed and I do, in fact, have those two trophies. When I go back online, it reverts back to 91% with 27/29 trophies. I have no idea how to fix this. It also shows the same on psnprofiles…
PowerPyx says
This sounds like it didn’t sync the trophies. Go to your trophy list > press options button > sync with PlayStation network. Normally, it automatically syncs as soon as you earned a trophy, but sometimes it’s buggy and needs to be done manually like this 🙂
As long as it shows all trophies offline you must’ve earned them and it just didn’t sync automatically to online servers.
Crosvale says
Yeah, I synced it manually, and apparently it took a few hours to update. My heart sank for a while there. xD
Hitecherous says
I can’t get the Wreckless Driving trophy to pop after doing tons of perfect insane stunts and all the unique jumps on Portland. Anybody else have this problem?
Crosvale says
Mine popped on the normal stunt jumps, where you just land a jump that isn’t a slow motion insane stunt jump. This was also before I even attempted the 20 insane stunt jumps, so I was never able to verify if those count.
Miguel Angel Flores says
Start a new game just for that trophy. It was bugged for me too and it worked right away on a new game and then simply went back to my other save.
Tev says
Is it possible to do level 12 paramedic after beating all the other missions? ?
JawD says
It’s damn near impossible. It’s already hard to do so without gang aggro. Mafia shotguns 1/2 shot your van and with the cartel having AKs. Try it on staunton island, but be aware driving around the construction so you don’t get blown up by the cartel.
GrimZKnight says
I used all my weapons multiple times throughout the game. Still haven’t received the “Full Artillery” trophy. Any advice to gets this completed.
ActionVestAdventure says
The trophy didn’t pop for me until I did the El Burro phone mission, “You Scream, I Scream”. Apparently using the remote detonator to blow up the ice cream van counted as part of the Full Arsenal trophy.

I made a comment in one of the sub-guides but want to repost it here so nobody else runs into the same problem as me.
The last thing I needed to do for 100% was the Kingdom Come mission, but when I completed it even thought it shows 100% it my stats, the trophy did not unlock.
I was lucky enough to have a save before that and right before I delivered a Rhino tank to complete an import list. I reloaded here, completed the Kingdom come mission BEFORE I turned in the Rhino for import this time, and when I dropped off the Rhino the trophy unlocked this time.
I am not sure why it did not unlock the first time, but I would strongly suggest making many saves and leaving at least 2 different tasks/missions to complete just in case the 100% trophy does not pop for one of them. DO NOT DO KINGDOM COME AS THE LAST THING FOR 100%. It’s what caused the problem for me, I’m not sure if the final D-Ice phone mission might cause the same issue.
Whatsmyname says
I have the exact same issue – last mission was “Kingdom Come”. Completed it to get 100% but the trophy didn’t pop. So now I’m at a loss as to what to do as I don’t have a recent backup save.
gerardo says
@Whatsmyname says bro what you did to resolve the problem?
SBlue says
So I just finished the game and did most of the trophies. I wasn’t aware of the missable trophies. Can I start a new file and still do the 100% completion?
Sulej says
I have problem with unique stunt jumps. I did all of them one by one twice already and still have 19 out of 20… Any ideas what to do? Need this for trophy and 100% completion.
deathbunny says
Maybe you missed #10 in the guide? It’s hard to trigger sometimes, need to make sure you get the slow motion cutscene after you go off the stairs. I found that I needed a fast car and to back up all the way down the sloped driveway leading up to it.
Nicko Bennert says
Hi guys,
i dont think you need the rampages for 100%. There is no trophy for this anymore and its not listed in the stats. Moreover, i did all of them and the completion was not grown up only by one percent.
David says
I have obtained 100% but completing all tasks. This is backed up by the completion rating of 100% as well. However, no trophy for “That’s all you got?” has popped up. I have no entered any cheats either. Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?
Archavia says
What was the last thing you completed towards 100%? Do you have any previous saves you can revert to and try again?
Whatsmyname says
Same issue here, but unfortunately no solution and the only place I found anyone speaking about it online was here.

Had the same problem with certain trophies not syncing, went to the trophy list and manually performed the sync operation. By pressing options on the game, the trophies would show when i was offline and under notifications. So, i had obviously earned them. Oftentimes if a trophy doesn’t show up, you can look under notifications and if it shows the trophy press X on it and it’ll take you directly to the trophy list where it’ll perform the sync operation if any trophy didn’t sync properly.
It might be because Sony didn’t update the servers with new releases, when Star Ocean The Last Hope was ported on PS4 you could earn trophies but they wouldn’t sync. Same with Trials of Cold Steel, because Sony didn’t update the servers with new releases. Just be sure the dev’s and Sony are aware if the trophies don’t sync properly.
I’ve also had certain trophy list show up in foreign languages on Psnprofiles it was English but on PSN the trophy list was a foreign language. Just be sure the dev’s and Sony are aware if the trophies don’t sync properly for whatever reason.

For “Playing Doctor”, I’m trying to get it after making the Triads hostile. I got to Level 9 on my first try and didn’t see one of them coming up to rip me out of the ambulance. I’m wondering if anyone else beat it this way? I saw somewhere that your ambulance heals slightly after you drop off each patient but I’m wondering if that’s confirmed anywhere.
Also, if I go back to an earlier save and get the trophy separately from everything else, will I still unlock “Furious First Responder”? I have the firefighter and vigilante trophies. Curious if it pops based on the trophies being unlocked or if it has to be on the same save file. Thanks to anyone with some answers.
domatron660289 says
Unfortunately completing paramedic lvl 12 is required for 100% completition .
So if going for the platinum your question is irrelevant. because it needs to be done in one save for 100% anyway. You don’t wanr to waste time doing it twice on 2 different saves.
you have 2 options (3 depending how far into the game you are.
1) you either go back to an earlier save do the paramedic missions & re do EVERYTHING else
2) You keep trying again, hope for good rng about drop off locations…avoiding mafia if they have shotguns (try different islands might be easier that way)
& if you haven’t completed the other 2 islands you can :
3) go to another island, where gangs aren’t hostile yet. Staunton island is the ideal option (again if none of the gangs are hostile yet)
shoreshide vale gangs are hostile to begin with but don’t have super powerful weapons…though they will try throw you out of any vehicle if they can. (at least when you first gain access to it)
akashvercetti says
I have done level 12 paramedic, 60 vigilante kills (can see 6 stars at safehouse) and 66 fires. I made sure i did 20 per island. Still, the “Furious First Responder” trophy didn’t pop. Is it bugged?
domatron660289 says
each task gives rewards for completing :
Paramedic is infinite running
vigilante is 6 police bribes at safehouses
firefighter is the flamethrower (spawns with other weapons at safehouse)
if you’ve got all those then there likely is a trophy bug

I’m after having same issue with the 100 percent trophy. I’ve no save game before it either ??? does this mean I need to start again?
gerardo says
bro what you did to resolve this?
Temsor1214 says
Quick one, I think i know the answer to already..
Literally Just started my way through this guide but already completed fuzzball and missed the got this figured out trophy. As i still completed the mission, i can still continue this play through and still get the 100%? Only if it doesn’t glitch ?

Does the import export list count as a mission I’m 72 out of 73 but I want to make sure this is a moon and I didn’t just miss one
