God of War Ragnarok Modvitnir's Rig Collectible Locations

Modvitnir’s Rig contains 4 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Modvitnir’s Rig Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

When you first visit the area in the story, you are still missing the unlockable skills needed to reach some collectibles. This walkthrough is intended for use after the story.

Collectibles

#1 – Buried Treasure (Treasure Map – Fruits of Industry)
At the start of the beach, on the right, before climbing up the wall, check for the golden glow in the ground. For the treasure to spawn you must first have collected the Treasure Map, it’s from the Lore Scroll collectible found in Svartalfheim > Alberich Hollow. See Alberich Hollow Collectibles: #7 Lore (Treasure Map – Fruits of Industry). You’ll get it automatically when going for 100% completion in Alberich Hollow. Backtrack here afterward, the treasure will then glow golden on the ground. You always need the treasure map first for the treasure itself to spawn.

#2 – Legendary Chest (Muspelheim Seed Half)
Now climb up the wall and throw your axe at the sign on the right to spin it, this opens the gate. Jump over and climb the tower, you find the chest on top. This Chest can either contain a Muspelheim Seed (if you didn’t find 2 of them yet) or Divine Ashes (if you already found 2 Muspelheim Seeds).

#3 – Lore (Lore Marker – Warning)
From the Legendary Chest, turn right and press to use the grappling hook. Then immediately drop down on the right side to find a Lore Marker.

#4 – Mining Rig (Modvitnir’s Rig)
Climb back up and throw your axe twice at the big crane to turn it to the right. Then you can use the grappling hook on the crane to jump over. Climb the gold chain to find the rig at the top of the area. Defeat the enemy first, then interact with the rig.
