Starting Location: Tepeacac Rise
The quest begins when you interact with the glowing stone pillars just west of Tepeacac Rise.
Just like what happened during World Quest, Lost in the Woods, you end up in a secluded woods. No quest has appeared yet.
Go forward and see your Saurian companion burrowing under the ground, indicated by a couple exclamation points. Follow it.
Your companion brings you three gifts, an egg, a stick, and a stone. Paimon recommends that you give your companion a gift in return.
Look for a jeweler’s shop in the Children of Echoes
Teleport to the Obsidian Totem Pole in Children of Echoes.
Look straight east and glide down to the store fronts below the wooden bridge between you and the store fronts.
Speak to the apprentice at the shop
Speak to the apprentice, Imix.
To get the gemstone properly worked, Imix recommends you work with a “Gem Master,” Master Kulahaw. Kulahaw is out looking for inspiration.
Look for the jeweler at the place he’s gathering inspiration
Use the Teleport Waypoint that appears just underneath the Tepeacac Rise text on the map. Then, head northwest.
Speak with the Gem Master
When you get close, you notice the Gem Master standing on a wooden ledge. Speak to Kulahaw.
When you show Kulahaw the gem, a bird comes by and snatches it.
Retrieve the lost gems and the tools
Tool #1: Use the Yumkasaurus Spiritsconce right next to Kulahaw.
Then, use R2/RT to follow the Coilgrass Sigils to the left. Use three of them to end up by the tree.
Notice the large sparkle that appears at the top of the tree. Jump up to the tree and interact with it to get the first tool.
Tool#2: From the tree, look west and interact with the upper sigil.
Then, follow the string of sigils to the tree across the valley. You end up right next to another tree. Interact with the sparkle on the tree to collect the second tool.
Gem: While on the tree, look west again to see another sigil. Use it.
Look southerly to the smaller cliff. Interact with that sigil to reach the top.
Then go to the northeast corner and interact with the sparkle to collect the gem.
Report back to the Gem Master
Make your way back to Kulahaw and talk to him. Use either the Coilgrass Sigils to get back, or use the Teleport Waypoint you used to reach Kulahaw earlier in the quest.
To thank you for retrieving his tools for him, he offers to process your gem for free.
Wait until two days later
Open the Paimon Menu and use the Time button.
Rotate the dial until the display reads “Day After Tomorrow” in the center of the screen.
Go to the gemporium to retrieve the gem
Go back to where you found Imix at the beginning of the quest. Speak with her. She gives you the result of Kuhalaw’s work.
Complete the cutscene to finish the Gifts and Gifts Received World Quest.
If you return to the forest from the beginning of the quest, that space now acts as a Rest Area for you. This space puts on display certain things you collect during your journey, just like a trophy case.
The Gemstone Jewelry you received from this quest appears on display in the Rest Area.
