Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Tears of Mercy Walkthrough

Tears of Mercy is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Tears of Mercy side mission.

• Requirement: Unlocks during the ‘A Song of Hope‘ Main Quest after completing the ‘Like Father, Like Daughter‘ Sub-Quest
• Reward: 400 XP, 1200 Gil, 25 Renown, 20 Sharp Fang, 40 Magicked Ash
• Quest Info: Rodrigue begs Clive to help him convince Tarja that she needs to rest. It seems she’s been devoting all her time to a certain patient, and not even stopping to sleep.

Objectives:

• Speak with Tarja
• Slay a miteling for its eye
• Deliver the eye to Rodrigue in the Hideaway’s infirmary

Starting Location: Tears of Mercy

Speak with Tarja

Tarja is next to the quest giver by a bed.

Slay a miteling for its eye

Fast travel to Northreach and head south-west to the quest marker.

Deliver the eye to Rodrigue in the Hideaway’s infirmary

Return to Rodrigue to complete the quest.

This finishes Tears of Mercy Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI).
