Gran Turismo Sport – Fast XP & Money Exploit Glitch

November 7, 2017 by dalailama1989 3 Comments

This Exploit was fixed with Patch 1.06.
Stalling the patch doesn’t work either. If you start the game without the latest patch, the game doesn’t save. You can play the Custom Race pointed out below, but – as mentioned – can’t save. You will have to close the Game for the Patch to install, so everything you do while “offline” is time wasted.

As of Patch 1.05, there is an XP/money glitch in Gran Turismo Sport which can be used to get huge amounts of XP in a short amount of time. Be sure to use this before it will get patched in the future.

Basically, the whole glitch can be explained in one sentence: If you reverse into the pit-lane, the game will set you right in front of the finish line. This way you can easily win every race within seconds. To maximize the XP you get, find some information below:

  • Select Custom Race in the Arcade-tab of the Menu
  • Select the track Nürburgring 24h. This is the longest track in the game but only unlocks if you reached Level 20. If you are below 20, use the method on another track.
  • Choose the Mazda MX5 (or any other car you own from the N100 class), pick color and transmission to your liking
  • Set these parameters to get the maximum amount of possible XP:
    • Number of Laps: 1
    • Number of Cars: 20
    • Starting Grid: 20
    • Rolling Start Interval: 25 m
    • Boost: off
    • Opponent Category: Gr.1
    • Opponent Difficulty: Professional
  • These settings should show the rewards 141,000 Credits and 1,400 XP on the left side
  • Now simply start the race and once you get close to the pit-lane, brake and drive in the pit-lane in reverse
  • The game will now set you on the track again and you can just drive across the finish line
  • If you managed to do this without leaving the track or bumping into the walls, you will get the 150% bonus – yielding 2,100 XP
  • Rinse and repeat as often as you like. Each try should take you about one minute

See video below for visual help:

The money you earn with this glitch can be invested in many different cars. There are a number of in-game-achievements tied to prize money and cars bought. Finishing each tier will give even extra XP to you.
This glitch can also be used in a few other races, like the last Driving School Challenge.

This works for one-lap races only. I don’t think I have encountered online-races that short. But it’s an interesting thought 🙂

Hi. I drive this perfectly but don’t get a bonus. Any idea why not?
