Louder than Words is the 10th main story quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Louder than Words main scenario chapter.

- Quest Info: While traveling through the Greatwood, Clive and Cid happen upon a small party of Waloeder intelligencers captained by a woman from Cid’s past – Benedikta Harman. Left with more questions than answers, the pair continue on to Lostwing.

Make for Lostwing
At the start of the chapter, you’ll be in Orabelle Downs, the first location you encounter in the first open-world map section. In these sections, you can pull up a local map with , and warp around to any already discovered Obelisks. You can also warp back to the Hideaway at any time using the World Map.
On the way you’ll encounter a group of soldiers like were with the Midnight Raven earlier. Deal with them and keep following the objective into Lostwing.
Explore Lostwing
You need to explore the town to find out where the people have gone. Head directly into the center of town along the water to find a girl hiding in some boxes.
She tells you all the people were in the church, head up the nearby stairs to reach them.
Pursue the fleeing soldier
After the scene, following the linear path ahead up the stairs after the soldier.
Defeat Chirada
You now have a fight against the miniboss Chirada. This boss isn’t a major boss like Midnight Raven in the prior chapter, so is overall weaker and doesn’t actually have any named attacks. Almost all of Chirada’s attacks have very obvious windups, and they don’t actually do any combos, so the main thing to do is what for what large obvious actions they’re doing. Some of the most obvious are the ranged attacks, like the beam they can shoot from the start of the fight. This beam has a linear field projected outward from the boss, so just don’t stand in the spot on the ground where it is moving.
All of the melee attacks they will do are prefaced by one of their limbs being highlighted in green, followed by them performing the attack. They will either slam a leg downward or perform slashes around themselves. They generally have the same timing, so just watch when the windup starts.
The other two less obvious attacks they can do from the start are a lunge or a circular spin. These are both represented with a green aura around the boss and raising slightly in the air, then performing the action.
Once they are under half health, the only new attack they gain is a ranged ground attack, where green lights will appear on the ground before a damage spot appears. These are easily avoided in a similar manner to how you avoided them against prior enemies, but just moving in one direction and dodging if needed.
Once they are defeated you are rewarded with a Cleric’s Medallion accessory (Increases healing potency of potions by 20%) and complete this main quest after some scenes.
