O Chicken, Where Art Thou is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the O Chicken, Where Art Thou Side Mission (Odd Job). It’s also known as Hen’s Request. It requires you to help Kazhra find her chickens.
O Chicken, Where Art Thou becomes available at the Gongaga Village Community Noticeboard after completing the “State of Things” Main Objective in Chapter 9.

Chapter: 9
Area: Gongaga Village – Felicia Commons (available from Gongaga Village Community Noticeboard)
Quest Giver: Grandma Hen
Requirement: Available after completing the “State of Things” Main Objective in Chapter 9
Reward: Lucky Amulet (Accessory), Red XIII Relationship Strengthened, 10 Party EXP, Player EXP (scaled to your level)
Mission Info: You wouldn’t believe the state of my chicken coop! Poked full of fresh holes because of that black stuff from the reactor. Some were big enough for my little dears to wriggle through and run off, and now I’m scrambling to track them down before some beastie gets to them first. Oh, if only a kind soul would come and lend me a hand…

- Recapture Pippily
- Report to Kazhra
Starting Location: O Chicken, Where Art Thou (Hen’s Request)
You can accept the Odd Job from the Community Noticeboard in Gongaga Village, or you can go directly to the quest giver in Felicia Commons.
Recapture the Chickens
Follow Red XIII to find the first chicken. You will need to use the Feed Clanger with 
to lure them back to the coop. Walk backwards pressing 
when the chicken is close to pull it back towards you and continue luring them.
For the second chicken, if the chicken gets a question mark above its head, stop pulling the Feed Clanger and wait for the question mark to change to an exclamation mark, then continue.
For the third chicken, it will charge towards the Feed Clanger when three red dots appear above its head, so be sure to pull the clanger just before it reaches it.
Track Down Pippily
Follow Red through the South Gate to find Pippily in a field.
Recapture Pippily
After luring Pippily for a few meters you’ll get attacked by a Levridon. Defeat it and Pippily will automatically return to the coop.
Report to Kazhra
Return to Kazhra at the chicken coop.
