The Family Man (Masako Tale 6 of 9) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Family Man Side Quest.
The Family Man is unlocked when you’ve completed The Fool.

Mission Info: (Masako Tale 6 of 9). A Masako Tale (6 of 9). The hunt for the conspirators who murdered Lady Masako’s family has led her to Kubara. I will meet her there.

Starting Location: The Family Man
Speak with Masako
Travel to Omi Monastery and find Masako in the center of the complex arguing with Junshin.
Speak with Junshin
Junshin is right next to Masako after the cutscene.
Speak with Masako
She’s standing next to Junshin again.
Follow Masako
Leave the monastery, mount your horse and follow Masako towards the beach. You’ll dismount and proceed on foot. Head down towards the waves and you’ll get a cutscene.
Defeat the Mongols
This will be slightly tougher than you’re perhaps used to. There will be shield Mongols with flaming katanas, a leader and a couple of brutes, so you need to be at your dodging best to avoid being set on fire and being beaten to a pulp. Unfortunately, stealth is extremely difficult in this section as it’s very open.
Investigate the house
Check the house for rolls of silk, a bloody blade, dead bodies and a footprint all on the floor.
Follow the footprints
Follow the footprints south, down the beach and around the rocks until you find your target cowering. The cutscene ends the mission.
This finishes The Family Man quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
