Game Info – How Much Content is in the Game

FINAL FANTASY VII Rebirth is Part 2 of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series. It features about 3 times more content and playtime than Remake Part 1, consisting of a lot more minigames, more quests, more collectibles, more bosses, a longer story, and a bigger open world. There are 14 Story Chapters, 7 Open World Regions, 36 Side Quests, 7 Playable Characters, 36 Bosses, 169 World Intel collectibles, 88 Johnny Treasure Trove Items, 145 Queen’s Blood playing cards, 48 Weapons, 86 types of Materia, 96 types of Accessories, 67 types of Armor, 112 Manuscripts, 8 Piano Song Music Sheets, 48 Chocobo Stops, 49 Open World Caches, 8 Shinra Combat Simulator Challenges, 11 Beast Battleground Challenges, 33 Musclehead Museum Challenges, as well as various other Minigames and Chadley VR Missions. For a 100% completion playthrough you are looking at anywhere from 100-150 hours playtime just to finish the story. If you focus on just the story and ignore all side tasks you can get through it in 50 hours, and if skipping all cutscenes can rush it in 25 hours on easy difficulty. The hardest part is beating the Brutal/Legendary VR Missions (see guide for them below). Due to the sheer amount of content, the many minigames, and the harder VR Missions it’s more difficult to reach 100% completion than it was in Remake Part 1. Plan in 150-200 hours for the Platinum trophy and 100% completion.
