Genshin Impact Bird’s Eye View Walkthrough

August 1, 2024 by Timmberelli Leave a Comment

Bird’s Eye View is the second subquest in the Prologue: Act 1, The Outlander Who Caught The Wind, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Bird’s Eye View Archon Subquest.

Bird’s Eye View starts automatically upon finishing Wanderer’s Trail.

Region: Starfell Valley
Area: Starfell Valley
Quest Giver: Automatically given
Requirement: Automatically given after completing Wanderer’s Trail
Recommended Level: 1
Reward: 225 Adventure EXP, 975 Mora, 500 Character EXP
Mission Description: Follow Paimon as she helps you understand your new setting, Starfell Valley.

Objectives:

  • Follow the Path
  • Go to Paimon
  • Talk to Paimon
  • Follow Paimon
  • Swim to The Island of Starfell Lake

Starting Location: Bird’s Eye View

Continue following Paimon until you emerge from the forest.

After leaving the forest, you come to a cliff overlooking another Statue of the Seven, with Mondstadt City further on the horizon. After a bit of dialogue, follow Paimon down the path until you reach the edge of the water surrounding the new Statue of the Seven you just saw.

Swim to The Island In Starfell Lake

Paimon also teaches you about stamina while swimming. Much like climbing, if you run out of stamina while swimming, your character drowns. Be mindful of your stamina and how far you need to swim.

Swim across the lake to the island with the Statue of the Seven.

Talk to Paimon

After activating the Statue of the Seven, Paimon talks about how the Traveler obtained an element. This element is called Anemo, one of seven different elements found in Genshin Impact.

This will be the first time you get to make a dialogue choice. However, it does not matter what dialogue you pick, it has no lasting impact and doesn’t change anything. The choices are “I think I know why, it’s because…” or “This can’t be good…”. Pick whichever you prefer.

The story automatically transitions into the next quest: Unexpected Power
