Act: 3
Region: Kamiagata
Quest Giver: Peasant in Jokagu’s Temple, Jokagu
Requirement: having completed Honor and Ash
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Stealth Charm, +8 Leather
Mission Info: Even far north in Sago, the Mongols have been terrorizing our people. I should do what I can to help them.
Objectives:
- Track the Mongols
- Search for Chuta
- Travel to the Grieving Father
- Search for the Grieving Father
Starting Location: Deep Forest Lake, Kin
Go to the tale marker. Bitter Hills Garrison is pretty close to where the tale starts, so if you’ve already liberated it, you can fast-travel here. Speak to the man to start the tale.
Track the Mongols
To track the Mongols, mount your horse and keep an eye on the footprints on the ground. Cross the bridge, then head right at the crossroads.
Keep going straight ahead until Jin automatically dismounts his horse for a stand-off against some enemies.
Search for Chuta
After the stand-off, clear out any remaining enemies and enter the building to release Chuta.
Travel to the Grieving Father
After speaking with Chuta, go back to the initial location of the tale and interact with the scroll by the hanging body.
Search for the Grieving Father
Next, interact with the footprints found in the same location as the scroll.
The footprints will lead you to a rock overlooking the river.
This finishes the A Father’s Choice quest in Ghost of Tsushima.
