The Mysterious Orb is a Favor (Side Quest) for Lunda in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Mysterious Orb Side Quest. For an overview of all quests in the game see God of War Ragnarok All Favors.
Requirement: Available after returning Freyr’s Camp during Main Quest 6: The Reckoning
Reward: 1000 Kratos XP, 250 Freya XP, Lunda’s Lost Armor Set (if you get the broken armor pieces), New Friends 
Objectives:
- Find the orb
- Return the orb to Lunda
Starting Location: The Mysterious Orb
The Mysterious Orb can be started by talking to the dwarf Lunda in Freyr’s Camp, which can be done after returning to Freyr’s Camp during Main Quest 6: The Reckoning.
Find the orb
Row through the River Delta and land at Noatunn’s Garden.
Open the Chisel Door and open the chest to find Lunda’s Broken Cuirass.
Continue rowing south and land at the Cliffside Ruins.
Deal with the enemies then climb up. Head to the side room and clear the plants, then open the chest to find Lunda’s Broken Belt.
Jump across the platforms and use Freya’s runic arrows combined with your chaos blade flames to clear the bramble and lower the chain. Climb the chain and carve the rune in the stand to open the passage through the river.
Row down to Goddess Falls and head into the cave, The Veiled Passage.
Land at the beach and the orb will be right next to you. Pick it up. While you’re here, there’s some collectibles and more of Lunda’s armor to find. If you just want to finish the favor however, you can head back to Lunda directly.
Use the fire bomb dispenser to destroy the ore leading to the Nornir Chest, then use the fire bomb again combined with runic arrows to hit the bells on the wall opposite.
Get on your boat and head further down to the next beach, where you will see a standard red chest, which contains Lunda’s Broken Bracers.
Break the barrier, destroy the plants and climb the wall, where you will find a Lore Marker in a nook to your right. Now head to the ledge and you will see an Odin’s Raven perched on a high branch.
Continue forward dealing with the Sadir Fanatics, and near the ledge by the second group of Sadirs there will be a wooden barrier you can break to reveal an artefact.
Return the orb to Lunda
At the end of the tunnel is a chain leading back to the Cliffside Ruins, on the other side of the bridge.
Firstly, there is a Lore Marker to the right, as well as an Odin’s Raven on a branch over the river.
There is also a Legendary Chest down a ledge next to the bridge, which requires Runic Arrows and Chaos Blade to reach due to ores blocking it.
Once those are done, lower the bridge to return to where you got the first piece of Lunda’s Broken Armor. From here, zipline down to Lunda.
This finishes The Mysterious Orb Side Quest in God of War Ragnarok.
