The majority of Magatamas are obtained from completing Yokai Hunts, which are special hunts featuring different yokai types. Before you can unlock a certain yokai type however, you must first complete a Side Mission that introduces that yokai. Pretty sure you meant acquiring all magatama is required for the “With Their Powers Combined” trophy. “It’s All Thanks to Yokai” is for acquiring just one 🙂

Well spotted, thank you! This has been fixed in the first paragraph from “It’s All Thanks to Yokai” to “With Their Powers Combined”.
