God of War World Serpent Armor Set Location (Tyr’s Temple)

This God of War Guide shows where to find the World Serpent Armor Set Location exclusively collected in the Tyr’s Temple Region. Unlike other armor sets it cannot be crafted, the only way to get it is to find it in the game world. All 3 parts are found in red chests and only in the Tyr’s Temple Region of Midgard.

None of these are missable. You can get all pieces after the story in free-roam.

Pauldrons of the World Serpent

All 3 pieces of the World Serpent Set are found in Tyr’s Temple, in the section under the temple with the tree that you need to flip over. This is not to be confused with the section that has the sand-bowl elevator. There are two sections under the Temple. The one we want is visited at the very end of the story just before the final boss. You can return here after the story to get all 3 armor pieces.

Start by going to the boat dock at Tyr’s Temple (Screenshot #1). Then run around the temple. At the back you can find a red door leading inside (Screenshot #3). Go through the door. Again, remember this is only unlocked at the very end of the story. It leads you to a dark circular room. Run in circles until you find a door of bright light opening up at the wall. This will lead downstairs to a room with 2 giant statues and an elevator lever (Screenshot #4).

Above the elevator hangs a miniature ship. Hit the plates on the side of it 2 times with the axe to turn it around (Screenshot #5). Then have Atreus shoot the crystal on it with blue arrows. The ground around the elevator will light up (in front of the 2 giant statues). Now turn around and two secret paths will have opened up (highlighted with red arrows in Screenshot #6). On either side there’s a red chest with a unique World Serpent Set piece. For this one we climb up the left side first, in the red chest are the Pauldrons of the World Serpent.

War Belt of the World Serpent

Exact same spot as the last chest, but this time climb up the path on the right side for the 2nd red chest that contains the War Belt of the World Serpent.

• Waist Armor: 10 Strength, 23 Runic, 32 Defence

Bracers of the World Serpent

From the last two pieces, use the elevator above which you just turned the miniature ship and lit the blue crystal. It brings you to the lowest level of the temple, where you have to destroy the 2 chains holding the tree in the story. Go through the path on the right side with the spike traps falling from the ceiling. Just after the spike trap is a circular room with a red chest in it. The red chest contains the Bracers of the World Serpent.

Those are all 3 locations of the World Serpent Armor Set pieces. Congrats, the set is complete and can now be equipped in the inventory.
