Junon contains 24 World Intel Locations (Regional Data) in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you to all the world intel collectibles in Junon Region. Nothing is missable, everything can still be completed via Chapter Select which is unlocked after the story. If collecting via Chapter Select it’s best to do everything in Chapter 13 because you have access to everything in the open world at this point. Finding 100% all World Intel in all regions is mandatory for the trophy “Materia Completionist” to develop all of Chadley’s Materia.

World Intel Overview:
Junon World Intel (Regional Data)

#2 – Activation Intel 1: Seabreeze Tower
In the west of Junon, northwest of Gabe’s Ranch.
#3 – Activation Intel 2: Buffeted Cape Tower

#6 – Activation Intel 5: Prospect Tower

#7 – Fiend Intel 1: Cacophonic Corvid
Objectives: Pressure an enemy / Stagger an enemy / Defeat the enemy within the time limit.
Dodge the “Death from Above” attack the pressure Fonadu. It will use this move after dealing some damage to it. An easy method is to activate Classic Combat under System > Options > Gameplay. Don’t press any buttons, it will enter automatic combat mode and do everything for you. Then it should automatically dodge the attack.
#8 – Fiend Intel 2: Zemze Breaks
Objectives: Stagger an enemy / Prevent enemies from taking flight when using Soothing Breeze / Defeat all enemies within the time limit
As soon as an enemy starts using “Soothing Breeze” deal it a lot of damage to pressure it, which will stop it from taking flight. Easiest method is to use Ice Materia (Blizzard Spell) as soon as the enemy starts up the attack. Having Ice Materia on 2-3 characters is helpful, always keep at least 1 ATB bar filled with 2 characters that have Ice Materia. If both enemies use Soothing Breeze at the same time, use one Blizzard Spell with each character (press R2 to issue commands instead of using the real-time button shortcuts). A team of Barret, Aerith, Cloud is good here. Use mainly Barret because his ranged attacks make it easy to hit the enemies. It’s also helpful to play on Easy difficulty for this (can be changed in game options). If a single use of Blizzard isn’t enough to pressure the enemy, follow up with some other ranged attacks or cast Blizzard with two characters simultaneously.
#9 – Fiend Intel 3: Scorched Earth
Objectives: Pressure an enemy / Stagger an enemy / Defeat all enemies within the time limit.
Use Ice Materia (Blizzard Spell) to pressure Lavalisk. Defeat all enemies quickly. Use Cloud and holding to deal area attacks in Operator Mode, and using Blizzard Spells whenever an ATB bar has charged. Equip your other teammates with Ice Materia too and use it whenever they have an ATB bar charged. (Note: to climb up the wall to these enemies you must have unlocked the Chocobo from Side Quest: Stuck in a Rut).
#10 – Fiend Intel 4: Weather the Storm
Objectives: Pressure an enemy / Stagger an enemy / Defeat all enemies within the time limit.
Use Wind Materia (Aero Spell) to pressure and quickly stagger the enemy. Play as Barret to hit the enemies easily. Spam Aero whenever an ATB charge is ready.
#11 – Divine Intel 1: Phoenix Sanctuary α
Use the chocobo to climb up the walls that have red arrows on them until you reach the top of the hill. Must have unlocked the chocobo from Side Quest: Stuck in a Rut.
#12 – Divine Intel 2: Phoenix Sanctuary β
Approach this location from the south by climbing up the walls using a chocobo. Must have unlocked the chocobo from Side Quest: Stuck in a Rut.
#13 – Divine Intel 3: Phoenix Sanctuary y
Exit Crow’s Nest camp through its south exit, then immediately turn left and follow the path downhill along the coast. This leads to a cave underneath Crow’s Nest camp.
#14 – Expedition Intel 1: Chocobluff Lifespring
Use the chocobo to climb up the walls that have red arrows on them and follow the owl. Must have unlocked the chocobo from Side Quest: Stuck in a Rut.
#15 – Expedition Intel 2: Castaway Lifespring
Approach the location from the beach slightly to the north-east. Swim through the water to the broken ship that’s stranded on an island, follow the owl.
#16 – Expedition Intel 3: Mountain Outpost Lifespring
This is found on top of a mountain. At the south-west side of the mountain you can see yellow climbable ledges where the path ends. Climb all the way up to find this.
#17 – Expedition Intel 4: Pharecape Lifespring
From the chocobo stop in front of the Lighthouse, head to the right and climb down using the chocobo. Then follow the path to the end to find this.
#18 – Excavation Intel: The Scars of War
Unlocked from completing Expedition Intel 1 + 2. Enter the Excavation area, ride your chocobo, hold when a blue “?” icon appears, then tilt the right stick in the indicated direction to see the scent line. Follow the scent line to the end and hold to dig up the treasure, repeat for all 3 treasures.
#19 – Classified Intel: The Whisperer in the Darkness
Unlocked from completing Expedition Intel 3+4. You can reach this location by swimming to it from the beach directly to the north. Then hold to summon the enemy. If you are having trouble with the enemy, you can lower the difficulty to easy in the gameplay options.
#20 – Moogle Intel: Mariner Moogle
This can be reached by using the chocobo to climb up the wall east of the map marker (next to the road, left of Activation Intel 4). After entering the door you must herd Moogles to the middle of the area. If they fly into tornados they get stunned and can be grabbed with .
#21 – Phenomenon Intel 1: Wrack and Ruin
Go to the marked location. When you get close it will change the objective to “search the area”. Look for a green tent in the middle of the area, it’s exactly where the map marker is. Interact with the yellow glowing item in front of the tent (it will show a yellow HUD marker when going near it). This will warp you into a minigame of Fort Condor. The goal is to destroy the boss units on the other side. Look at the ATB gauge on the top left, every time it fills 2-3 segments you can spawn a unit. On the right side it shows what units the CPU will spawn. In the top right it shows what each unit type’s strength/weakness is (attack, defense, ranged). Always play a unit that’s strong against the upcoming units, as seen on the right side. So if you see the opponent spawn attack units you should always put defense units on that side. If the opponent uses defense units you put ranged, if he puts ranged you put attack. After you defeat the boss units you’ll win a protorelic piece and the next one gets marked on the map.
#22 – Phenomenon Intel 2: Flotsam and Jetsam
Found among the shipwrecks on the group of islands, you can swim there from the beach to the north. You will again play a round of Fort Condor.
#23 – Phenomenon Intel 3: Crumbling Fastness
Found along the road south of Crow’s Nest (north of Abandoned Lighthouse).
#24 – Phenomenon Intel 4: Interdimensional Warlock
This is at the end of the mountain climbing path at the north-east edge of Junon Region. There are multiple ways to get there, but easiest is to follow the road north-east of Activation Intel 3, until you reach the end of the road, then climb down to the valley. Then climb up the two walls to the north using your chocobo, then turn left and go over the log by the waterfall. Keep climbing up, there’s only way way forward here, until you reach the Crow’s Camp (treasure chest icon on map). Turn right in Crow’s Camp where the water flows, follow that path and climb up one last wall, then go over the wooden bridge to find the Fort Condor game. The second map image below outlines the path.
That’s 100% of the Regional Data World Intel you can find in Junon in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

I’ve only got 5/6 marked in red at top of map in Junon. I’ve gone through everything. Do I need to beat the leapfrog game or play the fort condor on hard mode to get 6/6?
