Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Trading Places II Walkthrough

Trading Places II is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Trading Places II side mission.

• Quest Giver: Theodore
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Across the Narrow‘ Main Quest and also having completed ‘Trading Places I‘ Side Quest.
• Reward: 4800 XP, 400 AP, 1500 Gil, 50 Renown, Curiosity: Crimson Caravans Signboard, Accessory: The Breath of Fire (Scarlet Cyclone)
• Quest Info: The rebuilding and restocking of Kasjlok is well underway, but what of the negotiations with the army? Theodore asks Clive to check in with his sister as to when the purchase is likely to be concluded.

Objectives:

• Speak with Eloise
• Rendezvous with Eloise outside Ran’dellah
• Make for Kasjlok
• Search for Theodore upriver from Kasjlok
• Slay the Akashic beasts

Starting Location: Trading Places II

Speak with Eloise

Eloise is 40y to the west.

Rendezvous with Eloise outside Ran’dellah

Ran’dellah is 450y to the south, the quickest way is to ride your chocobo there. Speak to Eloise at the quest marker.

Make for Kasjlok

Fast travel to Laetny’s Cleft and ride south to the Abandoned Fishing Village.

Search for Theodore upriver from Kasjlok

Head north through Cerdra’s Thread to find Theodore.

Slay the Akashic beasts

Kill all the enemies, including the strong dragon. Eventually after a lot of dialogue, the quest will end.
