Uncover the secret of the uninhabited island is an objective in Genshin Impact during world quest Time and Wind. This guide shows the solution.

First of all, if you heard about this secret island quest but don’t know where it starts, you need to use an ice character and freeze the sea in the top right of the map, walk over the ice to reach an island, then interact with the statue on it to start the quest:

Now you are supposed to ‘uncover the secret’ but you get a search area spanning the entire island and there are lots of sparkling objects to investigate.

The location you need to go to is the beach on the south side of the island. There’s a big rock formation on the beach which you can destroy by attacking it:

Underneath those rocks is the “Ragged Notebook” – it’s the “secret” you needed to find! That solves this quest objective ‘Uncover the secret of the uninhabited island’.
