After the cutscene, get ready to duel Lord Shimura. To quickly weaken Lord Shimura, use special moves like Heavenly Strike ( + ) if you have enough Resolve and if you can, use your Ghost Stance, too. Roll to avoid his red attacks and parry his blue and normal ones.
Once you’ve emptied his red bar, you’ll have the option to spare or end his life. The choice is yours and whatever you choose will have zero impact on trophies.
