Ghost of Tsushima has 80 Sashimono Banner Locations. They are a type of Collectible that unlocks new saddles for your horse. After finding enough Banners and progressing through Act 1, you can talk to a monk at Komatsu Forge (a story location you discover automatically). He will give you the saddles, which also change the harness color of your horse. Other than the customizations there’s no direct reward for collecting them. They aren’t needed for any trophies.
You get 34 Sashimono Banners just from liberating all of the enemy Strongholds. Each Stronghold requires you to find a few of them. The rest is found in the open world, but you can track them using the Traveler’s Attire (obtained for free by talking to merchants, e.g. at Hiyoshi Survivor Camp). With the Traveler’s Attire equipped, open the map and press 
to track “Undiscovered Sashimono Banners”. This option is only available after having found one Banner by yourself.
None of the Banners are missable. You can still get them after the story in free-roam. It doesn’t matter what dialogues and endings you pick during the story. You can track your progress under Pause Menu > Collections > Artifacts > Sashimono Banners.

How can I get in the Fort to collect #71? It’s totally locked for me, not gates or wall breaks. If I try to jump down from any cliff seems a trigger runs and I immediately get killed by falling damage. Any side quest needed to make it possible to reach?

Okay, I checked your all tales guide and seems you need to finish Lady Masaka’s tale chain as the final quest is about wandering around Kikuchi Estate. Need some one to confirm this.
