Gotham Knights HQ01: Harley Quinn Walkthrough

HQ01: Harley Quinn is a Villain Case (Side Mission) in Gotham Knights. This walkthrough will guide you through all Sub-Chapters and Objectives of the HQ01: Harley Quinn side case quest.

Requirement: having finished Main Case 01: Batman’s Last Case

Mission Info: The Freaks have been recruiting well-to-do Gotham citizens with no criminal records to help in their crimes. They’ve been prescribed pills from a “Dr. Q” and were spouting slogans about living their best lives. Clearly. Harley’s back in the game.

1.1 – Harley Returns

Citizen Chaos – Bomb Threat

This objective is in North Gotham, marked by an orange Bomb Symbol on the map. You have to save the hostages by Disarming their bombs. To disarm them approach each hostage and just press and hold /  to disarm the bomb. You can do this stealthily or not. But if you get spotted here, you have 60 seconds to disarm the bombs, in this case, you just can run to each hostage and disarm the bombs. If you defeat all enemies and if you remain undetected, you get bonus XP after finishing this objective.

Citizen Chaos – Kidnapping in Progress

Right after the first objective, this one will appear on the map in North Gotham. Here you just have to defeat all enemies. To get the bonus XP after this objective you have to defeat 2 enemies with perfect attacks. A perfect attack is done by doing a perfect evade (dodging an enemy attack just before he hit you) with  / , and attacking immediately after.

Citizen Chaos – Armored Truck Robbery

Right after the second objective, this one will appear on the map in North Gotham. Again you just have to defeat all enemies here. To get bonus XP after this objective, you need to defeat two enemies with a ranged attack, you have to press  /  to do a ranged attack. Also, don’t let them steal all the money, or else this bonus objective is failed.

Return to Belfry

To finish this subchapter, just fast-travel into your HQ.

1.2 – Dr. Q at Monarch Theater

To start this subcase, you have to be inside Belfry, your HQ, or else you can not start this subcase. Inside your HQ open up the Batcomputer and select this subcase and hold  , a cutscene will start.

Reach the back alley

After the cutscene, you will be outside of your HQ in Gotham. Just go to the alley near you, it’s marked with a white icon on your screen.

Defeat the Freaks x4

Defeat all four enemies in the alley.

Enter through the secret entrance

Follow the white square and enter the backside of the alley.

After going down the stairs you will find the secret entrance behind a fence, you have to crouch and walk in.

Infiltrate the Monarch Theater

Inside the building just follow the path, there is just one way.

Shortly after entering the building, you have to use your grappling hook to get up a wall.

Follow the way, and you will come across a crossing, it does not matter which way you choose, because you will end up in a room with enemies either way. For the next objective, it is recommended to use the left way, which will make the Bonus objective easier.

Defeat the Freaks x3

• BONUS: Avoid taking damage (Bonus reward: 155XP, 93 Common Crafting Material)

You will reach a room with three enemies. You don’t have to be stealthy but for the Bonus objective, kill them stealthily with “Silent Takedown” in the following order.

Find a way to move the stage set

After defeating all three enemies you have to move the stage, the Switch is next to the third enemy you defeated.

Defeat the Freaks x3

The stage will now open and three more enemies will appear, just defeat them.

Scan the crates

Inside the room that you just opened, scan the crates on the left side by pressing  to open the AR scanner.

Defeat the Freaks reinforcements

Another door will open and three more enemies will appear.

Reach the upper floor

After defeating the three enemies, enter the door and follow the path. There is only one way.

Clear the Freaks from the upstairs x5

• BONUS: Remain undetected

You will reach a floor with a few enemies, you don’t have to be stealthy but there is a bonus objective that will get you some extra XP for being stealthy.

Locate Harley Quinn

After defeating the enemies, follow the only way open to proceed.

Locate Harley Quinn

• Clear the Freaks from the backstage x5
• BONUS: Perform Silent Takedowns x3  (Bonus reward: 47 Rare Crafting Material)

You will reach a room with some more enemies. Be aware that there is a Bonus objective for doing three Silent Takedowns. Look down below for how to do this. Use the grappling hook above the first enemy to defeat him.

Right after this get back up from where you defeated the first enemy and look to the left and use your grappling hook to get to the second enemy.

Again get back up from where you killed the second enemy and look to your left and use the grappling hook once more.

Now defeat the remaining two enemies in any way you like.

Locate Harley Quinn

After defeating all enemies, go through the gate in the middle of the room.

Reach the stage

Follow the way to reach the stage, a cutscene will start. After this cutscene, a boss fight will start.

Defeat Basher

You have to defeat Basher, but first, defeat the little guy in the rat mask first, or else he will heal Basher over time. To damage him, hold  /  to do a heavy melee attack. Now attack him however you like. Also after a while, some enemies will appear.

After defeating Basher another cutscene will start and will lead to another fight.

Defeat Blazer

Blazer will appear, he’s a stronger version of Basher. He will bring some smaller enemies with him, defeat them first or they might give you problems because they throw Molotov cocktails.

Another cutscene will start after defeating Blazer.

Disarm the bombs

You will be in a room with tv screens and bombs. Go to the bomb that is armed and disarm it by press and hold  / 

Defeat the Freaks reinforcements x4

• Disarm the bombs

Enemies will appear but also the bombs will arm themself over and over again. So defeat all enemies as quickly as you can. You have to disarm the bombs each time within 30 seconds or you will die and start from checkpoint.

