Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Dreaming of Blue Skies Walkthrough

Dreaming of Blue Skies is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Dreaming of Blue Skies Side Mission (Odd Job). It’s also known as the Condor-Watching Society’s Request. It requires you to track down some food for the Condor.

Dreaming of Blue Skies becomes available at the Crow’s Nest Community Noticeboard after completing the “When Words Won’t Do” Side Quest.

Mission Info: Our beloved condor has not graced the skies above Junon in quite some time. We worry for her welfare and wish to hire someone to prepare a culinary feast that she will find too tempting to resist. Those willing to provide assistance are invited to join us on Condor Hill.

Head into the Fiend’s Lair
Deliver the Condor’s Dinner

Starting Location: Dreaming of Blue Skies

You can accept the Odd Job from the Community Noticeboard in The Crow’s Nest, or you can go directly to the quest giver at Condor Hill. To reach the quest giver location, you must go up the wooden ramp inside Crow’s Nest. The path leading out of Crow’s Nest to the west will lead to Condor Hill.

Head to the Hunting Spot

Travel to the Hunting Spot to the west of Crow’s Nest, then approach the cow.

Track Down the Condor’s Dinner

After scaring off the cow, get on your chocobo and track its scent with . Follow the yellow scent trail until you find the cow being attacked by some enemies, kill them.

Track Down the Dinner Thief

Once again, track the scent and follow it.

Head into the Fiend’s Lair

After tracking the scent to a cave, you’ll hear a loud roar. Head inside and fight the Mystic Dragon. Afterwards, you will get to choose between Bovine Meat, Monster Meat or Peculiar Greens. For the best result, pick Bovine Meat.
