When Words Won’t Do is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the When Words Won’t Do Side Mission (Odd Job). It’s also known as Rhonda’s Request. It requires you to escort a dog across Junon Region to Crow’s Nest.
When Words Won’t Do becomes available in Chapter 4 after completing the Main Objective “Friends Together Again”.

Chapter: 4
Area: Under Junon – Inn (available from Under Junon Community Noticeboard)
Quest Giver: Rhonda
Requirement: Unlocks automatically during Chapter 4, after completing the “Friends Together Again” Main Objective
Reward: 2x Rubies, Sharpshooter’s Companion Vol. I (10 Barret SP), Barret Relationship Strengthened, 10 Party EXP, Player EXP (scaled to your level)
Mission Info: I’m looking to hire a bodyguard. My boy Salmon needs to make a delivery, and I don’t want a fiend even looking at him the wrong way. Come and see me if you’re interested.

- Keep Salmon Safe
Starting Location: When Words Won’t Do (Rhonda’s Request)
You can accept the Odd Job from the Community Noticeboard in Under Junon, or you can go directly to the quest giver outside the Under Junon Inn.
Rendezvous with Salmon
Head to Angler’s Stowage at the entrance to Lower Junon to find Salmon.
Keep Salmon Safe
Once you start following Salmon, he will run along to his destination and you will need to keep up with him. At multiple points along the way you will encounter enemies, make sure to engage with them and defeat them before they attack Salmon. There will be a total of 5 fights along the way, culminating in a fight against some Sandstorm Drakes. Continue following him to Crow’s Nest to deliver the gil, which will finish the quest.
