God of War Ragnarok contains 418 Collectible Locations. This collectibles guide shows all collectibles in each region for 100% game completion and all trophies.

None of the collectibles are missable! You can pick up everything in free-roam after the story (which is recommended). Pick up what you find yourself during the story. Then come back after the story to mop up the missing items. This guide is intended for use AFTER the story. When you first visit these areas you won’t have the required skills to reach all collectibles. You get all skills automatically from story progress. Some Collectibles don’t spawn at all until you finished the story (particularly the Remnants) and a few areas are only reachable in the endgame. Obtaining 100% Completion also finishes the post-story mission ‘Beyond Ragnarok‘.

Some sections get locked off after the story but those don’t contain collectibles. All collectibles are in areas that can be revisited. Any items from areas that cannot be revisited are automatically added to the blacksmith shop for purchase (such as Shields). Items dropped from enemies you didn’t pick up get placed in the blue chest at the blacksmith automatically and can be retrieved from there. Items found in story sections where you play as Atreus don’t count as collectibles and aren’t needed for 100% completion. Red Chests only contain crafting materials and don’t count as collectibles towards region completion, they can be ignored. The small chests with a golden glow that contain hacksilver aren’t needed either and don’t count for completion.

By following this guide you will earn all trophies including Platinum. All trophies come automatically while working towards 100% completion. The only Collectible Types not needed for any trophies are Lore and Buried Treasures. Everything else is needed. Even though the trophy list doesn’t outright mention some collectible types, you basically need everything. For example, you also need all 48 Odin’s Ravens to get one of the Relics/Hilts as a reward. To get all Apples/Horns you need the Nornir Chests. To fully repair the Amulet of Yggdrasil you need most of the Legendary Chests because they contain the required parts. Books come from Artifacts. Accessing certain areas requires doing Favors, they are needed for many trophies. So just complete every region 100% and you will automatically earn all trophies along the way.

It’s recommended to follow the regions in the exact order listed below, after the story when you have access to everything. This is the optimal order. If you do the regions out of order you may be missing certain prerequisites such as treasure maps and favors. By following this order you will be able to complete each region in one go without backtracking.
