Bodybuilders in a Bind is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Bodybuilders in a Bind Side Mission (Odd Job). It’s also known as Jule’s Request. It requires you to assist Jules with some fiends at the Training Gym.
Bodybuilders in a Bind becomes available at the Costa del Sol Community Noticeboard after completing the “Rendezvous in Costa del Sol” Side Quest.
Side Quest: Bodybuilders in a Bind
Chapter: 7
Area: Corel – Training Gym (available from Costa del Sol Community Noticeboard)
Quest Giver: Jules
Requirement: Available after completing the “Rendezvous in Costa del Sol” Side Quest in Chapter 7
Reward: Tifa Relationship Strengthened, 10 Party EXP, Player EXP (scaled to your level)
Mission Info: It’s time to muscel maximize – or at least it was, until a bunch of fiends showed up and started scaring our members. Even the most passionate builder would struggle to get into a rhythm with those things hanging around, so we need an able-bodied merc to come save the day – and our gains.
Objectives:
- Defeat the Fiends near the Training Gym
- Report to Jules
- Amina’s Request
Starting Location: Bodybuilders in a Bind (Jule’s Request)
You can accept the Odd Job from the Community Noticeboard in Costa del Sol, or you can go directly to the quest giver at the Training Gym in Corel Region.
Defeat the Fiends near the Training Gym
Around the gym will be four groups of fiends. Run around and kill them all.
Report to Jules
Return back to Jules at the gym.
Amina’s Request
You will now challenge Amina in a crunch-off competition. This is similar to the squats and pull ups from the first game, except this time you’re using the shoulder buttons.

I dislike this minigame so much. The part where you have to half press the shoulder button always trips me up

I actually preffered it in FF7Remake, button presses were much easier imo. I am a lot slower with trigger presses and half way button presses makes it even more annoying.
