Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Self-Determination Walkthrough

Self-Determination is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Self-Determination side mission.

• Starting Location: The Hideaway
• Quest Giver: Cole
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Across the Narrow‘ Main Quest and reading the letter ‘Captain Dorys’ at the Reading Table in Clive’s Chambers.
• Reward: 1600 XP, 30 Renown, 100 Wyrrite, 25 Sharp Fang, 1 Meteorite
• Quest Info: Clive receives a letter from Cole expressing his concerns about Dorys’s wellbeing, and reolves to speak with her and see what the trouble might be.

Objectives:

• Speak with Dorys in the Mess
• Search for Dorys at Martha’s Rest
• Journey to the Baum Arches
• Slay the imperial soldiers

Starting Location: Self-Determination

Speak with Dorys in the Mess

A cutscene will start as soon as you approach the Mess.

Search for Dorys at Martha’s Rest

Fast travel to Martha’s Rest and head west to find Dorys behind a building.

Journey to the Baum Arches

Fast travel south to the Auldhyl Docks, then head east to the Baum Arches.

Slay the imperial soldiers

Kill all the enemies. After a lot of dialogue, the quest will end.

This finishes Self-Determination Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI).