Defeat Basher and Blazer

• Disarm the bombs

This part will be annoying, Basher and Blazer will appear including some smaller enemies, and also the bombs will arm themself again over and over again. You have to disarm the bombs each time within 30 seconds or you will die and start from checkpoint.

Disarm the bombs

After defeating Basher and Blazer again, all bombs in this room will be armed and you have to disarm them all.

Now another cutscene will start which will end this subcase.

1.3 – Paging Dr. Q

Talk to Alfred

After the previous Harley Quinn 1.2 Subchapter, you will be in your HQ. Now talk to Alfred.

Dr. Q’s Lab Rats

Exit the HQ after talking to Alfred and go to the Orange Marker on the East Side of the Map in Tricorner Island. You can enter the building anywhere you like.

 

There are two Bonus Objectives you can do here, for one of them you have to defeat one enemy with a heavy melee attack. You have to hold  /  to do a heavy melee attack.

For the second Bonus Objective, you have to perform a Grab Strike. For this, you need to weaken an enemy until you can grab him with  /  , now press  /  to do an Grab Strike.

This will finish this objective.

Dr. Q Offline

Now the next objective will be in North Gotham. It does not matter where you enter the building.

 

There are two Bonus Objectives again you can do here, for one of them you have to defeat two enemies with a Ranged Attack. You have to press and hold  /  to do a Ranged Attack. Can be combined with the second Bonus Objective.

For the second Bonus Objective, you have to defeat one enemy with a Momentum Abilitie. You have to press / and / or / or /     to trigger an Momentum Abilitie, it does not matter which one you choose.

Defeating all Enemies will end this Subcase.

1.4 – Chaos in General

To start this quest, you have to go into Belfry (your HQ)

Return to the Belfry

Just fast travel to your HQ, open the Batcomputer and Launch the Mission.

A cutscene will start. After a minute, a loading screen will appear. Press  /  to continue here. Then another little cutscene will start.

Reach the center of the riot

After both cutscenes, just walk forward to reach the riot.

Defeat the rioters

Defeat all enemies here.

Scan the Civilian

After defeating all enemies, scan the civilian sitting next to the flipped-over ambulance.

Search for the source of the signal

Now turn to the right after scanning the civilian and walk down the street to an ice cream truck.  Just scan the inside of the ice cream truck with the AR by holding  .

Disable the ice cream truck’s signal

After scanning the ice cream truck disable the signal by pressing and holding /  .

Enter the Gotham City General Hospital

Now enter the hospital to the right of the ice cream truck via the rooftop.

Search the hospital

Inside the hospital follow the way, there is only one way.

Find the security office

Just go upstairs and follow the given path.

Find the security office

• Defeat the Harley Devotees x3

You will reach a room with three enemies, defeat them.

Find the security office

After defeating the enemies, go ahead and jump down the elevator shaft.

Find the security office

• Defeat the Harley Devotees x3

After the elevator shaft, you will see an explosion that opens a way to the next room with enemies. Defeat them.

Find the security office

Now go ahead and follow the quest marker.

• Defeat the Freaks x5

You will reach a new room with enemies, and defeat them.

After defeating the enemies, open the door and follow the way.

Again you will reach a room with enemies, defeat them.

After the room with two enemies, follow the only way. You have to use your grappling hook to get up here to proceed.

Shortly after you will reach the chapel.

Save the Citizens

• Defeat the Freaks x6
• BONUS: Avoid taking damage

Inside the chapel, you have to defeat the enemies to save the Citizens.  To get the bonus objective you are not allowed to get hit.

Exit the chapel

Just get out of the chapel by going through the door.

Reach the security office

After the chapel continue your way to the security office.

• Defeat the Freaks x4

You will get to a room with some enemies, defeat them.

Two more enemies will appear, defeat them again.

Follow the quest marker to the security room.

Watch the security footage

Once you reached the security room, watch the security feed.

Reach the elevator

After watching the footage, turn around and exit through the door on the right to reach the elevator.

Press the elevator button to reach L3

Just press and hold  /  inside the elevator.

Reach the L3 wing

The elevator brings you near the L3 wing, at the end of the elevator ride a short cutscene will play.

Reach the L3 wing

• Defeat the Freaks x6 (changes to x8 after a few seconds)

Defeat the enemies that were introduced by the cutscene from above.

Reach the L3 wing

Continue your way to the L3 wing by entering the door that is marked on your screen.

Reach the cafeteria

• Defeat the Freaks x5

You will reach a corridor with a few different sideways, but they all lead to only one exit. Defeat all enemies here to proceed.

Defeat the Freaks x8 (changes to x11 after a few seconds)

• BONUS: Perform Silent Takedowns x6

You will enter another room with many enemies, defeat them all.

Crash Harley Quinn’s party

Crash through the window, and a cutscene with Harley Quinn will start.

Defeat Harley Quinn

A fight against Harley Quinn will start. The key here is to evade here attacks with  /  and attack here after that. The Drone Momentum ability is highly recommended here, it will heal you and also do damage to Harley. After you get her health bar down by a quarter, a cutscene will start.

Defeat the Harley Devotees x6

Harley Quinn will take a break and send some small enemies toward you.

After defeating the enemies, another small cutscene will start.

Defeat Harley Quinn

After you get her health bar down to under 50%, another small cutscene starts. The fight continues after the cutscene.

Watch out for the mines she throws. They can damage you badly.

When you defeated her, watch the final cutscene to finish Harley’s Villain Case.
