Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Silver Linings Walkthrough

Silver Linings is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Silver Linings side mission.

• Starting Location: The Hideaway
• Quest Giver: Gav
• Requirement: Unlocks during the ‘Back to Their Origin‘ Main Quest after speaking to Jill. Must also have completed Side Quest: Trial and Error.
• Reward: 5600 XP, 30 Renown, Curiosity: Winter Mead
• Quest Info: Gav has carved a gift for Edda’s unborn child, as is tradition in the Northern Territories, but lacks the final piece required to complete it the feather of a rarely seen silver chocobo.

Objectives:

• Speak with merchants in Martha’s Rest (0/3)
• Search for the abandoned shack off Rhiannon’s Ride
• Investigate the shack
• Deliver the silver chocobo feather to Gav
• Speak with Edda

Starting Location: Silver Linings

Speak with merchants in Martha’s Rest (0/3)

Fast travel to Martha’s Rest and first speak to the merchant right in front of you tending to a chocobo. Another is to the west of the village next to the lift, whilt the third is to the north just before the bridge, tending to a sack.

Search for the abandoned shack off Rhiannon’s Ride

Ride north-east to Rhiannon’s Ride and you’ll find fresh chocobo tracks.

Investigate the shack

Go inside and pick up the feather.

Deliver the silver chocobo feather to Gav

Return to Gav at the Hideaway.

Speak with Edda

Edda is in the infirmary.

This finishes Silver Linings Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI).
