Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Where There’s A Will Walkthrough

Where There’s A Will is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Where There’s A Will side mission.

• Starting Location: The Hideaway
• Quest Giver: Joshua
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Back to their Origin‘ Main Quest after speaking with Jill. Must also have completed Side Quest: Phoenix, Heal Thyself.
• Reward: 7200 XP, 40 Renown, Curiosity: Rusted Battlehelm
• Quest Info: Joshua received a message from Cyril, saying that something akin to their father’s last will and testament has been found. He suggests that he and Clive make for Tabor to learn more.

Objectives:

• Speak with Cyril
• Speak with Archduke Elwin’s aide in the Requietory
• Slay Simurgh in Titan’s Wake
• Deliver the heartstone to Goditha
• Exit the Requietory
• Visit Archduke Elwin’s memorial

Starting Location: Where There’s A Will

Speak with Cyril

Fast travel to Tabor and enter the building next to the obelisk to find Cyril.

Speak with Archduke Elwin’s aide in the Requietory

The Requietory is up the stairs next to the obelisk.

Slay Simurgh in Titan’s Wake

Fast travel south-east to the Gilded Path obelisk, then head west. You’ll see Simurgh, a griffin, so kill it.

Deliver the heartstone to Goditha

Return to the Requietory and speak to Goditha.

Exit the Requietory

Walk out the door.

Visit Archduke Elwin’s memorial

Fast travel west to Hawk’s Cry Cliff and head west to Hero’s Bluff.
